They are liars
They claim you get three free songs in the free version. Bull. I asked for my first song. They said I have already used my free songs and I have to upgrade. I’m deleting the app
No support
Have Premium subscription for many years. Having problems Can’t access my library. Can’t load new songs. Tried numerous times for help/support with no success .
Music not playing.
My music no longer plays for this app and it’s frustrating as I am continuing to learn how to play music and I pay for the premium subscription.

Broken
Paid for a year, but app doesn’t even work. With latest iOS on iPhone 17 pro max, the play button is greyed out on any song. The song starts playing (though there are no play controls), but the chord progression doesn’t play/move along with it. Extremely disappointing, useless. Worked fine on my iPad (which is broken), not sure why phone app is broken.

I’m really sick and tired of having to create an account for one and two having to pay for every little micro transaction. It would be nice if the world would not be so money hungry and actually want to help people with their hobbies.
Mostly for Guitar
I just signed up for the premium+ tool kit at $9/month- for nothing. I selected ukulele, but when I go to ‘practice your chords’ in the toolkit, the chords are for guitar, not ukulele. This app is geared toward the guitar, regardless if you select a different instrument in their initial app setup. I just canceled my subscription, but I’ve lost $9!

Scamming on renewal price
I noticed a charge on my credit card that didn’t seem to match any of my subscription rates from Apple. When I checked with Apple, they said that Chordify had added a 12% “sales tax” charge to the annual subscription (which had not been charged when I first bought the software). When I looked up laws in my local municipality and state, the only such tax being charged is not being charged for software of this type, it is only for software that is leased to businesses such as CRM or payroll software, which actually processes business data. Since I am certain that Chordify also does not have an office in Chicago, or collect more than $100,000 annually from customers in Chicago, they are not subject to any local taxes, and I find it hard to believe that they are forwarding this “Tax” to the city, so it seems a little bit like fraud, or something put in by an overzealous legal counsel. In any event, I just decided to cancel my subscription, since this strange charge called my attention to a subscription that I wasn’t really using anyway. Good work guys!
This app used to be great
This app used to be great. Now you can’t listen to a single song without having to pay an absurd amount of money. This app used to be my favorite now it’s just money hungry. The only good thing it offers is convenience but all the chords and lessons are on YouTube so I’m actually going to delete this.
Edit: I cannot stand Chordify. Continuing on with my past yap, this app used to give out 3 free songs now it’s only 2 free songs. It has just gotten worse.

Codify is the worst! I hate it. Codify will spam you! You have to bye the songs !

SCAM ALERT! I cancelled subscription & they keep charging me!
I cancelled the paid subscription in July. They charged my card August 12. I contacted them for a refund and they assured me I would be refunded and they would cancel my subscription. I no longer had the app or the subscription but they charged my card again on September 12. I had to get and open the app again just to leave this review. I have zero patience for this. Chordify BV, STOP charging me for this and refund the $18 you’ve taken from my card or deal with the FTC!

Dumb
Horrible app. You have to subscribe to see the songs and they don’t even have bass tabs. Who has ukulele and piano tabs but not bass tabs? Deleted immediately after exploring the app. Do not recommend. Better off using the internet to search for it, at least then you won’t be bombarded with ads and pop ups
It didn’t work
So I hadn’t played any songs on chordify for almost a Year so I just decided to look up a song and get the cords to play it, mind you for the first time in a year! So I looked up were it not for grace and when I tried to play it it said I had reach the max amount of chord views get the premium or go to discover to see your unlocked songs. So I did and the app said I still had three songs to unlock and play so I looked up Its Under The Blood, thinking oh maby it was just that song but the same thing happened. I tried this three more time befor getting frustrated and leaving a review. It just deals like they are trying to force me to get the premium which is messed up

Inaccurate chords
My best guess would be that this app uses ai for most of their songs because every song I’ve tried sounds terrible even if I tune down or up to whatever frequency they tell me too. All the chords are wrong and it just uses ones that sound partially similar.
Overall not a good app though at the very least they’re consistent at getting the songs on their app so you can get your hopes up that they have a song.

Not really a Ukulele app
The app subtitle and description are misleading. It says “Songs, Chords, Tuner” and “Play Guitar, Piano, and Ukulele”, but neither the tuner nor the chords have support for ukulele. Only the songs. In my opinion it shouldn’t be presented as a ukulele app if 2/3 of the functions don’t even support ukulele.
The main reason I downloaded was for the “tune all strings at once” feature. Disappointed and will have to look for something else.

Maybe good for beginners?
I just want to be able to look up chords for songs I like to play on the piano. I looked up one song on the app, just to see if it would work for me, and was immediately disappointed. I don’t want to play along to music, I need the lyrics or something there to know where the heck the chords go. There were several incorrect chords, but you can’t report that without making an account. No thanks.
I can see how it could be helpful for very beginners, but I was taught that playing along to a recorded track is detrimental if you actually want to be able to play on your own eventually, because it’s harder to hear yourself.

Free Version Broken
Literally wont let me play any songs even once without paying.
Recent changes
I’ve been enjoying this app, but a recent change has made it pretty unusable. The singing is so loud when compared to the guitar parts, it’s hard to keep time when strumming. Please adjust that, if possible. Thanks

This was a really good app but I can no longer play songs on it. It keeps trying to make me log into YouTube.

Great App But
I absolutely love this is all and it has helped me for a long time but PLEASE fix the buggy favorites list. There’s nothing worse than looking through my 400 songs to find an old song and having the app kick me back to the top of the list as soon as I exit the play screen. Please fix. This would make a 5 start review for me.
