This app is absolutely atrocious with hitting you with AI add after AI add. Every time I need to critically access the camera to see time sensitive information as to what is triggering it. I am slapped without artificial intelligence. Add that I have to wait for it to load and through in order to get my camera and by that point whatever was there is already gone. What is the point of having this for security if you can’t even access it in the crucial moments that you need it. I understand that there is a bit of a delay when it comes to Wi-Fi cameras and that’s the price them, but there should not an AI ad popping up before anything having you navigate through it to cancel it out and then go to camera. You guys have to find a better way of implementing your specials or something because being hit with a pop-up as soon as you open the app is atrocious!

I have more than ample amount of storage space everything else on my other apps update but for some reason when I click update, it’ll go through the cycle and then never finish and then say update all over again what’s going on with the app?
Not good
Useless!!!! Can’t turn on the feature for motion. It automatically turns back off. What is the point of the camera if I can’t see who’s on my porch??? The updates are terrible.

The Hack: People use software like 🌟ONVIF Device Manager on a PC to scan their home network. If the camera is vulnerable, it will spit out a secret URL that looks like
rtsp://admin:password@***.***.*.**:***/live.
You take that URL and put it into an app like tinyCAM Monitor or VLC. Now you have a clean live feed with zero cloud pop-ups.
Sorry CloudEdge, if you’re going to be pathetic we’re going to have to jailbreak 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for the cameras!

Pricing went too far
I’ve been using CloudEdge for my cameras and everything was fine at first. The app worked, storage was affordable, and it made sense for what you were getting. But doubling the price from $3.99 to $6.99 per camera in a single year is excessive.
When you have multiple cameras, that jump adds up fast. Nothing significantly improved to justify that kind of increase. It feels unnecessary and out of touch with long term customers.
Because of that, I’m removing all my cameras and switching to a competitor. I don’t mind paying for a service, but the pricing has to make sense. This doesn’t anymore.

Don’t work
Can’t get this camera to connect to WiFi / phone no matter what we do. Even tech people can’t figure it out . Waste of money
Too many advertisement
Earlier way of excess camera was okay but now make it more complicated and once you touch screen than lot of promotional advertisements come up every single time open app .

Camera sucks. The app sucks the actual cameras suck. All I can say. Do not download nor buy from this company, get a better security camera brand not this cheap waste of money camera

Probably a great camera but can’t get it to connect to the network. I tried multiple times on different networks and it will not connect. I tried contacting customer service and they were no help at all. This is not a plug and play system as advertised. It is going back in the box and getting returned!
Worst software
These cameras don’t work and customer service does not get back to you. It feels like customer service isn’t there to begin with. My “send us feedback” within the app has said “processing for over 2 months. There is no one to talk to and trying to figure out a refund is ridiculous. I want to give it zero stars but I had to click on a rating to submit this.
GLITCHES
Every 4-5 days I have to remove my app and install it again because it glitches, so doesn’t show my camera at all, I ask for help to the site but they suggest to clean the cache of the app ando or uninstall it so I have to do this every 4-5 days , getting tired of this
Keeps Making Me Add Camera Over and Over
I don’t understand why I have to keep uploading access to the camera all of a sudden, it used to work flawlessly but not my camera isn’t appearing in my devices so I can’t see live view but just picture stills now. This just started happening and I’ve tried getting a new device, redownloading the app multiple times, and still this keeps happening.

Worked okay until the free trial ended for the app. Now the app is useless except for livestream. I have an SD card but it requires me to get a ladder to remove it for access of any video!
