I did a report on a vehicle trusting this app since all mvds were closed and it came back the vehicle was good and nothing was wrong or pending. Turns out the next day I went to the mvd it had a lien and wasn’t able to put it in my name because the person who sold it to me got locked up. I got scammed out of my money because I can not do anything now.
So far all info is incorrect
Just purchased and went to search my 4 cars and the little bit of info I get is wrong. The rest is just blank. Hoping there’s an easy fix. If so, I’ll update my review.
Nothing amazing
It shows you what most sites already show you for free, but the thing that really is annoying, is you sign up for the trail- you have to EMAIL THEM to cancel before it renews at full price, and they don’t send an email reminding you (like any decent company). Pretty disappointing.

Problem with cancellation
Don’t buy it. I just needed one report, paid 1 dollar for it but they subscribed me to a monthly plan with 7 day trial period and now they charged $29.78 without even confirming. I had received no email about my trial period. It’s a scam unless they refund me as I have already emailed.

I used once for a car purchase and it said “one-time” payment and literally charged me for several months on end. Who would pay $29 a month for this service? It’s stupid. Re-design your app and the world at purchases are charged and maybe you’d have higher ratings.
Works but doesn’t
Saved me from buying one car but missed on 4/5 cars , the history of owner, accidents, etc. It’s just too inaccurate. And try stopping your ‘auto’ subscription. It’s actually prompt #1 on their answering service. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Scamming application
They will make u subscribe for a service that you can go find for free any where else. Nothing special about this app. It is super hard to cancel and i was billed 30$ today. I had to talk to an agent just to cancel my account…….

They charge you without your consent. I do not recommend it. It is a bad application.
Money grab
This app’s developers use loopholes to make you think you payed $1 but they are charging you for a hidden subscription. When you try to cancel there is no direct link and are directed to call them. When you call it says “can not complete request” and starts over.
Scam practice
I cancelled within the time frame and this company repeatedly tried to charge my apple CASH for service I unsubscribed from. They did this for 2 months straight.

This app/ company is horrible!! Very much a bait and hook. They provided absolutely no information on the vehicle I was looking up, I ended up going back to carfax to get said information. Then when you try to cancel the membership (that is not free!!!), it is nearly impossible!!! I found it easier to report to my CC as fraud then it was to get them to cancel the account. Buyer beware. Not worth the price
Paid for the 3 month subscription and out it the 20 or so vehicles I searched there was very little detail. Was unable to use this app to make a decision at all. Had to rely on dealer providing a report from carfax or auto check. Cancelled subscription.
Malicious subscriptions
Process is deliberately convoluted and can only be preformed through a phone call unless you subscribed through iOS, and they accounted for this by making subscriptions through iOS more expensive.
Should be a button on website or app that allows you to unsubscribe like every other modern company’s webpage.

Not what I expected
Paid 1$ for their services when I had my car towed near Chicago hoping they’d be able to locate my vehicle with the license plate. I was wrong they had no information where the vehicle was and I’m being sent txt messages saying I’m being charged 22.99$. If you ever have the problem of being towed, just call 911.
Impossible to cancel and doesn’t work
Gave me wrong info on a car I wanted and even after I called to cancel they still charged my card and I couldn’t even use the app anyways!

never accurate
most times i check a vin number i never get accurate information on the car. even for listings that say that they’re salvaged or had accidents bumper will tell me that everything is clean and its not just once in a while it seems like its for every car that ive checked. especially when paying so monthly it seems like im paying for absolutely nothing since it doesnt work. and the app also constantly crashes

If you purchase a subscription they don’t tell you how to cancel, go to their page press customer support (It doesn’t force you to talk to someone) then press cancel account

Do not trust this site the information on here is misleading. Said the car had 40k miles in august 2021 but the car had way over 100k in august 2021.

