If they’re not able to moderate the extremists, all the app will be will get is the extremist and hate. Forget about comments at least to moderate your questions. The queries and posts the people make here out of extremely low quality.

When I’m just scrolling down I see the app clicking on ads on my behalf. They are scamming both users and ad sellers.

Most racist and sexist all in existence. The community and the moderation team ( I don’t know if they even have) does take any actions against the vile racism on the app

Best app for extreme Racism and toxicity
This app seems like it was designed to foster hate speech and harbor the most exrrene racism and toxicity on the digital world. Easily the app that would most destroy your mental health.
Wretched iPad experience
The most disgusting iPad app experience I have ever encountered. Not a responsive UI.
Unusable almost
The performance of this app has gotten better. So no complaints anymore. But the app is almost unusable because of people misusing the “Report” feature by reporting anything that doesn’t fit their worldview. This is creating a space where certain groups hijack the soul of the app. No space for non traditional opinions even if they don’t break channel rules. There is no way to appeal bans. Blind should either limit the number of “Report”s each user can make to 1 per month similar to messaging or add some accountability where if a post is not actually breaking rules then the user who reported should get banned.
Terrible app
It thinks it knows what your work email is. It really does not work as you would expect. Would love to speak with the developer, but they are not accessible. And many of us have gmail business emails.

I DO NOT CLICK ON THE STUPID ADS but somehow I'm redirected to an ad page in an external browser every 20 seconds. They are doing this on purpose to make money

The app is ok and the content can be informative but the constant auto clicking on ads is annoying and borderline abusive.

Banned for saying factual statements? Ads littering the website? Hate speech is yet somehow tolerated?!? I’m going to make my own app with free speech. This is the worst.

One star for being too lazy to create an iPad app and on top of it bugging me to download the non-existent iPad app on the browser.

Ads pop up even if you don’t press them, or scroll past them. This is insanely annoying, and has been going on for too long.

Mysoginistic and racist liars
The app is full of people lying about the NW and TC. On a poll, 70% of people said being a millionaire by 30 is pathetic. Loads of posts insulting women unprovoked. The ads for testosterone supplements is an obvious indicator of the wannabe “alpha male” women haters.
Forced ad pop ups
Hey, you talentless freaks, I know that you purposely make ads automatically trigger, even when you scroll past to them. For example, if you scroll past an app advertisement, it will just open the App Store automatically you do this because it keeps her pathetic engagement numbers up and you refuse to fix it because you know that it would drop your engagement numbers and your ad click through rate. It is beyond pathetic and just how much you hate your users.

Vile and racist content against India
I have been on Blind for many years now. The amount of racist venom spewed against Indians on this app is unreal. Barely any moderation. I barely open this app any more.

These days, there’s no moderation (maybe Blind embraces the problematic messaging common on the platform). This means there is rampant misogyny, racism and bullying / harassment.
Seems like 90% of the remaining users are part of the “anti-woke” MAGA crowd and constantly spew idiotic and harmful rhetoric.
Authentic questions and discussion posts either get zero engagement or the comments are full of SWE who think they’re god because they get paid well, and equate their intelligence and worth to their salary, believing it gives them free reign to tell others to KYS, providing unhelpful / outright disrespectful input and feedback on genuine posts.

Want to like it
I want to like the app, discuss work and career related issues but it’s getting more and more toxic by the day. Reporting posts does nothing. Blind says they moderate the posts but in my experience it is one opposite. Racism (specially against one county), misogyny and anti LGBT feelings run rampant. It’s just very toxic now.

I have literally seen posts advocating for genocide that remain up for days. Every day there’s multiple posts racist posts about Indians.
Used to be useful, now it’s just racism
Blind used to be a place to discuss workplace issues and learn what is happening in the industry. Now it’s just full of downright racist posts that blond refuses to take down and breeds toxicity in every form. Deleted the app because it’s doing more harm than it is useful.
Horrible UI/UX/ADs
So many ads any misclick will most likely be an add tap to open to your default browser. Many ui/ux issues that will also crash the app while also various accounts are able to use the same username which causes confusion. Ex employees should not be able to post/view company forums. Blind should be verifying current status of users.
Should be able to mute a channel
Why is every post I see from the “India” channel? I am not Indian and I don’t interact with any of the content from that channel but it is all that I see on both the home and popular page. There is no option to mute it, this app has become useless to me.

This app is full of discrimination and harassment. Blind as a platform does nothing to remove such posts. Give a man a mask and he will show the real face goes a long way for this app. People are misusing anonymity and targeting minorities like there is no tomorrow.
