Horrible game
The most poorly balanced strategy game I have ever played in my life. Do not play this Chinese garbage.
Game mode quality
The quality of the game has been degraded over time, the game no longer feels like open field battle, but more like bastion battles and city hoppers to annoy you. I would not recommend anyone to play the game, not worth it.
Troll Heaven, terrible community
I have played this genre for years. I have never seen a game more ripe for griefing trolls. Basically your first server is going to die down to one alliance. If you are stuck with bad leadership you are stuck and have wasted any time and money you have invested. I am trapped by a low class group of sexist man children grief anyone not wanting to join them. I regret wasting my time on this version of the genre when there are so many with healthy communities.
Not very f2p friendly
It took me about 3 years of free-to-play to get my troops to the highest level (Tier 5). And now I still can’t compete very well; because there are a lot of spenders/whales, who are way more advanced and powerful. It is a waste of time and money, (if you spend).

I’m tired of fake ads
I downloaded this game because I saw advertisement for an undead class. It sounded cool and I thought I’d give it a try, however, when I started to play, I realized that no undead faction was in the game unless you count the enemies, the darklings. I am sick and tired of developers using fake ads, you should be ashamed of yourselves and the game because apparently it’s not good enough to be truthful.
For those wanting to download the game for the city builder and fighting aspect, it’s just the same as the other’s out there.

I dont know why this has a 4.8 rating on the app store but this game is a money TRAP! You all should stay away, the imbalance between f2p and P2w is just too big dont even try downloading this game. Played this game for almost 3 years spent more than 10k and Game is now dying and its developers are trying to squeeze out every penny they can from the whales. You have been warned

5 week review
If you not spending 30$ a week you can not only expect to not be able to fight behemoths. But after about 5 weeks even basic chests arent obtainable alone. Even after buying both monthly passes. Rare open world chests have begun requiring a team. It is clear the game isnt playable without whales. As the game progresses it has shown that even with 40 players fighting a behemoth as the behemoths difficulty also increases. That unless you are spending a lot of money. Youll be 2 hit by basic attacks. So the game fools you into playing. Then coherses you to spend money in order to do anything other than literally fight basic open world basic darklings that spawn around your base *deleted
Worst customer support, worst money hungry app
This game had potential, but the current migration and alliance mechanics have ruined it. Right now, a single powerful alliance can seize a server, and the 'King' has the power to block anyone stronger from migrating in. It’s a closed-loop system that protects big spenders from actual competition.
If you get kicked from the top alliance, there is zero protection. They can 'zero' your power, steal your unprotected resources, and effectively exile you from the map because you can't teleport or move through passes without alliance territory. Why even have a migration system if the people currently in power get to 'approve' their own rivals?
You should allow full alliances to migrate together to challenge these 'dead' servers. Until the devs fix the gatekeeping and give players a way to fight back against server monopolies, this isn't a strategy game-it’s just a farm simulator for people who are afraid to lose. This game is bad to top it off with constant updates that change gameplay for the worst. Can’t trust them at all. Worst of the worst and the most dismal no supportive service ever had to work with.

The Youtube ad makes it look like a completely different game. This is just a bunch of mini games where battles only involve telling your characters which direction to go as they autofight. Most of the time you have to wait to play the game because you have to update your base to progress, which takes real-world hours for your builders to complete… of course, you can speed it up with real-world money.
The devs are greedy
I just went from season 1 to season 2. The devs give little to nothing for the money you spend in season 1 then multiply your needs by 5 in season 2. So you have to spend more or struggle more. Guaranteed stuff isn’t.
Garbage money grab
Trash dead game only play if you can spend 100k usd else you will get wrecked everywhere they have mods running the server with insane power levels to make other people spend in the game
Developer greed killed the game
Patch after patch horrible new things are added behind a paywall. These things cost either 10k USD or 20years for F2P to get. First it was the pets that only people who spend thousands of dollars can get. Then the SVIP which after 2 years of playing I am still millions of points away from. Then city reliquary where you can get 15% in all stats that is only possible to get if you pay thousands. Finally the nail was the decoration reliquary giving 25% stats costing 10K USD or 20 years F2P. The greed makes this game unbearable and it’s not even fun to play anymore. There used to be tactics but now you get brute forced by whoever spends more money. Communities in the discord and socials complained and nothing is ever done they just add another thing you have to pay for.

I’ve played this game for 2 years since the beginning. I have now quit. The devs continue to make this game more pay to win and further push the power imbalance to those who spend an insane amount of money on this game. Unless you plan to waste a lot of money on a phone game to compete. STAY AWAY.

What makes these games so horrible is they’re paid to play. I can’t stand these games. I like the old days where you just bought the CD and that’s it. You play the whole game without giving them a dime now with these game apps you gotta pay them every time you’re playing it’s so ridiculous. but the best thing you can do is delete it, which I just did - so long dragons. and the worst thing you can’t control the fighting. All you do is walk , and the graphics look pretty dull not as bright.
Ripping off from other games with p2w features
I returned after 2 years to see how this game developed. They introduced p2w decoration ripped from Whiteout Survival yet catered to whales only. You have a player retention problem and do this. Hot fix immediately. It should be obtainable by playing the game. And offer different types of buffs. Make it community feature that balances already bloated disparity between p2w and f2p/low spenders. If you are going to copy someone else’s features at least do it right. Like they did.
Hardcore or go home
If you’re not willing to spend atleast 12+hours a day or spend cash on this game, you will only survive by joining random alliances, don’t make your own due to the disgusting way people can expand their territory to every behemoth completely blocking your access to any and all content in the region they start you in.

The pay to win gap in this game has widened so much. At the beginning it wasn’t as significant and devs just continued to get more and more money hungry it’s insane.

I do recommend there’s one problem. I have waiting for everything to upgrade takes way too long. What are you supposed to do when something takes two days to upgrade or 34 days whatever and you need to upgrade to move on and you can only kill so many you can only get into so many battles before your CPS runs out unless you wanna spend money then you can be number one

Call of Dragon’s files are very large and take up a lot of phone storage. Game is laggy upon first launch. It is aggressively monetized and will ask you to spend money almost immediately.
General Gameplay
I just wanna play the game. I can’t even play the game because I need to build things before I can do anything again every time. Because of that I only get like 4minutes of gameplay per day…. So I don’t even play anymore like that… but when I do try after something finally builds I get one short play then have to wait 10hrs for something else again. What’s the point of all the nice graphics and everything if you can’t even play the game!?

Fun, but...
I feel like the game devs had ADHD wen they made this game, trying to combine too many game styles into one game. There's no need for half of the "features" and seems like very quickly it will become pay to play because off all the different things they want you to do all at the same time. If it was just town building and main story line, or main story and character development it would be much better in my opinion. I'm deleting the game because it's all over the place.
