It’s great for seeing secondary values but does a poor job on your inventory. Can only see a few characters so can’t distinguish between different batches/proofs. Also, adds the values together if you have more than 1 bottle of a whiskey so it skews the results when sorting high to low.

If you’re going to roll out subscriptions…
Make sure it works before you take people’s money. Signed up a month ago for the yearly subscription but once I log in it asks me to subscribe. If i hit it again to subscribe it just spins. Stay clear.

Bland
App isn’t optimized and have the nerve to ask for $3 a month. They also try to get your email before they disclose it’s paid.

The fact that you have to pay anything for this is ridiculous. I’d give 0 stars if it were possible. I’d consider a subscription if there were any benefits to subscribing. The generic use is not enough.
Crazy expensive & bad experience
If I’m expected to pay $3 a month I want the app to be flawless. The overall experience is subpar and search capabilities have to be an exact match, could t even search for Blanton’s. I’ll stick with BoozeApp and although the user experience isn’t flawless, it’s free and they continue to improve on it.

What a letdown
I must echo nearly every other review here, this stinks. Paywalled app masquerading as a free app is lame in the first place, but to go from a free website to $3/mo or $25/year for your app is insane.
I am sorry, but I don’t wish for this to succeed. Cash grabs are lame and that’s what this app is.

Bait and switch
If you’re gonna charge for your app, put it upfront don’t make it look like a free app and when you go through the whole registration and login it makes you pay

Cant search Boubon in the app. The screen is froze. And $25/yr?? NUTS!!

Unfortunate
It’s been free on the website since the beginning and now it’s a pay site for a market that is already absurd on the prices for glass bottles of whisky… Hard pass! And it’s more than just me that refuses to pay for one more thing for “only $25”.
As you all and the rest of us know, the bourbon “network” is vast! You’re missing an opportunity to bring us all together and have ads that will put money in your pocket like you want all while getting the clicks or exposure needed to feed your marketing.

I’d give this zero stars if I could, but one is as low as they let you go.
Anyways, it was a good app while it lasted. Owner got greedy and decided to over charge for just only being able to use their services.

Taking it off the web- whoever advised them to do this should lose their job. Plus I wouldn’t trust their data anymore, with no one using the service and having to pay for it. I doubt pricing data is remotely accurate going forward
Tastes like disappointment
Sad to see that this free service developed an app that turned into a cash grab. Fortunately there are still other ways to verify bourbon pricing for free

I can’t believe this has turned into a cash grab, the developer of this app missed a great opportunity by being greedy. I’d consider paying $0.50 to a $1 per month or $10 per year for the ability to see up to date secondary pricing info but $3 per month or $25 per year? For that price there’s going to need to be some added features or benefits, I pay $1 per month for the OnlyDrams app because that $1 per month enters me into their allocated bourbon raffles. This will be the death of Bourbon Blue Book if they don’t adjust the subscription cost or consider adding monthly allocated raffles.

The website version was excellent and they got paid by sponsors putting ads on the page. Now with this app they want us to pay $3 a month!?!? No thank you. Everyone needs to use BoozApp now. It’s free. Don’t support these guys.

Blue Book you have to pay for
Wait until the next bourbon blue book company comes out free. Or use Unicorn Auctions to see what bottles are going for.

The website was good and I was really hopeful for the app. Having to create an account to use it though? Nah. This app ruined the website too. I can’t even search the blue book right now.

Upon signing up, you are asked to immediately sign up for a free trial with the ability to cancel at anytime before you have to start paying. Can’t even see what the site offers before signing up for the free trial. Doesn’t seem right. Logged out…for good.
Cash grab disappointment
This used to the the go to for evaluations. Unfortunately, they have now opted to fully monetize (because full screen advertising revenue wasn’t enough). Immediately requires paid membership and they removed the online option that was so functional before. Extremely disappointing.

It needs to be cheaper or free. People use this app to find bourbon at a good price. They are already spending a good amount of their earnings to buy special bottles.

Too expensive
The app is way too expensive. I could see paying $1 a month or $10 a year most. Everyone already has too many subscriptions to deal with this day in age. There should at least be an option to use the app for free with ads if there must be a charge. Very disappointing.

Not Worth the Price
Was disappointed to see this go from a free service on their website to a paid app. As others have said, the price to value is just not there. It’s also been really buggy so, while it was helpful during the Fall drop season, I’m probably not gonna stick with it for much longer.
