Cant log in or make account
I have a new phone and tried logging in my old account couldnt made a new account using google instead of email because i didnt get the email reset and still couldnt log in making a new account FQA doesnt help whats so ever 🥲
Scam
Literallly, so annoyed at this app. It is impossible to cancel. They don’t have real customer support and all payments are managed through a third party who also doesn’t have great customer support. God forbid you use your Apple ID or hide your email when making your account - you will literally struggle very, very much to cancel your account. Couldn’t NOT recommend it enough.
enough popups
yeah it’s great and all that you’re doing the bare minimum and not selling our data but the amount of shilling you guys do for your premium plan is making this app unusable. i get that you guys need to profit but nobody is going to buy your subscription if it’s shoved in your face the second you open the app. i just want to check to see when my period is like ffs
Nearly unusable with ads
I’ve had this app for almost 10 years and it’s absolutely horrible now not even kidding 3 ads every time you open the app or even if your screen locks while on the app - the three ads open again. Literally fed up
stopped working in my country
always used that app i was happy about it. but stopped working. just can’t update any page. why you closed your service in russia? an ordinary person should not be responsible for politics that i didn’t choose and not able to change.

Ap looks free until after you download and set it up, THEN it paywalls you.
No Weight Tracking
I use the app for my cycle and health, as intended. I can I put my weight daily but no matter what settings I change it WILL NOT put weight in my analysis. I’ve looked up every bit of advice for the app and done it, no tracking works. Weight is health too. I’d have to go back and tap each day to see what my weight was in the past. For the price it’s a simple metric to track as it should.
Abortion
This app encourages abortion and warns of going to places other than Planned Parenthood for information because other institutions use “scare tactics” to stop you from offing your child. I cannot in good conscience use this app and want to warn any others out there who think life is life. Dont give them your business.
The pop up ads are annoying
I’ve been using this app pretty much every since I started my period about 10 years ago. I loved the app but the only reason why I still continue to use it is because I’ve been using it for so long and don’t want to restart with a new app that might not be as accurate. A lot of the things that I used to use are behind a pay wall now which honestly isn’t a problem because I just want to know when my cycle is coming. The most annoying thing is the constant pop up ad trying to get me to pay. Like sheesh it pops up at least three times each time I use the app which is ridiculous. I see the developers responding to others with the same complaint saying that it’s the members that keep the app running and that’s fine. That statement rather true or not does not justify the constant pop up on the app. A banner at the top or a pop up every once in a while would be sufficient. Every time I open the app and multiple time before I get to track is ridiculous. I’m honestly just considering downloading another app and dumping my data into it or running it concurrently with clue until it is accurate enough because gosh am I tired of constant advertisements./ Update after seeing that their response is probably pre generated as they have said the same thing to me that I have seen said to others I will be moving my data and deleting the app. I found a new app that also has a premium version but isn’t all in my face about it like clue. To anyone reading save your time and frustration they don’t care and won’t change just move to something new.
Doesn't work offline - scary
Clue is alright except for the glaring issue of not working offline. So often I have tried to update my cycle data when I have no internet (on a frequent flight, for example) and the app is totally inoperable without a cellular or wifi connection. When I scroll up more than a few months, there is lag while it downloads my data because ALL of my data lives in their cloud. The data is so minimal - years of cycle tracking is the digital equivalent of one high-res photo. It's very simple. There is absolutely no reason I shouldn't own my own data, locally, on my phone. The app would run so much faster, and I would feel so much more secure. Instead, it feels like I've contributed years of cycle data to a company that is doing who-knows-what with my very personal, biological history. They don't actually need to store users' cycle data on their servers, so why do they? Creepy.
Pop ups

We can see that.

So disappointed
I have been using clue since i was 15. I am now 28. The fact that I log into clue and saw it now locked insights that i used to have access to behind a paywall is extremely disappointing. I have no problem paying for deeper insights and actually have when they first introduced being able to track symptoms and experience es long term. To have information that i find to be basic with the app now behind a paywall to have to pay $120 a year for??? With nothing new added is beyond ridiculous. So sad to be leaving this app as so found it to be the best once upon a time. i refuse to pay for basic features. Do not get bamboozled the price is not worth that.
Stop saving data remotely
I resent the fact that every developer thinks they need to save customers’ personal data on their remote servers in order to provide their service. I don’t want to do that. I want to save it on my device. I don’t care how strong you think your security is; the builders of the titanic thought it was pretty strong too.
The only cycle tracking app I’ve been willing to use is Cycles, because it only requires an account if I want to use features that rely on it (like syncing data across devices). But, now in perimenopause, I need a different set of tools. Unfortunately, having to create an account is a dealbreaker, so Clue isn’t going to cut it.

