I don’t like how the app takes over the entire screen and there is not a way to get rid of that feature. It used to not do that before. Very annoying.

This latest 26.x update both sucks and blows. But with the alarm app the suck-level is set to 11.
Somehow, someone, somewhere decided that while making the alarm “harder to turn off”, they’d also make it stupidly simple to turn off, at the same time!
With a simple swipe up from the bottom (like with switching apps), the alarms just turn off. No slide to the right, no click, no tap, no diddly, no squat. Just a simple, accidental swipe up is all that’s needed. And I mean barely a swipe up at all.
HOW is this an improvement ?!?!
Now just a simple fumble in the dark trying to snooze is all it takes and TURNS THE ALARM OFF!!!!!

Bad update
Ever since iOS 26, it goes off but doesn't make noise. I deleted all the alarms and recreated them, they only worked 1 day and back to not working. Stop changing the volume
My alarm sound is so loud even when my phone is on silent. I dont sleep with my watch on and I dont use the health app. With all these update my alarm sound is to loud!! Give the alarm app its own volume. Now I have to download another alarm clock. Sad!
Bug riddled mess
Timer consistently defaults to 1 hour and 1 minute even after I specifically set it to exactly 1 hour, and sometimes it decides to throw the extra minute on there anyways. Extremely frustrating.

Will just not play sound. It’ll show the push notification the alarm is going off but there’s no sound. All settings are correct bc I have 22 alarms go off reminding me of things every day as a mom of two with two jobs, and it is just random alarms within my 22. Lately it’s been my first wake up one, so I had to set one earlier than that and delete and remake it in hopes it’ll work. Been and issues for year on multiple newer iPhones. Getting a separate alarm app!

Why would you modify the alarms to work with sleep scheduling? Because of these unnecessary changes I’ve missed my alarm 3 days in a row. Who actually asked for this? I can’t see none of my original alarms. Every time I attempt to make a new one it disappears.

I woke up a 6:40 instead of five and had a panic attack I have ocd and I need to wake up it helps with my anxiety and compulsions and so this app is horrible
Stopwatch keeps glitching
Every single time I go to use the stopwatch, it’ll run fine for a few minutes and show on the dynamic island until it decides to stop working in the app. It’ll reset as if I never started it despite running like normal on the DI. I never had this bug on my 11, and I regret switching over to the 14 Pro. There’s hardly any good alternatives on the app store, and it’s extremely disappointing that a basic app can’t do its job properly.
Glitches almost every day when I use stopwatch
Most times when I use the stopwatch feature, the app will run in the background even though I close the timer or stop the timer. It’s very annoying.

my alarm was literally going off silently for over an hour past the time i was supposed to be awake, i’ve already adjusted everything in my settings to try and fix this issue but nothing has worked.

why make it so you have to very INTENTIONALLY swipe to turn the alarm off, to ensure we’re actually awake, but then any slightest accidental touch at the bottom of the screen turns off the alarm anyways? im careful with grabbing my phone now bc this has happened so many times, yet still my phone will accidentally slide to the camera or something, and my alarm is turned completely off????? why not snooze it at least! 🤦🏽♀️
Apple Music integration just doesn’t work at all
They make it seem like you can add a song to your alarm but you can’t, none of the fixes work. It doesn’t seem like this should be that big of an issue.

Terrible, dumb update
I used to have all my alarm set up and ready. Now, they’re all deleted and it’s forcing me to use the Health app to set up a sleep schedule to get my alarm.
This is legitimately stupid because any sane, normal person knows that schedules can change and one alarm isn’t good for every day. Please change it back to the old way where I can have my alarms without using the Health app

terrible update that erased all my alarms did not go off for me to get up for work causing me to over sleep and miss work as well as get my kids up for school. No warning about a new update that requires you to have the health app then it still does not work when you set it up the alarm is silent if you have your phone on silent terrible updates i am sure it may have caused a few to lose their jobs and i will be willing to bet a lawsuit is soon to come

I have slept in and missed work on multiple occasions due to the fact that ever since the 26.1 update, the alarms on this app go off without sound or vibration no matter what settings I change. I'm lucky my boss is extremely lenient and understanding, otherwise, I’d have been fired.

Apple developing team please provide an update to fix the ability to set a lower volume limit. The preset minimum alarm volume is too loud. Stop trying to control everything by dumbing down. This was never an issue until 2026. Went from loving this app to hating this app. Led me to purchase an old-fashioned nightstand alarm clock. I’m hopeful this will be resolved in the near future.

Bought a new 17 pro max and cant reliably depend on it to wake me up in the morning with it's built in clock app. You're better off setting an 8 hour timer to wake up to. Absurd. Thanks apple.
Won’t turn off
Before IOS 26 when the alarm went you tapped the screen and it was off. Now the only thing that stops the alarm is the side button. The slider doesn’t work. Very annoying Apple needs to get their act together.

This app ruined my life
This app killed my parents, it made me wake up late for school. When my parents tried to drive me, they were hit by a train. It was a miracle I survived. I saw Jesus himself. Why? Why does app turn off your alarm in the most critical moments? Then, years later, on a critical job interview, this cursed yet again decided to bare its fangs. I ended up being late to the interview, and now I'm a homeless bum on the street. My balls were viciously ripped off due to this app. 0/10 would not recommend, my life is in shambles and its all this app's fault.

Random days goes off without any sounds, even with multiple alarms set.
Extremely unreliable
This app has caused me on multiple occasions to sleep in because it randomly will go silent. I have adjusted my settings like they say to do and it keeps happening anyway. I had to use a different alarm app just to have the peace of mind that I’ll wake up on time.
Silent alarms
I don’t know why but for multiple alarms now they’ve been going off silently, or ring once then turn off. This has made me late on numerous occasions and I don’t understand why my alarms are selective when they work or not. I’ve tried changing this in settings, on the app, but nothing has changed and I’m still not hearing the alarm.

Stopwatch Failing
Terrible, used to be a great app. They should’ve left it alone now it’s always failing and things don’t work correctly like the Stopwatch once it gets to about 10 hours it somehow skips and goes to like 55 days and 32 hours.
Google Clock, I miss you
App store doesn’t have it and the Apple Clock is the worst Clock/alarm app I have ever used. You can’t set a specific date for the alarms, only repeated weekdays at most. You can’t mute/cancel any alarms in advance so that it skips that one time and auto sets the alarm for the next time. These are all features Google’s clock does. It’s overall harder to edit/set/utilise so I am downloading another clock entirely after trying for an entire year to make this one work. Don’t bother with it, it’s such a hassle to use and forces you to adapt to its VERY poor design rather than being updated.

Every single day that I set an alarm before 8 they never go off. They rather sit on in the app or float on my lock screen with no sound and it’s very frustrating.
Sucky
Set a timer for three minutes, move to another app, then back, and the timer resets to fifteen minutes. Deletes alarms randomly. Not user friendly.
