I paid for a weekly subscription that didn’t work! The money came off my card but it’s not working in the app! Tried to reach out to customer service but still no luck. It was my first time purchasing something like this and now o regret it!

Worst app ever
When I first downloaded the app, it lets you watch one episode for free of a season, however, this subscriptions are $20 weekly or $79 annually which is more expensive than any other app like Netflix or Hulu. Then they had this option to buy coins to see a episode like buying an episode however, when you do buy coins, they charge per second of the film so when I bought eight dollars worth of coins, which were 250 coins, it was gone within four minutes of the episode and I didn’t get to watch this app is just money, hungry and is a scam.
App won’t load
Hard to give it any stars if the app doesn’t even open. Not sure if it’s specific to IOS. Disappointed and hope the issue is resolved or paying customers get refunds.

Hell I would even wait a few hours for a few episodes to unlock like the Galatea app. But nope you have to buy everything and buying individual episodes are not worth it. Too bad too since like I said they have some great dramas.

I have had the Galatea book app for 2 1/2 years and LOVE reading the books! I seen some of my favorite books turned into TV shows on this app and decided to check it out. Horrible mistake! The shows do not keep in line with the books at all with characters or events that happen in the books! I understand that you may not be able to find actors that are an exact match but at least try to get close! Like in one book the main character talks a lot about her love interest’s beautiful sticking blue eyes but the show has a person with brown eyes and when she has a dilemma with her boyfriend he was supposed to be the one to comfort her and take her home, that is not what happened in the show! It's like they didn't even read the dang book! This may not bother some of you but this stuff bothers me! I would suggest just either watch the show or read the book don't do both! It won't match up at all!

This update is trash. Why make everyone wait 24 hours for one episode VS. the five that’s been done for a while. 24 hours for one single 1 minute episode is crazy.

This app does not work, needs to get fixed just stays on the screen with the logo page. And to have a subscription it is $69.99 monthly that’s to much, it doesn’t have good content. Actors/actresses are mid it’s like I’m watching darman videos

The app doesn’t do anything but show the logo and they won’t let you watch episodes, that’s you have paid for on their website.
Dont do it unless you have money to spend
I like some of you found this app on Facebook claiming to have free stories, i have a few other book apps so i was expecting to have to earn points to unlock the next chapters or a video to unlock a few pages. Which is not great but dealable but this app makes you wait for 24 hours for one clip you have already seen no add option or anything else but to purchase more and the prices are absolutely crazy high I recommend a different app unless you have money to spend
App doesnt work
had no problem with the app before, but all of a sudden, after an update, it tells me error loading an episode and it doesn’t fix unless I delete and download the app again which only works for a day and then I have to do that all over again so not really worth using the app in the first place.

The stories are OK they are what you expect and if you’re into that thing, this is fine, however, the app itself is awful. It makes you wait. 24 hours for an episode that can be a short as 10 to 15 seconds. It’s a total scam if you have to wait at least 24 hours they should at least give you a minute worth of content! Not a financially viable option. Luckily most of the episodes are available on foreign video platforms for free.
Very disappointed
I love the movies but I don’t want to waste any more money when there are other apps that let me earn episodes. And every time I try to go watch my “free” episode, it plays the last episode I watched and won’t let me watch the next episode I’m supposed to be able to watch. And the episodes are extremely short. It’s just not worth it.
False advertising
I seen this app on TikTok and it claimed to be a free app where you can watch short movies I was so excited that I downloaded the app got knee-deep into a show just for it to say that you have to pay to watch the rest of it so disappointing. I would not recommend. And it's too bad that they have Actual good stories. But frankly, the stories are not worth the wait or the money because the prices are insane!!!

I got 300
coins and i used 50 for the next episode and it took all 300 and only let me watch one episode. Not the 6 episodes i should have gotten.

Buggy compared to other apps, but great with original selections
I don’t know if it’s just a me issue, but every time I’ve used the app so far, I am unable to unlock episodes that I did actually wait out. Some of my other general complaints:
- no ability to save series to a designated library like you would on similar apps or even on Galatea.
- position seems to save at the last free-unlocked episode, which is tedious even when you’re just two episodes past that
- can’t change the playback speed on episodes to help make them go faster. Not a huge deal, but minorly annoying as someone who is neurodivergent and utilizes that feature often.
Compliments:
- the selection is FANTASTIC. Well-edited, original stories (usually originating from Galatea, making it really good for drawing traffic between both apps) with actors who seem to know what they’re doing, and even though the tropes are there, they’re disguised better than other apps.
- the app is pretty easy to navigate and coins don’t seem to be hard to get (according to other reviewers, which is believable based on how easy they are to get on Galatea as well)
- guaranteed actual free episodes of you wait out the countdown. No “watch __ ads to unlock __ episodes” that ultimately last longer than the episode themselves like I find on other apps.

