What the heck happened?
I thought I bought a version of this years ago to be able to use a unique skin layout. But for the most part it was free! Now it isn’t free anymore. Not only that, you can’t just outright pay for it, they want to add you to a subscription. What?! To use a calculator?! I just don’t understand how they want to nickel and dime a person for everything!
Crashes constantly after new update
This is a calculator that charges you a weekly subscription to use it! A calculator 😂.

Too expensive
App used to be reasonably priced, 60 bucks a year is ridiculous, I wouldn’t even pay 20 bucks a year for this, should be 10-15 one time payment
Missing Calculator
While the app is on my screen when I try to open the app nothing happens. I must go to the App Store and tap open. It remains open to use but I soon as I close the app. It will not open again until I go to the App Store again. Where is the operating system when I close the app…. Only at the App Store??

App has broken few times with the line showing and features not working properly… support via app is not working properly can’t even submit ticket 2nd time happening last time thy fixed it with a software update but here we are again…

When I’m in the middle of a problem it switches to games and is difficult to get back to what I was doing.
Misleading “free” option
This is a decent enough calculator on its own. However, you will be prompted to subscribe for a monthly fee (for a calculator?) or choose the “free” option. But “free” is only free for 3 days and then you will be charged. There is an ad supported version, but they make that option difficult to locate.
Obnoxious
Immediate full screen ad. Deleted within seconds of opening.
Free trial period different than stated in app description/ details
App description and details state 1 month free trail, then usd5.99 weekly fee. Confirmation email from apple state 3 day free trial, then usd5.99 weekly fee. If one misses the email and does not check cc charges during the 1 month - surprise billings for each week starting 3 days after downloading!
Apple denied refund claims and on appeal, except for prorating on the current billed week.
Emails to developer yielded standard replies referring me back to Apple for refunds. Follow-up email- no reply.
Also, some weeks are post billed, meaning if the cc charge is posted after the week has already completed ( rather on the 1st day of the weekly period) , a refund for the week is denied.

No additional functionality, but it does stream ads constantly. Dystopian to have ads playing while using something as simple as a calculator.

Obnoxious hard sell to upgrade
Every time I open this app it tries to trick me into upgrading to the $6 per month ad-free version! So it is free, but in such a nasty obnoxious way that I cannot stand it anymore. It’s a shame because it was not always so bad. Deleting it and moving on to something user friendly…

* But also since latest App update, even worse in non-full screen, the calculation entry line is totally cut-off, only the previous result (after =) line below it remains. CAN NOT SEE WHAT NUMBERS YOU ARE ENTERING WHILE YOU ENTER THEM.
* Glad Apple finally provides their own Calculator now, but this one still useful in situations, especially as Widget (*IF* Widget actually would respond without lag/delay).

Recently not great
I’ve used this app for nearly a decade and it’s never disappointed. However, after they overhauled the app there’s a delay of about 10-30 seconds to get into the app upon launching. I’m assuming it’s to check if my subscription is valid (I pay yearly it shouldn’t check every time). By the time I get into the app I forget what I’m trying to calculate. The ability to open a support request within the app is also broken. Please do better I hate the default calculator.
