been paying for my dogs surgery using this credit card and it sucks. logs me out after every use and doesn’t seem to keep me logged in. always has an update. not to mention how hard it is to make a payment on this app

🚨 I made every required monthly payment and was NEVER late. Yet after the promotional period ended, CareCredit charged me $2,254.15 in interest in a single transaction.
💥 BAM! Over $2,200 added at once.
What makes this even worse is that I was also charged $111.33 for Card Security, a product I do not recall knowingly authorizing or requesting. Customers should carefully review their statements for add-on products and fees.
⚠️ WARNING TO ALL CUSTOMERS:
* Making your monthly payments on time does NOT necessarily protect you from massive deferred interest charges.
* If the promotional balance is not paid in full by the expiration date, CareCredit can charge interest retroactively from the original purchase date.
* Review your account for optional products such as Card Security and verify that you actually requested them.
* Keep track of your promotional expiration dates yourself-do not assume regular payments are enough.
I used CareCredit for healthcare expenses and paid my account every month as agreed. Being hit with a $2,254.15 interest charge despite making payments feels unfair and misleading. Then seeing an additional $111.33 Card Security charge only added to my frustration.

1 Star. Would not recommend. There are better financing options that are more transparent and customer-friendly.

This app’s activity page doesn’t make it clear what’s happening within your account. And they don’t offer the option to pay by debit card. You can only make direct payments with an account and routing number. This limited my ability to make payments so personally it was a downside. I’ll never be applying for care credit again.

Highly recommend staying away from this company, incredibly sneaky and they will screw your over any chance they get.

I received an email with a link to log on to my account online to read a new message. But since using this app is quicker than logging in online, I went to the app Message Center, but no new message. I called support, and they said to log on online to view it, which is ridiculous snd mor a solution. If the app Message Center doesn’t work, why have it there? Please either remove it from the app or make sure it works as it should.

The service and return for payment and other problems is terrible

They’re a joke ! It take about an hour to get in contact with them and do not resolve anything.

So I used this to help me pay for my pet vet bill and I paid some of it off but when I looked at the amount I paid they took some of my money, I put 60 in but when I looked they put 18 dollars back and it never went back to my bank account, so idk what happened to that 18 dollars but it’s gone in there pocket
