I was charged $108 dollars for the service for one year, and I am seeing it advertised for $28.99 and for $40 dollars a year. I kinda feel like they ripped me off a little bit, I asked for a refund and they took for ever before they answered the bank complaint and they are telling the bank I waited to long to contact them, BS , I feel that I should be refunded for the difference between the two, but they didn’t offer that for a service that works when it feels like it. I would give them a no stars rating if it would let me. Bad service on Camtro to rip off the customer.

The picture and video is amazing the issue is it picks up if a leaf blows and doesn’t when there is actually someone at the door I have changed and switches the settings many times and still have issues . I would not recommend

Confused to why I was sent this kind of device
Why didn’t this doorbell camera that came for my replacement camera, that had an inside doorbell ring for the house. This doorbell camera only came with a doorbell camera to where it don’t give you the noise inside the house when the doorbell is rung. You only get phone notifications, I definitely don’t like this one what they replaced my product with.
Unsafe; Does not Pickup Detection
I have complained several times and even chatted with customer service. The camera does not pick up motion or detects all motion. I’ve had deliveries and people come to my house and I don’t see them on the camera but I can see them through my peephole. Not cool. I don’t know who’s coming to my home when I’m not there and I don’t live in a very safe community. I wish I could get a replacement
Turning settings off
I find it disturbing this can somehow shuts motion detection off and human detection off on its own!! Don’t waste your money on this junk camera

Severely Disappointed - Avoid this Company
I paid for six months of a Premium subscription on two doorbells through Camtro, but about halfway through, the subscription was removed from my account without any notification. As a result, both devices stopped recording video at a critical time-just before I left for a trip.
I immediately reached out to customer support, clearly noting the urgency. Nearly two weeks later, I have yet to receive any acknowledgment, despite multiple follow-ups. There is no accessible phone support, and overall communication has been nonexistent.
Between the lack of transparency, poor support, and unreliable service, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I strongly recommend investing your money with a company that values its customers and stands behind its product-this one does not.

Subscription
We shouldn’t have to pay to answer the door bell. I get paying to back up files to a cloud storage but for basic functions of the door bell camera is just being money hungry

It worked for a little bit but now I can’t get it to power on and it seems like it doesn’t want to charge. It’s supposed to be water resistant I don’t think it is because I had it outside and it rained on it, now it’s not working. I’m going to ask for a refund.

I bought this so I could keep an eye on my porch for packages, but it seems that the camera is no good without the cloud service! Camtro needs to step up their game, and allow consumers to use what they paid for without being bullied into buying cloud services.!

Dishonest company, for starters, you cannot see live feed. The only thing you see non stop is advertisements for you to subscribe to their services which I actually would subscribe to if I knew they were slightly honest. Even if you subscribe, it will only last for a short period of time.

Doorbell barely serves its purpose, app is scummy scam garbage. I’m paying $30/mo for a camera that only records motion every once in a while. Records dust and bugs flying in front of the camera all night but won’t record the 300+ people/cars that pass by it all day. Just spend a little more on a ring product, at least their corresponing apps actually work…
