I liked this game
But the grind is unreal. I farmed the first season and maxed everything out in chaos and whatnot. Just to have to do it again… old seasonal decks don’t carry to new seasonal content. Which would be fine if it didn’t require so much farming. Even with the items they have added to let’s say select epiphany, auto weekly chaos runs. They then add sortie which is another end game event that reset seasonally. Meaning that all of the buffs I just farmed to get via collecting resource, will go away. Thus making it where I cannot do end game content unless I continuously farm. And on top of that still needing to farm chaos runs to level that up to for the event stuff. Because the auto battler doesn’t really give resources for that. A fun game killed by terrible direction and farm hell. Worse than genshin in terms of how much time you will spend playing. And then there is people that will think, “you just don’t like the game to begin with.” Which then why would I write this? I just don’t want to farm the same dumb missions over and over again, and get farm gatekept out of the higher level stuff. Because I want to win, since I have a high level account with different characters built. I want to be able to engage the new content and get new stuff without grinding forever

The game is literally unplayable without S+ tier DPS. This makes the game extremely complicated and time consuming for absolutely no reason. Even when you get the characters you have a less than 1% chance to get the exact deck you’re farming. I particularly dislike when strategy games make excessively slow progression loops. I can invest but spending a whole day in a game just to be blocked by RnG is annoying. They’ve also formally stated that they copied a lot of their gacha rates from Genshin. I prefer star rail over Genshin. Had to drop it. I’m sure some people will still like this game. It’s just not for me.

Of course they needed to completely gut the one free character everyone gets at the start for no reason. Devs really needed to be this greedy.
Day 1 launch to my account gone
Wtf happened, I played since day 1 launch and got every character and beat all of the story lines and then I went to log into the game this morning and it reset my account. I’m genuinely very upset I spent a lot of hours perfecting my character and cards. Please restore my account. I tried contacting support and sent screenshots but they said my account is gone. My iPhone never asked me to create or sign into an account so the entire time I played is just gone. I had everything what the heck. So unfair
A mess
I actually enjoy playing Chaos Zero Nightmare, but the developers are seriously a mess. Every single update feels like a gamble. Maintenance is constantly delayed, patch after patch, and it’s getting frustrating.
The latest maintenance was supposed to be 5 hours… and somehow turned into over 10+ hours after multiple delays. Like, how does that even happen? At that point just be honest about the timeline instead of stringing players along.
What makes it worse is the lack of compensation. If you’re going to waste players’ time and keep pushing the schedule back, the least you can do is acknowledge it properly. But nope-nothing.
The game itself has a lot of potential, but the way it’s being managed is honestly disappointing. It feels unprofessional and makes it hard to stay invested.

Keep restarting when minimize app
I always have to start over when I minimize the game for another app then come back. Can it keep what I am doing there so I don’t have to waste time playing.

I’m on an iPhone 16 pro max and since latest update it’s unplayable as the game crashes while playing.

Maintenance message needs to be more clear that if you are in the middle of a chaos run you will lose all progress. Twice now it’s happened, and I haven’t a dammed clue why until I googled it

This games pushes you into downloading 3rdparty apps to track you (stove) for “security measures” its so secure that you get so many errors just to tell you cant boot up the game. Great work guys, your game its so safe because you prevent people from playing it. Cant experience danger if you dont play it lol
Crashes too much
Honestly, there are multiple problems with this. I don’t like that I can’t even attempt auto-battling in Chaos, for example… and not quite everything is easy to find/understand, such as team formations. I’ve only found that in the mode that requires 2 teams, so I haven’t saved many formations.
However, the biggest problem by far is: This crashes pretty much every time I try to do anything. Most battles can be resumed and then finished, but it’s annoying loading in, crashing, and loading back in just to beat a battle… and since you can’t fully skip entire stories, longer ones like Chapter 1-4 in Seed Of Karmic Fire or Haru’s Trauma Code Chapter 5 are just impossible to progress past for me.
I looked to see if I could play it on my laptop through Google Play Games, but nope. So I’m stuck with my 7th Gen iPod Touch, on iOS 15.7 or something, and it just isn’t really functional despite saying I only need iOS 13.0 or above. Honestly, I’m not sure you can make it functional for me… so just change it to saying you need iOS 16.0 or above. It probably works on newer devices. I should upgrade soon. Honestly, I was surprised this even downloaded and launched. The last Overlord game didn’t even load in. I’ve actually been able to make some progress in this (5 level 50 Combatants now, I think), but no sane person would consider this playable. It crashes way too much. At least, on my old device.
I really do think it’s a problem that won’t affect 99% of people, and won’t affect anyone if you change the iOS requirements to 16.0 or above. But I’m basing this on it SAYING it works on my device, and it really doesn’t.
From what I’ve seen, though, I think this mainly needs QOL stuff for everyone else. Plenty of potential. But I’m going by my experience, not the potential.

I could deal with slow qol updates but Starting to Nerf characters and now censoring art l2d as well . Don’t waste ur time or money. . Just go buy a full game for best experience . Smile gate is just ea Korea or ea Ubisoft