App going downhill
I used to love this app! I have used it for several YEARS. However, they have put so many things behind a paywall the last few years. It used to be a great free app and resource, now it lacks the free features it once had, and constantly tries to get you to sign up for their plans.
Not as good as it use to be
I’ve been using this app for around 7-10 years now, and I remember when it was refreshingly simple; no ads, no paywalls, just a seamless experience. Back then, everything was available without a need for subscriptions and it felt like the app truly prioritized user experience. But as of late years, the shift to an ad heavy, subscription based model has been incredibly annoying. It feels like the app is more focused on revenue than on supporting its users’ needs.
Like why can I track an already available free option but I can't learn more about said option that you are ALLOWING me to use for free?? So rediculous. Technology use to be for our benefit. Now? Turned into a benefit for revenue profit.

Of course women need to pay for a subscription just to know more about their body. It isn’t free. You can track your period but that’s literally it.
Tricky, bad navigation.
You can mistakenly try free trial but then you can’t find where to unsubscribe (I didn’t intend to use this app) . Not even you can find how to contact them.
This App Won’t Stop Flirting With My Girlfriend
This app sends my girlfriend flirty notifications and now she thinks it cares about her more than me. She claims she gets more notifications from them than me. When asked if she was cheating on me with this app she responded “maybe”. When reading a review that said “It knows my body pretty well” she responded “yeah it does 😏”. WTH Clue!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I USED to love this app. THE ADS, GEEZ, THE ADS. Every second. Tired of it. Uninstalling.

I love the idea of this and wish I could use this app but it isn’t compatible with my Garmin watch… 😭
Incredibly aggravating experience unless you pay for it
The app itself works well enough, but you will get a full screen ad to upgrade to the paid version every 2 clicks you make. Many times, you close one ad to find another full screen ad behind it. Whoever thinks this is an effective sales strategy is delusional.

Inappropriate Notifications
Tracking works well but sends me notifications like “you are entering your luteal phase, learn more…” this is during work hours. I don’t want to have my phone face up at work and have my coworker glance over and know what my body is doing. You can’t control the time they arrive or turn these promotional notifications off unless you turn off all notifications so now I don’t get period tracking updates.
PLEASE decrease the upgrade ads
I have used this app for years and found it very useful. But please stop asking me to pay for it every single time I record things for the day. Sometimes multiple times in a day. It’s too much.
UPDATE: it got worse. Now it asks me if I want to upgrade right when I open the app, sometimes with two different pop ups in a row. Then I record what I want to record, and then it asks me AGAIN. This is absurd. Today I got the same pop-up 3 times in the span of using the app for about 3 minutes.
Update after developer response: Yep, obviously I understand why there’s a paid version. That wasn’t what I was complaining about. It’s that if I open the app and get a pop-up, then log something and immediately get another pop-up, that is actually only hurting the chances I will ever get the paid version, because it is so annoying. If I have just received a pop-up, giving me another one 30 seconds later is completely pointless.

It’s fine
I haven’t used clue in years but was excited to start again. But the fact that I have to close out of the pop up to subscribe to clue plus multiple times in the 60 seconds I’m on the app to log is way too much.
UI/UX
Long time user. They have been making their “close ad” X button intentionally hard to see more and more recently. Bad practice by their UX designers if it is intentional. Or it’s a skill issue if this is not intentional.
Great UI, Misses the Mark Clinically
For years, this app has been one of my favorite period tracking apps to use because of the clean UI! However, there are a few things that I think need improvement. 1) The app counts cycles shorter than 24 days as abnormal, while ACOG states cycles as short as 21 days are still normal. This discrepancy has caused me to get multiple stress-inducing alerts about my cycle length and variability being abnormal, when it actually isn’t. 2) There should be more clarity about predicted ovulation dates and “your period is late” warnings. The late period warnings show up based on your averages, not based on actual ovulation dates (which can vary and influence cycle length). Education or disclaimers that accompany “your period is late” notifications about how the timing of your ovulation impacts the length of your cycle could be helpful for reducing stress. After years of using this app, I recently switched to a different one because of the stress these abnormal / late warnings caused me. In my case, neither of these warnings that the app gave me were actually meaningful or accurate.
Long time user, now switching
I really loved this app and have been using for years. The suddenly it started pushing ads for the paid service on me. I don’t know of I had a subscription that lapsed or what. It doesn’t matter. Anytime I open the app. “Do you want the paid subscription?” Any time I log something. “Paid subscription?” Any time i switch tabs in the app. “SuBsCrIpTiOn?” It is obnoxious and I’m looking for an alternative app now.
Amazing!…but pricey
I wish I could afford it - I have PMDD - but $40 a month is a bit high for me. If you can swing it, this app looks like it can really help with monitoring, predicting and studying your moods and symptoms.

Great app but why limited integration?
I was so excited for this app and loved how it notified of abnormal cycles but what gives with its wearables? It’s limited only to their partnered wearables like Oura and their Apple Health connection is a joke because it won’t allow you to read/write any symptoms, only menstruation. I couldn’t connect my Garmin or Ringconn at all so I cancelled my subscription.
