Cancellation without notice
It is ridiculous that neither Cheapoair nor the airline provided any email or text notification regarding changes or cancellations to an international flight. There is no reasonable excuse for travelers to discover that their flight has been changed or canceled only after arriving at the airport or reaching the gate.
When customers book international travel, timely communication is essential. A simple email, text message, or app notification could prevent unnecessary stress, confusion, missed connections, and additional expenses. Failing to notify passengers of major itinerary changes demonstrates poor customer service and a lack of respect for travelers’ time and money.
I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend using Cheapoair for international travel based on the lack of communication alone.
When customers book international travel, timely communication is essential. Apps keeps saying erorr
Chatting the CS about the apps not showing my flight details it keeps saying error no help at all. Instead telling me to add additional payment sounds like a scam. Fix the apps pls don’t sell me anything
Not so good experience
I selected 1st for my r/t Ric to OKC and the receipt says no checked bags included despite the option I selected stated 2 checked bags up to 23 KG. I also selected seat for all flight but they do not appear in the trip itinerary. Ugh I spent 30 minutes in chat with Bleiz to learn everything was fine…please fix the app!!! I do not need the aggravation.
Early Check in process
You get emails that say you can check in early via app but it doesn’t work at all. Waste of time and phone memory.

I purchased a ticket for sister in law in Philippines to fly to Tampa, for unseen circumstances of her needing to stay, as there is a recent shortage of doctors at her clinic. We requested a voucher for a later date. We were denied, so we asked for a refund, expecting fines, the Indian gentleman said it would be a maximum of 300 dollars. After 3 hours of phone calls he said it would be over 500 dollars and we need to pay 210 dollars upfront totaling 710 dollars on top of 200 dollars because they changed the flight dates from original order. So 910 dollars now on a 1098 dollar fare. With 210 upfront they want card numbers, street address. All customer service people are based in India, and had hard time understanding me. When pushed why I should give more money so refund can happen, he hung up

Complete refund was not received. It took many calls to receive only a partial refund. I’m never using CheapOair again. Stay away!
Worst ever choice and service
I booked international flight via American and Qatar. I tried to do online check in, no option, i go to American airline site with reference no provided it tells you go to Qatar website for check in, i go there it tells you ticket sold by American go to their website. I calm customer service two hours on hold and they can’t even connect and retrieve my booking on either airline and they trying to beat around bush , give you excuses we don’t sell tickets. Pathetic service worst experience and my kids are flying tomorrow. There are so many hidden fees and charges they trying to sell you every little thing

This is terrible service. I bought a ticket and canceled it within 24 hours, but they still charged me a cancellation fee even though the website clearly states that cancellations are free. Their customer support is also very slow and unhelpful. People should think carefully before buying tickets from their website.

Don’t waste your money
If you have to choice use a different site, they sell you insurance that won’t cover like they state they do. I got sick and missed my plane and they offered no help! I was to embarrassed to tell them how I got sick but they stated insurance wouldn’t help even know we got it for an emergency and on top of that they tried to sell us tickets that were over priced to get back home! We found an affordable tickets back from Japan after chipO air wouldn’t help they were trying to sell us $3000 dollar tickets and then lowest they offered was $1400 per person. Don’t waste your money on the insurance is a scam. Try just fly or Expedia. We got tickets back for $400s per person the next day.

The pricing displayed initially feels misleading - low prices are shown to attract customers, but additional costs and issues appear later in the booking process. It creates a frustrating and untrustworthy experience.
The worst part was that the baggage policy was not clearly communicated during booking. Because of this, during a very short layover, passengers were expected to collect their bags and re-check them for the next flight. This is extremely inconvenient and unrealistic, especially with limited connection time.
How can travelers be expected to change flights and manage baggage transfers in such a short duration without proper warning or guidance? This lack of clarity caused unnecessary stress and confusion.
What made things worse was the customer support. Getting assistance was difficult, responses were unhelpful, and resolving issues took far longer than expected. A travel platform should provide clarity and support, especially when customers run into problems, but that was not my experience at all.
Please don’t book using this third party especially for parents.

After so much time and trouble, we have a six hour layover!
Not trust worthy at all
I booked a flight to Miami and a hotel with it in this app. When I arrived at the hotel it was completely trash. So dirty and horrible people ok there. I had to wait 6 hours in the airport before hand waiting for the flight because it was so trash. They put you in the worst flights and the worst hotels. It’s not cheap flight deals, it’s cheap flight trash. I had to sleep in my rental car in Miami. After not being able to get into the hotel, they failed to give me a refund. I called them but all they said was to talk to the hotel or talk to the bank. The bank said they cannot give me a refund or give me my money back so I had to talk to the people who booked it for me. The hotel also said I cannot get the refund and I had to talk to the people who booked it for me. The hotel was called Grand Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, it was so expensive and so trash. When I called them who booked it for me, it was foreign people whose accents are so thick you cannot even understand what they are saying. They provided absolutely NO solutions and basically said I’m screwed. They did not make it aware when booking that I would risk loosing THOUSANDS of dollars being in business with them. They have no insurance to give back to their clients if their bookings go wrong BECAUSE OF THEM. The worst vacation ever just because of this business. Wasted vacation and my money. Book with them if you want the worst vacation and all of your money gone.