Insane prices & auto unlock not working.
The acting and plots for these shorts are amazing. Unfortunately after watching maybe 8 episodes u have to wait 24 hours to unlock one single episode at a time. The alternative would be to subscribe but subscriptions are $70. That is an outrageous price for shorts but without paying the $70 you honestly would take almost two months to unlock a full story which is ridiculous. I also put my stories on auto-lock so that I won't have to go in the app everyday and manually unlock the new episode. Even with auto unlocked on im still stuck at the same episode and it's not auto unlocking. This is very disappointing.
Scam ad
Ad said that there would be two months free but it doesn’t tell you that you have to wait a day to watch an episode so the movie takes about two months of watching 3 minutes per day.
Doesn’t Play
Purchased the unlimited however unable to play the episode as if it is frozen. Can not skip episode etc. took my money, says I can not get a refund etc. all within the first 15 minutes. Scam clearly

The cost for just a week is insane. The episodes are less than a minute and it hooks you. But man is it expensive

You can’t download the app to an Amazon tv, and it won’t let you screen mirror the app to your tv. When in the app it offers “coins” to watch its “episodes“ the coins cost 10x more through their app than the browser on the tv. Even using the less costly browser for coins and it ended up costing $20 to finish one of their movies I had started, which tbh wasn’t all that great. If you don’t want an annual subscription, it doesn’t offer a monthly. Instead it offers a WEEKLY subscription that’s 19.99. This whole thing is a rip off, especially for the quality. Save your money.
Not all they hype it to be
I’ve watched my share of vertical shorts and some of the apps deserve a shout out but this one, you guys (creators) have got to be nuts if you think most people would pay $150 to watch your content.
At least with the other platforms, they allow you to earn coins and come back and watch it without getting a subscription. But I see you guys are way too cheap to do that. If anybody is actually reading this review, I would suggest you find a hack to get into their platform and watch them without paying. I’m sure there’s somebody out there that knows how to hack into this.

Ugh
I just wish they had a weekly option. It's only giving a year option!
Keeps. Freezing
I love the app but it keeps freezing and not counting down so I can watch the next episodes. Keeps saying something is wrong. I’m tired of deletes to re add for it to work 1 or 2 times and do it again they need to fix this
One Episode Per Day!?!
You all used to unlock multiple episodes every 24 hours. Now we have to wait 24 hours for a one minute video or pay a high priced subscription. Not cool at all.
Horrible App, Decent Content
Horrible search functionality within the app. The shows don’t list the actors so you can’t search shows by other actors. You also can’t search shows by genre. They have a ton of content but you can’t find it unless it’s on the home page or you know its exact name. No PIP. Often if you leave the app before finishing a show it won’t show up in “continue watching.”
App stuck on 1st use
App stopped working the first time I ever visited this app. Why would I pay for that?
$20 a WEEK
I waited the 14 hours to watch the next episode and it won't let me- but it will still let me pay $20 a week or buy the episodes (and when the episodes are a minute who can really justify that). Also somehow more expensive than dating apps?? Just let me watch 50 ads I'll do it 😩
Horrible
I literally kept trying to watch the videos every day and it would not let me and it said wait and I was connected to the Internet and everything and it was not working and it made me miss so many episodes and now I have 23 hours until I can watch the next one, and I already watched the one before it and I was supposed to watch the one that’s making me wait
Coins and top up
I think there needs to be a way for users to earn coins while there waiting for the episode I’m sure no one wants to wait 21 hours and also some people can’t afford to top up I just think there needs to be a way to earn the coins
Good but expensive
Instead of being able to pay monthly you have to pay yearly which puts the total to at least 70.00. Then ever time you pay for an episode the amount doubles every time. The episodes are great as I watching kyna graced but still the monetary usage is crazy

The amount to use weekly vs yearly is so odd. Also I wish if we were paying by episode it was a bit more cost friendly. Other than that the story lines are nice! I do wish eps are longer tho. Also I wish you could see more in the screen lol
Not worth it
No option for adds to get coins scenes are under 2min each and have to wait 10 hrs after a couple of them.
