Don’t download this or other supercell games.
Supercell’s customer service is absolutely atrocious. I got my account stolen by some random person in Brazil and I didn’t even get a chance to message or call a real person to get my account back. I have ids of receipts that on the website they said they would take as proof but after a week of reaching out and trying to go through the bot I never got anything back. I spent a lot of money across boom beach, clash royale, clash of clans, and brawl stars and I would’ve spent more but I never will again on a new account with the possibility of this happening again.

The update is very, very bad.
When converting resources to crystals, I can only convert once. Then I have to press again to convert another time.

Cheaters
They are bots not real players
Corporate greed. Selling your information.
This app has forced all of its users to agree to being sold to the highest bitter. This app needs to be one star from every user because they intentionally forced everyone to agree to over 50 different default, data mining options without the ability to opt out. This is a horrible despicable, deceitful company and should be bankrupt and all employees should be terminated and never allowed to work in the entertainment industry ever.
Not worth it anymore
Game was fun 5 years ago. Every new update makes it worse. It is amazing how much they ruined the game in the last year.
Where did the fun go?

They are making you pay for instant training. Game sucks again without it. Not willing to pay for what should be a feature.
Why
This game gives itself 1062% building health statues, while they only allow players to have at the most 80% health statues. Unfortunately it is now a pay to play game. Future players that are thinking about playing it keep this in mind. Definitely a 1/4 star game now.

The latest update kicked me out of my TF and I don’t remember the name to find it again. Terrible update.
Lost their way
Lots of players but big game fun but the company has lost the zing that made them good,once they started making money they ended customer support, lot of upgrades but it hard to progress. And they big enough they no longer care what people think.

Since the gadget update my app stability has dropped significantly, I’ve experienced crashes on app loads, during battles, and just hopping through the numerous menus
Timers Galore
The one good thing about this game compared to say CoC was that it didn’t have timers to retrain your troops so you could just continually attack the many available bases etc.
The newest update introduced timers you can pay gems to skip to train your troops. So now everything is tied to timers you need gems to skip. Ruined the entire flow.

Used to be a good game
Makes me sad that the latest update killed the casual player who liked to upgrade buildings.
Pay to win
This game is now fully pay to win. It’s become overly complicated with needless base upgrades and side quests. I am done giving them anymore money.

Progression & balance do not exist
Balance & progression in this game does not exist 😂 I’ve been fighting with the same guy over a resource base since I downloaded the game. He is a higher level than me so there is nothing I can do. He takes the base multiple times a day, and it is now at the point I can no longer take it.
The unfortunate part is, I need the base. I produce way more stone than wood. I can no longer do any more upgrades until I have more stone. I can’t keep my resources long enough though to get enough stone because some other random guy will come and take my stuff every single time.
There is no shield, no way to protect my resources, no way for me to progress.

The game takes way too long to get upgrades to your base and make any progress without putting money into the game, and the combat slows down considerably since you have to go back to your base and select troops again, if you’re going to play a supercell game, I’d suggest clash of clans and not this.
Terrible Support
The game itself is amazing, however they rely on bots for account support.
I was locked out of my game when upgrading phones. Unfortunately you have to remember your tag account tag island name and hq level for their bots to assist.
I emailed support and all they say is use in game support. The email system is a bot too. I have all the information from gamecenter and all the badges but still cannot get help.
The bot even closed the email thread.

From level 61 to zero - No recovery - No response
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the App Store support experience regarding Boom Beach.
I was a dedicated player for years and had reached level 61 before I stopped playing back in 2017. Recently, I reinstalled the game expecting to continue from where I left off, only to find that my entire progress was completely gone and I was forced to start from scratch.
At the time I originally played, there was no Supercell ID system in place, so naturally my account was not linked. However, I still expected some form of recovery support, especially given the time and effort I invested in the game.
What makes this situation far worse is the complete lack of response from support. I have been contacting them daily for over a week, and not a single reply has been received. This level of neglect is unacceptable. Players who invest years into a game deserve at least basic customer support and acknowledgment.
Losing progress is already frustrating, but being ignored entirely makes it even worse. This experience has seriously damaged my trust, not only in the game but in the platform as a whole.
I strongly urge the support team to take player issues seriously and respond in a timely manner. Ignoring loyal users is simply not acceptable.

Been playing this game for 11 years. With the new updates, it became complicated. I like it better before when game story was simple. I think now it’s more focused on paying for upgrades. Our task force members including me are getting less interested in playing this game.

When it comes to the warships. The app constantly gets the winner wrong. It alters your ability to move ahead. I have won battles by more than 10 seconds only for the app to say that I have lost. Very frustrating

After years of playing this game it appears it is time to hang it up. They have made it so complicated and keep adding unnecessary elements to the game. I can’t imagine someone enjoying this game just starting out, sadly no longer the great strategy game
