Why is the fax not letting me pay for recharge funds. So complicated I’m not impressed as first time user

When you try to send it through Outlook, it pulls up the email so far out of line that the send button is cut off by the battery icon, basically making this entire app totally useless for me and anyone that uses it for work. Why even keep it on the App Store if you’re not going to keep it working properly? I’m so tired of these companies.

Watermark and premium subscription service even though I paid a dollar for this app, I know that seems unworthy of a complaint but I still didn’t expect it to be the exact same as another free app but for a dollar

App update forcing me to sign in again, but not receiving security via email… checked both inbox & spam folders

I paid for this app in the past. Now they’ve updated and you must start paying a yearly subscription or a month to month to access your documents. I really enjoyed the app but now all my documents are being held for ransom until I pay for the access I’ve already paid for to remove them all and choose another platform.

Continues to request money for services, after paying, cannot send a fax, overly complicated, they trick you into giving them more money.

After the most recent iOS update the app does not work properly. When I take screenshot and try to import it into CamScanner

I don’t understand, I’m trying to save a pdf and I still have to purchase a subscription to save it. What is the whole point of the app purchase in the first place???

This use to be a great app. I’ve had this app for years and it has started giving me problems over this last year. Idk what happened. I cannot fax. It gives me no option. It shows I have 63 pages that I can fax but yet, app will not let me do anything at all. This needs fixing bc I paid for annual subscription of CamScanner Premium. This needs to be fixed now . There is no way to contact anyone about this app. They have no support.

When I go to print my scanned document it shrinks down and won’t adjust

This applicatiin crashes at iphone 6

I’ve had this app for several years and have used it a lot. Two days ago I got a new phone all
My files appeared on the new phone and I used the app several times yesterday. Today, my CamScanner files are gone and I’m asked to set up an account as if I have never used the app. WTH?

I bought the plus version specifically and only to get rid of the stupid annoying infuriatingly obnoxious water mark. They updated the app and put it back in the plus version!!! Not amused. Not amused at all.

I purchased this app so I can fax but it does not allow you to under the basic but it doesn’t tell you that when you purchase it. I don’t need a monthly fee I don’t mind paying for the fax pages but it doesn’t even do that!! I want my money back!!

This app is trouble. Worked fine when I bought it. After the auto renewal, I can’t use the app. It keeps prompting me to upgrade. Every time I try to use it, it wants me to buy it Again. Hours on the phone with Apple, a chain of email correspondence with CamScanner support, nothing has changed. Forget a phone call to CamScaner, that’s not possible. They need to rename this app CamScamner.

I don’t have the option to pay for a fax anymore???

Doesn’t seem like you can send pdfs without creating an account. Dealbreaker.

OCR option is no where in sight on main menu! Faxing requires additional purchases, even though this the premium version it still has limits.

I really liked the Camscanner Pro app, but it no longer works & with no warning I LOST ALL OF MY DOCUMENTS !!! Now I am concerned the same thing will happen with camscanner plus

App is nearly unusable with all the ads and click baits since update

Cam Scanner was a pretty neat app that focused on great scans/captures using your phone or tablet, thus bridging the gap between a genuine scanner and an image or .jpg
I purchased Cam Scanner.
Now a subscription is required to access the same features that I and others already purchased.
And that’s where this review stops.
People! Customers! Users! Players!
Stop being ‘nice’ about subscriptions!
You’ve already paid for a thing, right? Why are you now being required to pay for it again?!
Because developers can get away with it?
This isn’t logical, reasonable or feasible anywhere in the world or society unless you happen to be in the business of cement boots and breaking things with baseball bats. Even then, it isn’t OK. It’s just something someone who’s bigger than you can get away with, for now.
Developers:
Great, amazing, inspiring, awesome apps are created with drive, passion, purpose and vision, not with complacency and a monthly fee. Even if an initial purchase is required, the user can rest easy knowing that the developer is working hard to make their creation even better and it is perfectly reasonable for the dev to request payments for upgrades.
It isn’t reasonable to expect users to pay a never-ending fee for something that may be great one day, but just not today.
Have the courage to make something great and stop bowing to Apple’s latest greedy idea.

Isn’t working!can’t figure app out

Read the title of review...first off they charge a dollar to buy the app, then force a subscription on you...thanks for NOTHING CAMSCAM...back to ScanPro..dueces

i paid for the pro version because i needed to scan pdf documents to magic color, in free version it works properly, but in the paid version, i must go to batch edit mode and then it starts processing one by one, then it crashes! im totally unsatisfied for what i paid for !

This app used to be the gold standard of scanner apps. Now it’s garbage. Constant ads, unfriendly UI, nothing works smoothly any more. Gonna look for a replacement app.

OCR used to add the text on top of the PDF so you could ctrl+f through and find the correct portion of the document. Now the OCR will only export the text as a second document with NONE of the formatting. Unusable!

I needed to renew my subscription. I got a prompt for $35 annual subscription, but got charged $52. Misleading and a scam!

No response from developer regarding constant demands for login each time I open the app. Used it for years and have a subscription. Guess they don't care. Fine. There are lots of other scan apps.

The app crashes every time a scan a document . Please help.

I’ve loved this app! Now there’s a glitch of some sort. It goes Face ID crazy and then it shuts itself off. Please fix this! I don’t have access to my stuff.

I’ve had both CS & +CS now neither one of these apps will email at all!!

What you give them your phone number and they text you a code. They then proceed to insist that you sign up for “premium “ for something like $40 a year. Never got to see the actual app because I couldn’t get past the screen. People if you’re gonna make premium content. At least let us see so we know what we’re buying. I’m giving you a two stars because I know it’s difficult to get an app posted up on the App Store. And you’ve at least done that. But you need to offer some value to people.

Ever since my last update iOS 26.3.1 (23D8133)
It’s gotten glitchy and slow. It’s not the same reliable app it was before.
Not sure what to do?

This app is scam. Such a pitty the technology behind it has been really good for years, but charging a dollar just to have access to "OCR" without having the actual change of making conversions without a premium account, smells like a scam to me.

you removed the ability to sign on an app I already payed for just to ask for a subscription fee, I understand needing money which i willingly gave, but this is just messed up.
