Malfunctions
This app is BAD when I say BAD i mean their reservation service does not work and they took €20 after telling me all my rides were canceled and now they REFUSE to give me my €20 back after weeks and weeks of customer service not listening to my case. Maybe they took my money so they can use it to update the system but I don’t even think so. I cannot emphasize enough, do NOT use them just use uber it will be cheaper more reliable and all around better. Dont attach a card it will have money stolen from it.
Be ready to wait
Prices are cheap but the estimated pickup time is just a flat out lie. Be ready to see “driver 4min away” just to wait 15min to be paired with a driver 22min away.

The app first assigned us a driver who woke us up with a call at 4AM for our 6AM taxi saying he was waiting for us. Then we were directed to a meeting spot in an area restricted to taxis. Since Cabify uses regular drivers without taxi licenses, he could not drive to the pick up point, so we had to haul our luggage a long distance to the point where the driver was. The driver then charged us a late fee for making him wait!? I would not use this app again.

Traumatic Experience in Madrid
The driver kicked our family including a 6 year old girl in the middle of a dangerous busy street. During the ride to Atocha train station, he said 5 EUR cash extra, okay? I said “No cash.” He kept repeating then got angry and stopped in the middle of the road and would not move until we handed him cash or got out. We had a train to catch so we felt our best choice was to hurry and find another cab. This was extortion which is illegal. Our girl seems a bit traumatized so we’re monitoring her. Cabify needs to screen their drivers better. This man is insane and should not be driving.

SCAM!! Show that the ride is 15 euros , so I booked it. It charges me 30 euros. No one picked up the order and it just doesn’t show in the app. Thought I would get my refund, but no I did not. Now I just lost 30 euros for no reason. Oh yeah and a driver scammed me too. Charged me twice the amount of money that he was supposed to receive. WTF.

When the driver was about 5 minutes away, he picked up another passenger, moved farther away from my location, and added another 10 minutes to the ETA. I canceled because he was getting farther away, not closer. I was still charged and told I didn’t cancel within the 3-minute window.
How is this fair when the delays were caused entirely by the drivers? Drivers clearly know they can get away with this because Cabify supports them instead of the customer.
I will not use this app again. It may be a bit cheaper, but it’s not trustworthy.

Beware of scamming cab drivers
The prices are good for a reason. I don’t feel confident in catching any more cabs with this company. I pre-booked a cab for my tour the night before. The driver was supposed to arrive at 12:45pm and he arrived well after 1pm and decided to park several blocks from my hotel hoping that I wouldn’t make it to him within the five minute grace period. Surprise surprise, I did! I made it to. I’m just in time and had his door open telling him that he is my driver while he was lying to my face saying that he wasn’t. I already took a screenshot when he marked that he arrived several blocks from my hotel. So when I was there arguing with him and he pretended that it wasn’t his car and he was an Uber driver, I took a picture of his license. They charged me several fees for his thievery, and I’m in the process of getting my money back right now. The GPS shows that man was not at my hotel and they have access to that. I even showed him the same fat man in the picture on the app that clearly was him with the same license plate and of course, because he doesn’t speak English, he thought that he would just get away with it. I was already reaching out to Cabify about you, Anderson Alexis and gave a few choice words in his native language.
Worst experience ever
Tried this after arriving in Madrid, thinking this may be better than Uber since it’s local. Boy was I wrong. We are a family of 6 with several bags so I booked a Van. But the car sent to me was a Mercedes SUV. It’s clearly not big enough. I talked to the driver waiting in the Cabify designated area at the airport who told me it’s ok to cancel. I cancelled the ride, there was absolutely no information on if or how much will I be charged for the cancellation. After an hour, I got an email saying I was charged for the full amount of 45 euros. That’s shocking so I tried to communicate via customer support, it took one day for me to get a response each time, and after a few rounds and several days of back and forth, all I got was a 5 euros voucher for future ride. Deleted the app right away. I would give it zero star if I could.
Encourages unsafe driver behavior
Driver constantly interrupts drivers with ride requests while they’re supposed to be driving. The “Cabify” sound is also very annoying.

Estuve esperando un chofer mas de 10 minutos y me cancelo y luego me cobraron. Hable con una Leidi Suarez que me ofrecio nada de ayuda y no me quizo dar el reembolso luego de que le explique lo que paso. Nada de compasión al cliente, en vez castigan al cliente luego de que sus choferes te cancelan.
App con BUG después de la última actualización
No se puede usar cupones de descuento después de la última actualización del 5 de noviembre, hay un BUG no permite agregar ningún cupón en cuentas nuevas

Referral is a scam
I installed this app by referral link but it kept saying that the code was invalid. Help was not available at the time and I could not wait, so I made a trip. Now I cannot use that referral code because I already made a trip and the code is only for new customers. The rest seems fine, the ride was good.
Worst service in existence
Would you like to wait 30 minutes to be assigned a driver who drives aimlessly around the city for another 30 minutes and never makes it to you? Use this app. Would you like to request a ride when it says 6 minute ETA, and then have it never assign you a driver? Use this app.

