We were so excited about them fixing the crashes that happened multiple times per game, until we realized that the fix was to keep us from playing the game at all! Latest update will not do anything other than shutting down the game. I am sick of this and wish there was a way to get our money back. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

1.1.1 broke the app for me
Updated to 1.1.1 and now I can't run the game at all. Had no problem before update.
App crashes constantly
This app has so many bugs. It plays so slowly. You have to sit and wait for each opponent to take their move. Then every 5-10 min the game crashes. So you have to reboot, wait for it to load up, wait for the opponents to take their turns, and then you can go. A 20 minute game can take up to an hour to play when the app crashes so often. Trying to play Game 4 of the campaign and the app has crashed 6 times already!

Crashes and burned
Running on an older iPad Mini, but I run other games no real issue. Played for about 5 minutes and game trashed twice, after maybe three turns each time. Even without the crash issue, the game lacks several features, such as the ability to see available buildings, an ability to see what the buildings do, and doesn’t tell you what you need to accomplish to win. So, without the crashes, it’s still only a three. $10 wasted on a game worth not even half that.
Still buggy
I don’t think I’ve been able to compete a single multiplayer game. It freezes at various points. We lost one player we think because of syncing problems between platforms when android version had an update. Now I’m faced with no options even though it’s my turn. I receive no reply to developer feedback in game. Against AI seems to work, but I bought this because I was in the middle of an in-person game before COVID19 hit and I thought we could play together this way. I’m asking for my money back at this point.
Freezes, can’t play the game
For the amount of money this game costs, I would expect it to work much better. There are many $1.99 games in the App Store that work perfectly fine. This game keeps freezing. It incorrectly tells multiple players that it’s their turn, so it’s very confusing. My team is halfway through the campaign, and none of us are able to move forward. We will have to abandon the game and start over, which is very frustrating. There are also a lot of unnecessary actions that the player has to take, like confirming that their turn is over. When I run out of things to do, the game should automatically move to the next player. This extra confirmation adds waiting time to the game because people forget to do it at the end of their turn.

I was incredibly excited to play the digital version of the game, since our real life game was only halfway through (its hard to get six players together at times). I love the real life version, but the higher price tag made me hesitate (higher when compared to other digital board game versions).

When I reloaded, it crashed again after another round or so, and finally, when I went to open it up and reload the saved game, it stopped loading entirely. The loading bar stays at 0% and doesn't move.
Incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend this game to anyone until these bugs are worked out.

Big City
The game has a lot of bugs, making it almost unplayable as intended. I opened a box, received a building, built up the resources to make it, and then as it was built, the screen flashed, replaced the building with a weaker one, and then reset just my progress to the start of the game. Now I have three other players just stomping me while I try to recover.
Bad
I can’t tell if it’s an acceptable port of a terrible game, but I could not figure out what was going on. Played entire campaign randomly and did fine. Wish I wouldn’t have purchased.

Paid Alpha - Updated
This needed to spend more time in testing. It lags horribly and force closes when you pick your first persona when you can pick two. Repeatedly crashes and now game is stuck. Wish I had waited. Freezes mid game and you need to save close and reopen. Has potential but I didn't know Apple had an early Access program like Steam.
Update - complete game breaking bug in the final game. Play through 12 games only to find the potion maker card is broken. The AI player can use it every turn making 3 VP per turn on a single use card. Even better it locks everyone's cards until the next income butt since he can use it every turn if you are after him in turn order you are just screwed. Complete game breaking and now I wasted hours trying to finish a campaign only to have it finish with a broken Aim winning the final game. Nice job. I want my money back. Next time you want to beta test a game do it through test flight.

Interesting Game, Super Buggy
Game was working for a while on my iPhone 11, but due to buggy worker placement the game froze up and following a force close, my game 3 can not be continued.
Games freeze on opponent’s turn
I have three separate offline campaigns that have completely frozen during an opponents turn for no apparent reason. This renders the campaign completely unplayable.
I would recommend waiting until the developers fix this significant bug before purchasing.
Aside from the issue above, this is a fantastic port of the physical version and I look forward to playing lots more once it’s been updated.

Not ready
As happens all too often, this app is simply not ready to be released. Endless crashes and bugs. Cannot get a four player game to even start. One player says it’s their turn but their screen refers to a different player name and won’t let them take the turn. The other named player cannot get in, just crashes. Waste of time and money. Loved the board game but suggest everyone wait for a few months until it stabilizes in a working version.
Fun but problems
My game didn’t get stuck at 1% like others so I was able to experience the first game of the campaign, which was excellent. However, during the 2nd game, the game glitched and now is impossible to play, mainly the game thinks it is the wrong players turn, so even though the final round is over, the game thinks it’s someone’s turn and doesn’t continue the game. Please fix for a higher rating!

Like a lot of people said the game loads and crashes at 1%. I’ve tried so many settings. Works most of the time on my phone though. Love the game, but they need to fix the crashing issue.

Needed more testing
I am glad they made a digital version of this game and it’s very pretty, but it crashed hard a couple of times, and it also contained a game-breaking misapplication of the rules (potion master gives opponent 100+ points in a game instead of 3). Hopefully a fix is on the way soon.
Numerous Crashes
Unfortunately I cannot finish the first game of my campaign as the game crashed mid game. I fully rebooted my iPad thinking this would correct any issue but now the game loading screen is stuck at 0%.

Love the game, but....
I can’t play more than 5 minutes on iPad mini without the game crashing. It wouldn’t load at all until the recent update. It works not but still has major bugs to work out. When it does work it’s fun, but right now can’t even finish the first game.
Keeps freezing on game 6
So far I’m loving the game play, and the original group I played the table top with are excited to play together via digital, but it keeps freezing on game 6. I have tried to restart, and have even started game 6 over several times, but I can’t seem to get past this freeze. I hope they fix it soon, because it’s a fun game. Otherwise you will pay to get half a game. Not impressed so far.

Crashes at 1% load
Basically unplayable for campaign, I haven’t tried online. But once you name your village, pick you color and try to load, it crashes after 1% of loading.

IPad Crashing
I am using the 2018 iPad Pro. I have three campaign games with AI opponents. The game has stalled in all three. I did make it to game 7 in one campaign. The stalling happens after I let go of my meeple mid drag. I can’t undo my action or finish it. It is as if my meeple is in limbo. I love the board game and am thrilled to see this in digital form. However it is unplayable until these issues are fixed.

Like others are saying, I’m unable to play on iPad. It freezes at 1% when trying to load a game after you’ve selected the players. Was also unable to contact support as the link said it could not establish a secure link via Safari.
I’m excited to play this and realize it’s day 1 but I hope it’s fixed soon. Watched some playthroughs online and the interface looks great.

Can’t load games, freezes at 1% and then crashes
App crashes as soon as game tries to load
I can get through the mode select and name my village/pick my color, but as soon as the game starts loading, it freezes at 1% for a few moments then the app crashes. Trying to play on iPad, fully updated. Works on my older phone, though.