What a headache! And they continued.
So, I purchased the subscription back in December 2023, used it, and followed the procedure to cancel the subscription. After being charged another month, I followed the directions again, making sure did it correctly.
Thought all is well, and then it was taken out of my bank account again. I called their support line, and talk to someone who said they were in customer service. They tell me that it won’t be taken out any longer, and that the subscription has actually been canceled camp, sorry for your problems. Feeling very satisfied , now that I had actually spoke to someone there, it wouldn’t be happening anymore.. next month rolls around and I’m debited again. tried to call the customer support, and for some reason after almost a dozen attempts of it ringing and hanging up, I realized that someone had possibly blocked me, or as it was told probably blocked my number. I contact the card services and explain my situation and a verified through a force all the action, so they tell me they blocked my vendor from being able to ever have any type of debit on this card again. Overwhelmed, I think that person is very much and forgot about it. Then I see something come in and they declined it, and then another account with the same exact name, debit the amount, five minutes later and had opened a different window or way of debiting my account. Furious I my card and they tell me at this point I can’t do anything because it’s a pending transaction even though they had told me on the call a month prior it would never happen again, that I would have to wait till it was done being pending, and the transaction was final. to say, I’m having trouble with this card carrier not taking responsible action and letting this happen. Also, these people I hope I’m using the right word! Continue with their business practices of debiting and account where the subscription has been canceled twice and customer support verified once and here. I am out 100 bucks later, and more than likely they will try it again. Ladies gentlemen, beware. This is the never ending problem unless you happen to be in the business and need car report every month. To all others who are looking just to get a good vehicle that hasn’t been trashed in put back on the market. Stay away from this site. Beware.

Malware at its finest
Website baits you offering “free vin check”. Said vin check takes about 5 minutes to load and then after waiting you are prompted to choose a subscription option. After waiting 5 minutes I figured I might as well just pay, after paying Bumper says they don’t have any information on the vehicle. Total bait and switch, saying I need to pay to get the info but then they don’t have any. They make it extremely hard to cancel. Can’t warn you enough to NOT buy this app.

I paid the $20, asked it for VIN info and it gave me the specs. No history on the car. Nothing but the basics. Save your money. I got more from a Google search than this paid app delivers. I canceled my subscription 5 minutes in. Huge waste of money.

So I was trying to get my vin number for Honda civic and I came across this website. It had 3 options, $1 $3 and $5 subscription. I chose the $1 subscription which allowed me 50 reports I think. Then a couple days later I’m randomly being charged with 22.99 on my card and I only thought I was paying $1. So now I want out and now have realized they made it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to cancel my membership, but somehow the opportunities to Upgrade your membership are in your face all day.
Zero customer support
I did a trial membership. Numerous attempts to contact customer support to discontinue my association with this company, there is not a human being only a chat bot. Further to chat, but does not respond or understand the text. Seems you’re in this for life. Request for a refund or rebate where it’s always denied. This does not provide values for RVs. Therefore it is of no benefit. Stay away
No longer compatible with iPhone
I have to let you know I’ve used this app for a long time and loved it. I work in the auto hail repair industry and all my reps use it. Until now. In the last month there seems to be a glitch and I can no longer scan a VIN or manually enter a license plate number without getting an error. We used to use it to find the value of a vehicle but now it is useless. I have sent several messages to tech support and their response is to use chrome operating system. If you are not compatible with iPhone, you shouldn’t have an app in the Apple App Store. Steer clear of this one till they fix the bug. My next message will be to Apple.
Multiple cancellations
Had to cancel through phone when I was randomly billed Dec of 2023 and Jan of 2024 even when cancelled. Mind you I used the app once signed up $1 free trial of nov 2022 to be billed $20 by the a.i that pulled up nothing for a vehicle check, so I cancelled then. And somehow reactivated my account through another free trial?

I like most people probably only needed to use this once. Was hard to find how to cancel my trial/subscription and rather than just push a button you have to call or email. Pretty obnoxious.

Considering you have to call and wait hours for their customer service line just to cancel something you had no idea was a monthly reoccurring bill is quite ridiculous. But alright I guess.

Only way to cancel the subscription is to call or email them. No email given when membership is about to renew and overall seemed like they were just trying to be a “hidden subscription” that goes unnoticed as they bleed your wallet.

They make you think they gonna charge you a dollar at the beginning and when they get your credit card you’re fukd they keep charging you even if you didn’t use their service or didn’t subscribe they will still charge you
