I paid for lifetime one time payment. I am having issues with the casting so I deleted it and reinstalled and now it wants me to pay again.

It’s relentless with the pop up forced upgrade

Waste of my time and money.
Chromecaster has lousy ability to maintain connection.
It won’t maintain a stable connection. You must constantly go to app & reconnect (then it takes LOTS of reconnect attempts before it finally connects). When you do finally able to get it to connect, it doesn’t last long. Definitely shopping for alternatives!

Not worth price, laggy and overpriced for something that is built into Apple products.
Spent more time reloading the app than watching the stream
Downloaded to my watch the livestream of my daughter playing in the national tournament. Ended up watching mostly on my phone as the app would randomly stop mirroring. Junk. Will cancel and try to find a better app for the next game.

Absolutely terrible. Asks you to pay every 5 seconds, and you can’t even broadcast anything simple as pictures without forced auto play.

Where’s the remote emulator like other apps provide for their streaming fire stick Why can’t it allow boomerang or other apps to broadcast to tv ? Having it play personal video clips and pictures from phone for what I paid that’s so not worth it

Won't cast
Have tried all i can think of to mirror from my iphone to two newer TVs but nothing works... including having purchased a new Chromecast even though my devices seem to have it built in.
The app screen keeps prompting me to purchase a subscription but no, not until i can see if it works.

The “browser” feature is useless, as videos don’t format and don’t play to allow screen mirroring which is why I got the app.
Can’t use a QR code to connect for ChromeCast
Also doesn’t work in Chrome from camera or using URL in Chrome.

Tried this unsuccessfully three years ago and I have a new TV with Android, supposed to be compatible. I work in IT so this is not a user error. This should be intuitive and simple. It says it is connected to my TV. How can you sell this busted garbage for years?

Just want a way to cast my exported Koala sampler music. Unfortunately this can’t seem to cast local wav files or wav files uploaded to Google Drive. Works for YouTube casting… but so does the YouTube app without a $4 per week subscription….

Beyond worthless
Connected my phone to my TV. The image mirrored upside for a few seconds before just disappearing all together. This is a total scam. If it was free, it would still be a scam. False advertising

Downloaded today because I needed to find a way to cast from iPhone to a google powered TV. The ads for this app would always pop up when doing online searches on how to cast from iPhone to a DirectTV connected TV. Kudos to their marketing team for overwhelming any online search results for casting google search. If only their developers worked as hard as their marketers. Would not recommend. At all. Annoyingly forcing in app to upgrade and pay an annual lump sum before you could even try to see if it works. I bit the bullet and purchased a year plan just to even see if it would work. Mistake. It DID connect eventually (not the most intuitive app) but freezes every time after about 15 seconds of any vid playing or screen mirroring or if I switch screens/apps/safari to play any videos. What a waste. Would love to cancel that payment, but odds are it’s too late. I’ll keep searching for a better way to connect. should’ve read more reviews before purchasing. I advise everybody to do the same.

You cannot cast your iPhone screen to Chromecast with the basic offering. Not sure if you can with the premium. I was so frustrated just getting it uploaded and connected to my TV, once it was connected the only options I had were to cast my own pictures or videos. I just want to cast my screen to my TV. Android makes it easy. iPhone is a pain in the BUTT! I am beginning to hate iPhone. And I have already started hating this app. I am cancelling right now.

App doesn’t even work. Downloaded it to cast videos from Safari, but the browser feature does nothing. Connected to my tv, pulled up the browser, I can bring up sites, but it doesn’t cast to my tv or give me an option to. So I tried the screen mirroring, it would cast the video, but will not play the sound on the tv speakers. The audio continues to come through the phone. Tried the airplay feature to play the audio through the TV, didn’t work either. Also, the video is a tiny box in the middle of the screen, and if I tilt my phone to make the video full screen on my phone, it makes the video vertical on the tv screen. This app is completely useless
