Do not recommend
I have the quicksilver card. The cashback rewards on this are nothing compared to my other ones. They won’t even upgrade to the savor without trying to run my credit. When I applied in 2021, it said no annual fee for quicksilver. They don’t tell you they have a capital one fee you have to pay. I do not recommend Capital One. If I don’t get an upgrade, im shutting this card down. Not worth the sorry cashback percentage.

Card Not Showing
Not all of my capital One cards appear in app, which is affecting Apple Pay and was fine prior to new iPhone purchase!
Credit limit
No matter what I do how responsible I am I am denied a credit limit increase. If it wasn’t for the length of credit history these cards would be closed!
DO NOT BANK HERE, YOUR DEBIT CARD IS WORTHLESS
It’s via the discover network now so enjoy having it declined all the time for no reason!!!! For whatever dumb reason they’ve decided that you don’t need an actual debit card anymore I guess, so instead of your Mastercard, you get a useless discover card. Prepare to be screwed over by this anytime it matters. Thanks for nothing. What a joke.
Shopping feature crashes
Starting around 2 months ago, Capital One offers that they keep pushing out keeps crashing after they redirect me to my phone browser. If you’re going to advertise something prominently, you should at least make sure it works.
This App is frustrating
I keep having to delete this app so I can log into my accounts to make payments but then I get locked out for too many attempts when I am only attempting one time. I just want to log into my account, see my purchases, and pay my bill. This is beyond frustrating.
Not an app issue
Opening an account was super easy, but then when a cashier accidentally put too much money on the card for a large purchase, my card was then locked. I send my ID, several bank statements and several pieces of mail. I had just moved so I kept being told that the mail either wasn’t recent enough or wasn’t the right type of mail. Apparently my ID and bank statements weren’t enough. Then when I tried to close the account and pay it off, the payment was sent back to me and I was hit with a late fee. When I called it get an exception on the late fee since there was no reason my money was sent back, they wouldn’t make an exception. Now I owe a late fee and I still don’t have this whole situation behind me yet.

Worst customer service ever
Now that I have Capital One accounts including credit cards for a few years I am changing my rating to one star. If I could put zero stars, I would. Customer service agents are rude, they act as if you’re bothering them. When trying to get credit for products not received if you don’t do it in a timely matter, they don’t even wanna listen to you. Even on your credit cards if you don’t ask them for a refund in a timely matter for product not received you can kiss your money goodbye. I am a cancer survivor and unfortunately, during chemo treatments I didn’t keep up on products ordered, products needing to be returned or products not received. When I was able to contact Capital One with a clear head, I was told it’s too late and even had a customer service agent chuckle under his breath as if to say sucks to be you. As soon as I am able, I will definitely be canceling my checking and savings account. My advice is to stay away from Capital One at all costs. They obviously have grown too big for their britches.

Takes forever to get account unrestricted for no reason

When I open the app it takes its sweet time to load. I don’t have all day.
Will be canceling card
When needing to redeem points on a road trip for a hotel wouldn’t allow. Called Reps and they couldn’t help. One rep mentioned to just pay for the hotel full cost and get points. But then when I looked to see when I wanted to redeem it was $70 verses saving over $150 on booking a hotel to redeem points.
Poor APP
The ask me to add a phone number, I added and it gets rejected saying phone number not valid.

Said the Apr was 0 for 15 months. Started charging immediately.

Pushing Friends
Stop asking me to refer friends every day emails and every time you open the Capitol One App. You can’t turn it off. Too much pushing my friends to join. Everyday. Annoying.
Decent App poor customer service
The app is pretty good although it lacks a few things. Like the ability to give a nickname to my kids youth account. The check deposit limits should be increased for those with long term high balance accounts.