Cabify is the single worst transportation app I have ever used. I have used apps in Indonesia, Malaysia, and everywhere else. Cabify drivers will park far enough away from you that you can’t get there, rack up the “waiting fee” and then just leave you with no ride. I’m on crutches wiht a serious injury and I was late to the hospital because of this. I was late to class because of this. Not to mention they get lazy with the droop off and leave you a few blocks away. I’m living in Madrid and has overall been a terrible experience. Stick with uber.
Bogus fees. Hard to get.
Charges bogus fees. I was not late. I was outside when the driver arrived yet I was charged 4 minutes in wait fees. It was either the app malfunctioning or the driver cheating the system. Support is useless. Over two days and no response. Do not trust this app. Also very hard to get a driver. (Used in Spain)
Their security response is the worst
The driver kidnap me in the car for a while and the response of the support team was non existent.
They Didn't Show Up!
I booked a day in advance for Barcelona Airport and at the time the driver was supposed to be at my hotel on the day of departure, I received a notification saying they didn't have any drivers available. Unacceptable!
Phone number not accepted
I can create an account because when I add my phone number I get an error (without any explanation) even though my phone number is correct and use the right prefix.
Cabify: a great way to get stranded
Cabify is an average ridesharing app; it uses device GPS data to match passengers with nearby drivers. However, a highly aggressive anti-fraud algorithm will often ban passengers from using the app after their first ride. Customer service will demand photos of your passport and the card you paid with, but will still copy and paste the same response to inform you that you've been banned... and they never respond within a day regardless of urgency, time of day, or day of the week. If you need help, they'll ignore you like everyone else... after you get where you're going. To get home, you'll have to do what you should have done in the first place... which is to use a better ridesharing app.

Can't delete my account
The app worked fine in the country I was visiting. I'm back home and I'm not able to delete the app, along with my personal information. When you click on the "delete account" it says "sorry to see you go... " etc. But the only button available is to chat with a bot that offers you two options, neither of which is to delete your account and all your data. The "right to be forgotten" is an essential data privacy right in Europe and in the USA, Canada, etc. You need to fix this.
Advanced booking for children and grandmother canceled last minute. Shame on you.
The title says it all. I called uber on the spot, 2 cars showed up in 5 minutes.
Terrible App
I can no longer access my account, and have absolutely no way to talk to an actual person to get this resolved. The company is terrible, the app is terrible.
Bad customer service
Don’t use this service. I reserved a taxi for transport from Barcelona airport. The driver couldn’t help me locate him and cancelled the ride when I was minutes within reaching him. They still charged me baseline fare of 50 euros. I contacted customer service and they won’t issue a refund.

Cancelation fee
I made a reservation for a ride. I wanted to change the pick up time, but it didn’t allow me to make the change. I thought about cancelling the reservation, but it would charge cancellation fee (the app didn’t warn me about the cancellation fee when I made the reservation.)

Unreliable service
I reserved a cab to the airport days in advance for early in the morning. Checked regularly and in the reservation a driver was assigned. Few minutes before the pick up the driver canceled and because of the time there was no other driver available to get me there. I missed my flight.

While uber in Madrid is super quick, no matter if you are in suburbs, Cabify just literally doesn’t work. It says: in 7 min, but you never even get a car assigned. Really bad experience.
dont use in alicante spain
cabify was awful -could not find the guy and after about 7 min. cancelled at the train station -he was not helpful on how to find him. I should have used uber or cab- the cab was half the cost and much less irritating. all in all I would not recommend using this service in Spain it just doesn't work well and there are plenty of other options. seems like a giant rip off.

Cannot change the phone number associated with email. Using web goes in circles.

This app is unusable. You have to enter each adress manually no way to copy/paste. Whoever designed this app should be ashamed of themself

Any Norwegian number fails , with no error message. Support responded with some random link several days after I left Spain. Good Luck fellas!
Not reliable
I booked IN ADVANCE a cabify for my elderly parents and the app and driver showed that the cab was close by but they arrived nearly 30 minutes late and did not respond to my inquiries for the delay.
This was the ONLY ride that dis not offer tl me the option to rate driver. Customer Support did also not allow me to rate the driver and did nothing to resolve the issue. I am very unhappy with this app. I had been taking 4 cabifies a day until this point with a few issues that do not compare to this. I would not trust cabify with traveling of a loved one again.

No pickup spot at Barcelona Sants Train station
Pickup spot does not exist at Barcelona Sants train station. Couldn’t find it anywhere even with instructions on how to get to it from Cabify. Took longer than getting a cab right out front of the train station and it was the same price. Someone needs to fix the instructions or just get an uber which works in Barcelona. Taxi price was the same as Cabify and there terrible app. 30 minutes later and customer support hasn’t responded. Awful support
It works until you need them
This app is terrible. I forgot a pair of AirPods and realized immediately, while the driver was leaving, I opened the app to let him know, just to find out that there’s no way to do that.
I contacted customer service, explained that time was of essence and they took as long as they could to reply stuff that was copy pasted from a script.
They explained they would do everything they could but that it was my responsibility: aka we do not care about your AirPods and we won’t help you with it.
They said they tried contacting the driven, but it was not true.
I ended up send a message to my AirPods and the driver contacted me that way. It was his last time driving for Cabify for some reason.

The drivers claim that they’ve arrived even of they’re not in sight. They choose the pick up location, not the customer. So they milk the wait time and pretend like they’re just waiting for you. Then you get charged extra for them “waiting” Cabbies can be pretty dishonest. Be careful! Curb/Lyft/Uber provide better accountability for drivers. Also…GPS location is horrible with finding drivers.

Wont accept my phone number
The app wont accept my phone number. Not sure how the business can function if they can’t get the simplest part of registering right. Will try again later and update, but I guess I’ll have to use Uber which I don’t like but at least the app works. Update: customer support says they only support Spanish numbers. Amazing how incompetent Cabify must be to not anticipate visitors may not have access to a local phone number.

There are never any drivers!
We got one driver when we first arrived downloaded the app, but after that it would say a driver is nearby and then search for 10+ minutes without ever finding us a driver. So frustrating. Don’t tell us there are drivers if there actually aren’t any. It couldn’t find us a taxi either even though it said there were plenty nearby. What a waste of app storage on my phone.
