RIDICULOUS
I’ve been waiting for almost 2 weeks for my account to be verified so I can withdraw my rewards and have yet to hear back from them! Absolute worst customer service, do NOT recommend!!

Essentially a scam
After using this often on for a couple months, I’ve gathered that this app is essentially it’s a scam. It steals most of your information and has so many caveats to which it is almost impossible to get any money from it. The gift card you receive eBay is the only valuable option and there’s so many. Fine print details that getting any money as a result from this app is not possible. Most of it is a complete waste of time while they make tons of money from stealing all your data. I wish Capital One didn’t associate themselves with this app as it has degraded my brand recognition of them.
Like a virus
Ive had multiple orders cancelled because it trys to force itself into my orders even when outside the app. Making the orders get confused and then cancelled, I have lost out on hundreds in discounts because it caused cancellations after the order and I didn’t realize it.

I only signed up for this app because my capital one said it would give me a free $45 if I signed up etc… of course it was a scam.
False Advertisement
Hi, if you saw the free $40 or $55, don’t fall for the scam. these people bait you into signing up and downloading their apps and extensions and do not follow through with the free sign up bonus. 👎

The other problem is the “Claim your $45 email” - every time follow that one and all the rules, it just takes to a set reminder page,. Sends it again and.. might’ve even already purchased $15 after my first purchase with the app running already - maybe not though.. pretty sure it ran coupon codes, but didn’t use/load any, showing the corner of the screen like the other..

It make u think that all u need to do is to download to ur phone but then ask u to log to ur computer just to download there to. Why don’t they be upfront on it and say u need to download load it on ur phone and computer

Deceptive tactics
I downloaded the app with the promo offer in mind to use the browser extension. Also bought a book and received the bonus for that. When I tried to redeem the rewards it required me to link my personal bank account and have access to multitudes of my financial information. I denied it access and I could not redeem my reward balance. This app does not mention it requires this until you try and redeem the rewards. Don’t bother with this app.
Waste of time
Was promised a promotion if I tried this capital one shopping app . Never received anything and never got a reply when I emailed them. None of the savings worked on eBay or Sam’s Club. Waste of time.

Do not fall for this sketchy promotions. Lots of loop to jump through for rewards sometimes you don’t even get confirmation emails.

The Cap1 shopping app offers pitiful deals and the ones worth taking are often not possible due to the restrictions placed on said promotion. What really angered me was the "specialized deal" email I would get I wouldn't even be eligible for. It's a very bait and switch type move and don't even get me started on how difficult it is to track your rewards 30-90 days after the purchase. Just stay away from Cap1 all together. Their travel portal and whole ecosystem is just terrible. I have only had their Venture card for a few months, but I'm no longer interested in using it since all the benefits are lacking

So I use it to make a purchase…no rewards show. Once I tried a second purchase, the app was getting hung up trying to verify I was human. I just deleted it. It’s not worth the trouble

I have tried many times to get three offers to work. I’ll go to capital one in their website. I’ll click the offer link. Then it takes me to the merchant webpage and I make a purchase right away.
I never get the offer money. I call and they say it takes up to 90 days to verify. I call at 3, 4, and 5 months and they say that I did everything right and just to wait. Then at 6 months they say it’s too late - too bad, so sad.

Insufficient directions
This app explains nothing. And I didn’t receive my bonus. Don’t even try. It’s all bs. And there is no help to receive whatsoever

The setup for this app is so convoluted and annoying, it feels like a scam. I was enticed to sign up with a message saying I’d receive a $45 bonus after a recent online purchase. As far as I can tell, I have not received the bonus. The app design feels like something out of 2003. Complete trash.

Literally the first item I looked up on the app I went to the direct website and found the exact item for $20 less. Not to mention Amazon was also cheaper.

Aside from them always watching everything you do, I think it’s dumb that the offer they give you in the app can change within an hour. Especially for a” daily “ deal.
I saw I had a 13%, went to the website of the retailer, came back an hour later and it changed to 10%.
It’s happened before with a bigger difference.

Garbage App
This app is garbage. It does not find the cheapest price, even taking into account the estimated “reward.” The desktop browser extension is better, but even then it will offer you one reward, and change it/reduce the reward value after you sign in.
