Poor Review Section
I was marked no-show by a professional on Booksy, I booked an appointment today. I get to the location and the massage therapist did not know I had an appointment. I sat and waited about 15 minutes then I told the therapist I was on lunch break and had to leave. The therapist marked me as a no-show when I was not a no-show and there is no function to let to let me respond to the no-show

Calendar reminder mishap
I have only used ad to calendar appointment from Booksy and both times that I have done this. It has been an hour off and I have missed my appointment both times I’m not sure why as the application seems to be great about booking, but it is not allow for time zone input efficiently, therefore I am not going to use the Calendar reminder any longer
Cancelled appt
I’m still waiting on a refund for a appt I canceled last week. I canceled within the policy and still have yet to have any communication from Booksy on receiving my refund.

I made an appointment for today Friday April 17, 2026 at 8:30pm. At “Fade ‘Em All” on 84th and Federal. First thing that happened when I got there I arrived to mid argument between barbers (Jandro) and the front assistant. I was sitting down waiting until 8:50pm for someone to greet me. Jandro finally comes out and said “Hey bro just because it’s after closing hours I am going to charge you 30 dollars extra.” I asked “Well how much is your hair cut regular price?” He said “65” when in Booky it’s promoting for 60$ ? Why are you already up charging me twice ? He also said it’s in the “policy.” No where in the policy in Booksy does it say that. Keep in mind it’s my first time there. I was flabbergasted to get charged 95 dollars for a low fade. I didn’t know what to respond so I stayed sitting down feeling forced to get the service. I waited for an opportunity to get out but some barbers suggested each other to get “shots” and “let’s get liquor” so they were coming in and out I could leave. I don't want to give my money to someone providing a service intoxicated and he didn’t provide any service but discomfort.
I’m deleting this app

App Needs Work
It’s an okay app, but the biggest issue of the app that it does not have any options to Report issues or you even cannot put a review for any business, unless you use their service and the Booksy sends you a customer review option. In a situation where the business is mal practicing you are really helpless.
To give a common experience I had with one of the Salons, and that also 3 times, which I feel they are doing this to multiple customers.
This related to Epic Unisex Hair Salon, Clifton, NJ. So after setting appointment, but when I arrive at the salon, the same guy ALEX, is already working on someone else, which once took 45 mins during my appointment. The second time he was not there, I still waited but he never showed up & the third time he did the same thing by taking someone else during my appointment. The smartest move this guy does is does not cancel the appointment and lets the customer cancel it. So if t doesn’t look negative on the business end!
Surprisingly Booksy app does not have any option to report these issues. They do not realize, it’s a big waste of time and resources!

Booked a haircut through Booksy arrived 10 minutes early for appointment and bare shop confirmed they never received the booking this is the fourth time I’ve had this happened through the app I’m new to the area I live and it’s so inconvenient

I never missed appointment!
The app tells me I missed appointment and I was a no show. That’s not true at all. No support to talk to so why bother using a flawed app. Don’t bother booking, app is trash.
Charging my card
I had to put my card in to download the app and now it keeps trying to charge my card with different charges. I locked my card but it keeps trying to charge it

Platform will not support you. Booked a service, guy was a no show, booksy would not help me with a refund and the service provider would not either. It’s a scam, beware.
They service business not customers
The app doesn’t even let you cancel reoccurring bookings. You can only cancel the appointments “one time” the reoccurring appointments will stay on your calendar forever, protecting the business, not the customer.
I contacted Booksy so see how I can cancel the reoccurring and they said there is no way to cancel, LOL, and the contact the service provider.

I’m getting charged for barber services I paid for in cash. Then when I tried to get a refund they charged me again.

Getting too intrusive
It's gotten more than out of hand. Now BOOKSY wants my credit card on file so it can charge me in advance for services. I guess it just decided that paying in cash isn't allowed any more. That's enough, it had to go, I won't go to a barber or nail place that uses BOOKSY, I'm going back to in-person appointments and cash payments.

This is a platform for people to steal your money without ever even confirming your appt, let alone servicing you.
This Booksy platform just allows users to scam people out of their money and then not have a system to help protect the person paying for the service that never even received a confirmed scheduled appointment. This platform is just being used by people to abuse and scam others

Works with trusted barbers just fine and would give 5 stars if that were the standard. Booksy ought to crack down on fake barbers. Wasted time and money to get to confirmed appointments with no recourse for last minute cancellations and informed by building personnel the suite is unoccupied. Very frustrating experience
So many faults
Your app clearly has trouble booking the appointments I chose. There are multiple times where I select a certain date and time and the app is not adjusted for that date and time or the barber I chose. Multiple times I’ve had to cancel all my Barber because your app does not appropriately register what time and date I put.

I want to give a bad review for a jacked up hair cut, but they cancelled my appointment before I could review them = no review.
Could be Better
I use this for hair, it only allows scheduling out a few months so you have to come back in to schedule ahead.
If it were me, i would at least have the option to ask the user if they wanted to schedule a next appointment, if so, ask how far in advance and go there. Easy Peasy. Except none of that exists. Otherwise, 5 stars. Since nothing changed since I wrote this months ago, down to 2 stars

False booking
Allowed me to book a but shop was closed and I believe re named as well
Classy nails in hermitage, Tn
Bo did such an amazing job. I went in to have my nails trimmed down and a gel fill in. She was attentive & got the exact color I wanted! She is the best will forever be my favorite nail tech to go to! Hands down she is the best!
Booking Unavailable
Every time I book with a barber I go to schedule another booking at a later date and I get the Booking Unavailable with no reason why. If I’m a terrible customer I’d like to know why. If they are on vacation I’d like to know. I’ve had to change barbers so many times because of this. This needs to display more transparent information not just Booking Unavailable
Too complicated
I should not be forced to input a credit card to book a simple haircut. Too many steps to book a haircut.