DO NOT USE CHEAPOAIR, THEY ARE FULL SCAMMERS, RIPPED ME OFF TWICE. They waited until the last minute before boarding time to cancel my flight. I lost $800 something.
Car rental
Not worth it. The site stated there were 2 drivers. When I got to the place (which was off spot of the airport) I was told there was only 1 driver and had to pay extra for a 2nd driver. They charged me to pick me up from the airport also. They charged to use a credit card(6.95) I would never get a rental car through them again or Routes car rental!

Very Bad customer service
In my entire life i never a bad customer service like this. I call to make change on the ticket they ask me to calm the airline that i by the ticket with them
At the end ask me to cancel the booking for an extra charge i had to pay upfront, the part that really get me upset its when i finally pay to cancel the ticket and they were not able to get a comfirmation email, the agent “check with your booking number you will see it” when i check its still not cancelled, i will never ever go through that again

Bad Service
The app it’s awful, change the date and the costumer service neither helped me. They wanted to charge me more for cancel the transaction the first 24 hrs.

Feel cheated
Not happy with the service I received. I booked my flight only to get a message from the airlines that there were two flights under my name for the same time. I asked to cancel but come to find out
The site took the money like they booked me a flight and did not cancel the flight to refund what I already spent on the flight. Needless to say I booked the same flight on the airline site and now I have two purchases I have to pay for as I only got a credit for the cancellation of the flight this site booked for me. Customer service was very horrible. Will not be using this site again. Wish I could have given them a 0 stars.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! I tried to buy tickets, but the transaction was cancelled-yet they kept trying to deduct the money again and again! I contacted my bank to prevent them from taking my funds; even without asking me if I still wanted the tickets, the company continued attempting to charge me repeatedly. And as for cancelling the booking? You have to spend three hours arguing with them just to get it done. Don't waste your time, money, or nerves!

Flight changed Cheapo Air did not
Flight to Chicago canceled. Cheapo Air sent 2 emails advising of the change but their app never changed - boarding passes completely wrong. My flight went to Dallas and the app continued to post Chicago flight info. Stupid and dangerous. Never ever again.

They sold me Ticket for one price and charge a different amount to my card, poor customer service, with different responses, at the end they said it was Glitch from the app and they weren’t going to refund anything.
They have no clue what they’re doing
Will be advising not to book with your services. My flight was cancelled by the specific air line. I was never notified by cheap o air and kept receiving reminders until I called and informed them directly the flight had been cancelled. Then was told I would not be receiving a refund after the cancellation had nothing to do with me. Hopefully you do better for your future customers.
Disappointed with help service
It’s easy to book. Cancellation is a nightmare. The team is not helpful or clear of circumstances.
Robbery At Its Best
This site will rob you blind …stick to Expedia Travelocity Priceline or go straight through the airlines … Lesson learned here… I selected what I thought was the dates I chose for my trip come to find out it was the suggested dates that generated on their behalf … in within not even 10 minutes I noticed the error I was then prompted change or cancel options which said before 24 hrs and was charged $610 on top of $643.00 for the changes … I then reached out to the billing department to debate these charges and was spoken to by one of the representatives like a child … very scolding and unprofessionally… I forgot that I was the victim here … They don’t have to ever worry about having me a valued customer.. packing my bags as we speak to delete this app and never ever utilizing them .. Bon voyage adios and good written .. count your days Cheap O Air

Using the app is horrendous. You can only call customer care using the app. That would be ok if calling on the app worked. Currently on call attempt # 22 but the damn thing keeps hanging up on me.

I had a very frustrating experience with CheapOair that has yet to be resolved.
After calling to correct a simple flight time change, I was advised my booking needed to be canceled and reissued. I clearly confirmed that everything would remain the same. However, I later discovered that my travel insurance was removed and never reinstated.
Since then, I’ve spoken with multiple representatives (5+), requested supervisors, and experienced repeated delays with no real resolution. I was told a supervisor attempted to contact me, yet I have no missed calls or voicemails to support that. On top of that, I experienced excessive hold times and even encountered unprofessional behavior from one of the agents.
What’s most concerning is the lack of accountability. Mistakes happen, but the inability to correct a clear internal error and properly support the customer is unacceptable.
At this point, I cannot recommend using this service.

My Trip with cheap-O-air
My trip to Saginaw itself was fine, I didn’t have an issue with my flights or anything when headed to the destination. The problem was as when I was headed back, when united changed my flight while I was at the gate getting ready to board, it went from me actively boarding to a 5+ hour layover. I chatted in to receive help through customer service and they completely lied to me telling me I had to be at the airport for 3+ hours in order for them to not change my flight time. I hadn’t been any any of the airport for more than 2… not only that but they lied and told me that I had to have a minimum of an hour and a half layover or my flight would be changed. Another lie, thankfully a UA gate worker was able to help me change and get onto the correct flight reducing my layover from 5 hours to 20 minutes. I’m never going through cheap-o-air again because that’s exactly what you get, cheap customer service that lies to you and won’t help you. Next time I’m flying directly through United.
