I contacted customer support multiple times seeking assistance. Unfortunately, despite answering their questions and providing the information requested, I have not received a solution, access to my account, or a refund.
As a paying customer, I expect either the service I purchased or a prompt refund. Instead, my money was taken, I have received no service, and my issue remains unresolved.

A lot of errors
I've been using this app for two weeks. Although it’s helpful for accent training, it’s full of errors. After each lesson, it shows an error message and suggests contacting the developer. My iPhone app stopped working within two weeks. When I used it on my iPad, it started a new lesson without syncing with my iPhone progress. Also, when I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, it warned that reinstalling would cause data loss. Despite being expensive, the app’s poor quality is clear through the frequent errors it causes. For this error-prone app, it should not be given a high rating.

Don’t do it unless you for sure want it
Never had another app that was to difficult to cancel the free trial. I was hoping you could choose different accents to learn more similar to an acting dialect coach, but this is just standard American English. Once I realized that I wanted to cancel but it’s not the same as other apps you have to jump through 100 hoops and $50 discount offers to get it to maybe cancel, and then it still doesn’t even give you a cancelation confirmation
Terrible AI scoring. Don’t waste your money
This app will force you to mispronounce words because their AI scoring system is horrible. Don’t waste your money on it.

It is not worth is it
I gave this app 1 star because it is seriously not worth the money at all. First of all, charging $150 a year for an app like this is ridiculous. The app is full of AI voices, and they constantly talk over each other and does not let you say the word that’s on this the screen, which makes it super annoying and frustrating to use. On top of that, the app is really laggy and barely works smoothly half the time. For something this expensive, I expected way better quality, not a buggy mess full of AI-generated voices. Complete waste of money, and I definitely would not recommend it.

Please stop updating the app it’s making it worse
Everything worked fine before the recent update. Now practice is broken, the word displayed completely mismatched the actual pronunciation.
Congrats to whatever project manager there for making this app worse by adding unnecessary features.

For example, the word displayed is “conclusion,” but the coach recording is saying “visuals”. Now you have to say visuals despite the word displayed is completely different. Do not download or subscribe since it will ruin your study mood.

Gamification is annoying
The silly gamification is annoying. “You just earned a star!” I am not a 3rd grader, I have a meeting with people in a few days and need to practice English, not playing games, stop wasting my time and stop killing learning and education. Make your annoying gamification optional or get rid of it, it looks so fake. So far, I sent a few suggestions to the BoldVoice team and they didn’t consider any of them, they simply don’t care. They charge you hundreds $$ and offer you a game, not a learning tool.
Don’t trust this company
I was charged for premium access after my trial was over and never got the access.
Subscription Trap
I signed up a free trial and realized it went to annual subscription after 7 days. It’s didn’t charge me monthly or an ability to revert the pay even though I tried within minutes of it surpassing the subscription time. I really hope the customer support gets back with the refund.
Customer Support Is Not Found
I changed my phone & once I downloaded, this app is not helpful to help me locate the email I used ! I paid for the whole year and cannot get access again !!

Very Difficult Subscription Cancellation Process and Continued Charges
Be careful with this app’s subscription process. I canceled my subscription through the app menu, and it even redirected me to another page where I completed the cancellation again. Despite that, they continued charging me monthly. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. I’m planning to report this as fraudulent billing behavior. A company should not make cancellation this confusing or difficult.
Horrible updates
I’ve used this app daily for three years and used to love it. It was the best accent reduction app available. Unfortunately, recent updates seriously damaged the user experience. The audio often doesn’t match the text, the pronunciation button disappears, and recording frequently doesn’t work. Very disappointing.
Warm up is all broken
It was a great application till recently when it start glitching everywhere. As an example: warm up starts, records the first word correctly, moves to the next word - audio example is missing, and then if you say the word you see on the page it would still expect you to say the previos one you just did before. The buttons to compare coaches probunciation vs yours are missing. Coaches messages glitch as well, producing random “awesome” messages here and there where not expected. warmup is impossible to do as after a couple of words the record button becomes disabled at all.
Great Coaches but Very Monotonous and repetitive content
No motivation to keep consistency because of monotonous and repetitive content and context, feels like waste of money. At least some kind of flexibility should give to the learners regarding learning context. Extremely Monotonous. Coaches are great though.
