Annoying and boring
This app always makes you do the wrong thing and never gives you a second chance. It also doesn’t have a lot of things that you can do.

Purchased gold to my kid. Worked couple days, then it stopped recognizing my subscription (blocks premium features, asks to upgrade, but still tells me i have gold active). In addition - holds connectivity so badly, shows some “api error” dialogs. Whoever implemented it has no idea how quality applications are done. No 2nd month of gold from me.

Don’t buy this game. EVER. its a total money grab, you need to upgrade to gold to even do half the stuff. Nobody ever even plays the game so u usually end up going against bots. I don’t even know why ur Evan reading this. Don’t buy this game, weather you want to learn or you wanna giver your kid a “fun” experience🙄, it’s totally garbage smothered in dokie water w/ a moldy cherry on top.
New avatars are terrible
Update: Still waiting for Chesskids to change my young boy avatar (I’m the guardian for my two kids) to an adult avatar despite multiple service tickets. No one can explain why my avatar was changed from an adult to a child. Either it gets fixed or I can cancel my kids gold memberships and move it Lichess

Very disappointed customer support
My account is on gold membership ship, and paid one year subscription. Last week the account got disabled without any reason. Contacted customer support immediately, no one responded until 5 days later, but the support looked at a wrong account and replied with no issue found. I have pointed out his mistake and re-highlighted the right account name, and no response again afterwards. As a paid customer, we haven’t been able to use the app for several days with terrible customer support response SLA, and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. I don’t even know if I could get my account back at this moment. I am seriously considering moving my kid to other chess platform given this experience. For anyone who is considering buying gold membership, please be aware of the poor customer support you would get.
It’s nearly impossible to cancel.

So the reason I sent this is because I was just playing in mind, my own business and then I wanna to King level isn’t that just amazing so after I was doing king level, it just told me hey, you gotta level up to gold and then I was just like what and then we started me and now it’s saying 999 just for a week and now I can’t even BattleBots. It’s so frustrating and this is why I waited to start. I wish I could wait at one.
It kicked me out
When I was trying to play against a bot and It kicked me out😡
Help with glitch
We love this app, but unfortunately since the update we have not been able to complete a game. It goes out of the app randomly and when we go back in we have to restart the game. Our place is lost, essentially, when the app randomly puts us on the Home Screen. We love this app and would really appreciate help with getting it functioning smoothly.
