Great game but after each move you are subjected to ads. Some of them are exitable after a reasonable time but others require a reboot to terminate even with adblocking software. Very frustrating! Ad-free version is overpriced. We’re switching to a different platform.

Chat option is absolutely the worst change that was made to this game. The one previous to this one was 1000 % better. What made you think this was better? Makes me want to quit using this App.

I was playing fine before signing into my facebook account, then there were so many ads I had to wait 5 minutes between each turn. Not worth it.

Synchronize issue
Loved this game, played it a lot, even dealt with all the ads, but for the last 3-4 days it keeps saying “oops failed to synchronize” on every game so I haven’t been able to play. I’ve been talking to support for all 3-4 days and they haven’t done anything.
I still miss the original Words With Friends
I play this game because there’s no other option but it’s dumb. The original game was fantastic. I played it for 10 years. This game has been dumb down and filled with all kinds of junk. You can tell there’s a lot of set up so that you have to buy things instead of a flat fee. Oh well. Good stuff never lasts.
Ads make it in playable

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to come on here after deleting the app, redownloading it and then remembering why I deleted it in the first place- the ads! I used to play so much words with friends years ago and now of course every game is money hungry. The ads are ridiculous after every move you make there’s and ad. Half the ads you can’t even close out of if you try to , the window to download the app pops up EVERY TIME. I spent 3 minutes trying to close out of the Monopoly Go ad only to be constantly opening the download window because the arrows to skip cannot be clicked.

Solo Challenge Two Thumbs Down
To get free stuff from solo challenge, you have to continually delete the app and reinstall so you can complete the solo challenges.

Fun game but the ads ruin it
Fun game and would be willing to pay once for ad removal but $9.99 a month is overpriced. Deleted right away cannot stand an ad after every word you play.

Nonstop ads even when you pay
Don’t bother. This is laden with ads that play after EVERY turn and have deceptive “x” buttons that don’t stop the ad but instead take you to the store and loop you back to the ad over-and-over again. Only way to stop them is to pay $9 per month. Really ruins what was once a fun game.

Ads and more ads. A subscription model to remove ads at 10 dollars per month is outrageous. You highlight “free” in your terms of service, but the app is anything but free and further I personally hate the subscription model and would much rather pay a one time fee for rights to use the game. The freemium model needs to die! And more importantly add removal subscription at 10 dollars a month for a scrabble game is robbery!

These ADS are becoming far too annoying and hard to get rid of or move away to play. I’ve been playing this game and other ones for years and the fact we have to pay for no ADS. Is ludicrous. My option I can only see is to discontinue playing unless there are other options…..

It’s frustrating that you can only earn up 1500 coins. Really no point in collecting the daily prize if you can’t ever increase your coin total.
