Monthly subscription
You took away the one useful feature. I need to watch 1 class. Not going to pay 200 dollars a year!
Only yearly option +$150 usd
Not sure where the monthly in app options are for $19 but I certainly would not pay $150 in app for something without even a 3-7 day trial. Perhaps I can do this on the website and if so what is the point of this app? Deleting and trying other learning platforms.
Won’t Let You Do a Monthly Subscription
The app and website constantly redirect you to their annual subscription when you attempt to look at the subscriptions.
That’s asking for a lot for individuals who have never been able to use Class101 or cannot afford a yearly subscription.
There is not even a free trial. It’s a big commitment if you can’t even search all the classes offered.
I attempted to reach out to Customer Service but no reply yet.

Videos not working/ 영상이 안 보여요
Subscribed for a yearly plan but most of the videos show error and it is not working. Tried to reach customer service but nothing has been fixed either. 연간구독했는데 영상 오류가 너무 자주 일어나요. 문제가 있어서 연락 드리면 답변은 빨라서 감사하지만 고쳐지는게 없어서 답답합니다

The videos don’t work. It’s all in Korean, so you have to play around a lot to even get to the actual class page.
Videos don’t work
The videos in the app do not work. They don’t even exist. I don’t know if it’s my class or the app but the videos just do not show up. In the browser version the videos show up but they are such low resolution that I can’t see what’s going on because everything is so blurry. I’ve used to different iPads and my phone and each has the same issue. The browser versions on the iPad also do not have the option to change the resolution so I cannot even set the resolution to 1080.
English version
Claims to have English version when they are promoting but apparently not the case. Not user friendly. I also was unable to load the video. I thought my class ended and try to extend it. But on app they say I still have 35days left.
Good content but bad app
I usually take my class on my laptop but since the videos suddenly stopped running on chrome and safari browsers I tried watching the videos through the iPad app. The app is in Korean and there are no English translations anywhere. Makes it hard to navigate even if one is familiar with the platform. Lastly and most importantly, the videos do not have English subtitles making it impossible to learn.
Really could use an English version
Since I don’t read Korean, I can't understand anything. There’s no way to translate into English in the app. But I can still see the comments, and be able to up my Points.
Class is nice, disappointed in everything else
I paid over $200 but can only access English subs on desktop. It’s disappointing because the video quality is very lq even at 1080p! No matter what I do it looks like I’m watching YouTube in 360p. You also only have the option for full screen or a small window. No theater mode.

I love the illustrator who’s class I’m taking! I just don’t think I’d recommend this to other English speakers for now.

Seems like a nice app but..
App seems nice to use, but why is this company advertising to US customers and not providing any English options for their app? The videos themselves have English subtitles, but their website UX is confusing...and sometimes after refreshing it changes to Korean with no obvious was to change language. No idea how to navigate the app itself.
아예 작동이 안돼요
미국에서 아이폰으로 앱 실행하고자 했고 페북으로 로긴했는데 guided access 메세지 같은거 뜨더니 창 하얗게 바뀌고 다음으로 넘어가 지지도 않으며 exit하려면 홈버튼도 세번 누르라 그러고... 미국에서 한국앱이 아예 실행조차 안되는건 처음봤고요. 결국 구경도 못해봤어요.
앱 내 구입도 안되고 동영상도 별로
강의만 구입하려고 했는데 인앱 구매로는 안된다네요. 암튼 구매 후에도 일시정지도 언되고 아직 서비스가 좀 미흡한 것 같아요.

Honestly, im a bit disappointed. The majority of the classes that I was excited to take don’t have English translations. The auto translations are very bad and make it practically impossible to follow a course. There are definitely some good courses in English, but I also found a lot of courses that were poorly made. The best courses for what I’m trying to study (digital art) are the ones in Japanese- and I can’t watch any of them because the captions are translated to English gibberish. Class101 should hire translators for their courses if they are going to charge $200+ a year for a subscription.

Customer service is wack
I love the classes here but the customer service is wack. I contacted them to ask how much I will get charge starting next month and they didn’t reply. Turns out I got charged for $169. I asked for refund and texted them multiple times still they didn’t respond. Feels like I got scammed because I can’t even contact them via email which I tried!! Just be careful
Needs English translation!!!
the videos are good for the most part but there are no english translations available in the app so it’s difficult to understand anything if you can’t read/understand korean. also, the camera in one of the classes i’m taking sometimes goes out of focus, which makes it very difficult to see what’s going on (it’s an art class).
