Bad printer app
Why does my printer app ask me to enable notifications and to pay for a subscription service. This app is set up like one of those mobile game ads. This is depressing and a multibillion dollar corporation should not be putting ts slop on the apple App Store.
Your new landscape mode sucks
Your new landscape options sucks especially trying to print out batches because there’s no options photo to be printed normal this is really bad for people like me who write books for a living and need the print on an 8.5” x 11 piece of paper the right way. If I print out nine piece pieces of paper and I to print the right way the next eight have now gone to landscape mode and there’s nothing I can do to please fix your problem because I love this printer and I’ve been using it faithfully to help me write my books and now you’ve screwed it all up big-time!

Canon print sucks
Canon print upgrade now does not recognize my SELPHY cp1300 It used to work fine now is saying must register the printer even though it shows up in the printer page
Doesn’t print well
I can only print from my mobile devices using the app. The printing configurations are awful. The printer won’t print the entire page, or all of the pages. It’s truly the worst printing experience. I’m returning it.

Horrible connectivity
Have to constantly delete and download app. Printer is on and app says offline and won’t connect. Redownload app and fails to add printer then try to manually add it and says acquiring printer information for 5 minutes.

Make-up feature on documents does not work
I tried to use the make up feature to cover up an image on my document before I printed because it would take a lot of ink and it was unnecessary to my document. I fully covered the image and when I went to print it printed out, my image printed anyway which wasted a lot of my ink which is very expensive.
Just another waste of money
Buying a printer and then paying for a service to use the printer is absolutely ridiculous.
Doesn’t connect
I can print reliably with Apple AirPrint so the printer can be seen by the iPhone. But the Canon Print app is useless, never able to connect to the printer.
Poor edit options
I hate this app. Just resizing a picture/doc is the most frustrating thing I never had issues with Epson apps. I switched to a canon printer because Epson had its own communication issues with smartphone for years. Annoyed with the options out there. My business runs on things printed to size and this just ain’t it.

Absolute Garnage app
An unmitigated pile of garbage. This app is stuck in the 90s and doesn’t work. Nor could I connect from my laptop. And an hour of my life wasted because Canon is too cheap to include a USB cable with my new Canon printer!!!

New to this printer. Print is so blurry I cannot read it

Direct print stopped working. Has said “low ink” for over 500 pages while using Cannons own cartridges. Cannon App far more difficult.

I was super exited about it, BUT: This printer frequently reports paper jams even when no paper is jammed, causing it to stop working at the worst times. It also fails to print complete documents, only part of the document prints before it stops. This is a brand-new printer with a brand-new cartridge, so these issues are very disappointing. Unfortunately, it has been unreliable from the start and does not perform as expected.

I enjoy it while working, but it’s constantly not. I have to keep on restarting the Internet.
Change one thing….let the phone sleep or go to another screen!!!
I have a newer iPhone. This app drives me insane. The phone goes to sleep the print job quits! Wasted my paper. Gotta keep taping the screen because you can’t switch to anything else. Super irritating!!!
Hangs when trying to add printer
I try to add a printer, it hangs on Wi-Fi setup
Network Connection
I have to push buttons on my printer and wireless router in the right sequence to connect my printer to my network EVERY time. Such a terrible customer experience!

Unfortunately this software on the iPad or iPhone does not support 11x14 size printing
