I played one game and the next advertisement said that my phone was infected with viruses and I should download their virus removal product. So I deleted the app.

No sound should mean no sound
Even with my sound turned off on my phone and within the app, the sound for the commercials has still broken through, sometimes waking up my newborn baby when I’m playing this game. Can you please change this so it doesn’t happen if both sound is turned off on the phone and the app. I shouldn’t have to lower my volume too.

The screen that says “Congratulations You’ve Completed the Weekly Daily Puzzle Goal! Choose One Prize”. You will never ever hit the 100 coin win… seems rigged to get a click.

Wins aren’t added to your profile anymore. Stats aren’t calculated and profile frames aren’t awarded. Fun to pass time with friends that’s about it. Devs have given up on it.

This game actually opened an ad that told me my phone was infected with 72 viruses. What bs is this? It’s a stupid way to sell something. The game developers are desperate to make a penny. Zynga should be banned.
Too many interminable ads
Great game but after each move you are subjected to ads. Some of them are exitable after a reasonable time but others require a reboot to terminate even with adblocking software. Very frustrating! Ad-free version is overpriced. We’re switching to a different platform.

Synchronize issue
Loved this game, played it a lot, even dealt with all the ads, but for the last 3-4 days it keeps saying “oops failed to synchronize” on every game so I haven’t been able to play. I’ve been talking to support for all 3-4 days and they haven’t done anything.
I still miss the original Words With Friends
I play this game because there’s no other option but it’s dumb. The original game was fantastic. I played it for 10 years. This game has been dumb down and filled with all kinds of junk. You can tell there’s a lot of set up so that you have to buy things instead of a flat fee. Oh well. Good stuff never lasts.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to come on here after deleting the app, redownloading it and then remembering why I deleted it in the first place- the ads! I used to play so much words with friends years ago and now of course every game is money hungry. The ads are ridiculous after every move you make there’s and ad. Half the ads you can’t even close out of if you try to , the window to download the app pops up EVERY TIME. I spent 3 minutes trying to close out of the Monopoly Go ad only to be constantly opening the download window because the arrows to skip cannot be clicked.

Solo Challenge Two Thumbs Down
To get free stuff from solo challenge, you have to continually delete the app and reinstall so you can complete the solo challenges.
