DIY Service Records Dissapeared
I went to go add another DIY service record on my app, and all the services I did myself, are all gone from January to February and it was like 10 different records. Carfax you need to fix your app

I bought a 2018 Honda pilot
About 2018 Honda pilot with the Carfax Carfax no information of any condition he said he was good three weeks later. I don’t replace two tire entire transmission. And I lost almost $6000 trust in Carfax. Is like putting a fox with the chicken. I bought the car for Samsung auto last time I will ever use them and use Carfax.
FREEZES
This is a GREAT APP for performing searches and background information when searching for a vehicle. However, lately the app FREEZES once I go to the “expanded” photo option; where I can see all of the photos at once. I have been constantly closing the app then restarting it just to complete a search. I would appreciate if you would FIX this issue, rating will increase to what it was.

I have turned off notifications. I do not want notifications, but this app keeps wanting me to turn on notifications. Stop it.

Whoever the idiot that decided to censor MY OWN VIN in MY OWN ACCOUNT should promptly be fired. It borderline ruined the app. Idiots…

I finally find a car I’d really like to check out, so I sign into my CARFAX account, through the App. It identifies me, welcomes me back, then asks me to verify it’s really me, by going to my email for their message & instructions. I open the email they sent, it thanks me for verifying my email address, but asks me to CREATE A PASSWORD!! So I enter my new & updated password and hit the “DONE” button, & send it…BUT THEIR RETURN EMAIL IS A CARFAX ”NO RESPONSE”. email, which just informs you that your email cannot be sent to that (no response) address!!! And doesn’t give you a solution not a correct email to respond to!!

I bought their report but I don't have access to it, I've been talking to customer support for two weeks now and they haven't helped me.
Worthless reports
Bought a three year old certified used car with a clean carfax. Shortly after the car was purchased the carfax was updated that the car had been in an accident prior to my purchase. This company is definitely in cahoots with the dealerships and cannot be trusted. I was scammed to overpay for a damaged used vehicle that now has a lesser trade in value as well due to this company. Avoid this company like the plague and bring a mechanic to your used car purchase.

Carfax is garbage now. There’s no way to get a VIN check without paying. It’s not just Carfax, it’s every major VIN check website. This should honestly be illegal for the government to not provide a free way to access a VIN check without going through these frugal companies.

The newest update causes the app to crash every time I click on a car listing. UNUSABLE!

I purchased 4 reports only to find that Carfax says "no results found for vin # ................ " although their competitors do for the same vin! I regrettably trusted the name Carfax
Horrid app
Fix your ish. What a worthless app. Fixing it so dates won’t change? I don’t know. It’s 2021 still - I thought it was 2025, but according to this dog-water, outhouse soup joke of an app, it’s stuck in 2021 unless I close it down, restart the app, and restart my searches every time I go away for more than 5 minutes. It’s almost as worthless as that joke you call a website, lol. A billion-dollar company can’t shell out some money for sites and apps that actually work? Mr. Carfax is sitting in his shiny suite, needs another mega yacht, and can’t be bothered to make sure the dev team isn’t just college interns?
App stopped working after 2 days
App worked fine at the beginning but then stopped working - impossible to log in to save searches, save favorites, nor reach out to sellers. So frustrating.

The new update no longer shows the location of the vehicle or the price until I click on the actual listing. Also now my ‘Filter’ and ‘Sort’ tabs are extremely dimmed and it’s very hard to see the words. Please fix soon

Uh Oh!
'Failed to verify account!' Is the message I constantly get after browsing your app. I try to log back into my account when it kicks me out of it and then it just gives me this error every time. I thought the app was just having a bad day once, but its been going on for a couple of weeks now. On and off with this issue. Please fix.
Won’t load anymore
Since I updated my iPad to OS 26.1 the app won’t load. I deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted my iPad, etc. but it just hangs on the title screen. I loved the app when it worked.

Most Annoying App
This used to be my favorite app for looking for cars. Easiest to use and most convenient. Then the developers changed a bunch of buttons around. Also, when you try to click on a picture the app freezes. This is not just an issue of my device either, I have the same issues with my gf’s Samsung. I still use the app sometimes because it’s not completely terrible.

No full screen pics
Can’t view vehicle images in full screen mode on iPad when shopping. Doesn’t display engine hp like CarGurus does, which is very helpful.
