Lately, cannot see as much as i used to. Barely anything. Can see more about friends than myself. It's becoming like patterns need to pay for everything. Would love the old version to come back. Have the same complaints about a friend who uses the app.
Intentionally Upsetting
Over the course of the last few months I’ve noticed my daily horoscopes take a dark and dramatic turn. I added my best friend and partner and now it’s telling me my bestie is a horrible backstabbing person and my partner has been plotting to leave me and I need to break up with them. I never got readings like these before and I have no idea what happened to this app but I’m no longer a fan. There are better options out there that don’t use vague AI phrases to make you distrust everyone in your life.

Very negative daily readings
I have had this app for 6 yrs. I usually bypass the daily readings because it didn’t seem alingned. I started paying attention to what the readings were saying everyday and it was always a negative message or undertone that is not uplifting. Even when the message is possibly welcoming, there is a lot of negativity associated with it. The only thing I like about this app in my 6 yrs of paying attention to it is the way you break down the transits. The readings are ragebaiting and should not be used because you are psychologically messing with people’s minds and identities in such a detrimental manner.
Encouraging self sabotage
All the horoscopes this app has given lately have been so NEGATIVE and harmful. It seems like costar is run by a bunch of sad lonely people who want everyone else to be just as miserable. Almost every horoscope reads as “your partner isn’t putting in the work, cut the ties!” That’s so unwarranted and it’s not even just me, family and friends also said they got the same kind of horrible negative horoscopes pretty much every day. Don’t waste your time, find a horoscope app that will lift you up instead of tearing you down.
Gave me bad answers from the void
Terrible app, said I'm never getting married, never will be satisfied, and I won't be able to date my girlfriend for a long long time :(

This app used to be good, used to provide horoscopes about your home life, friend life, love life, work life, etc but now that’s either gone or hidden behind a paywall. I’ve also heard this app just uses AI for everything. Deleting app.

everything used to be much more detailed and thoughtful. now it seems like it’s always about relationships, and you have to pay for pro to go “in depth” if you want to know anything more than the 2 sentences they show you on your home page. seeing compatibility used to be free, now it’s $5. $9 any time you want to read “today’s long read”.

Won’t Let me In
Terrible, every single time I try to create an account a notification comes up that says “Interplanetary Connection interrupted”. I thought it was a username issue so I kept making them more and more absurd, but it still doesn’t work. I don’t understand the issue.
Error creating my account.
For some reason, I cannot make an account. It just keeps saying that there was an error with creating my account. I’ve tried numerous times but it just repeats the same message. If someone can tell me or assist me please.
Can’t get past sign in
Would love to love this app. My best friend uses it and it looks amazing. But I can’t get past the phone number and username. It keeps telling me there is an error in and to try again later. I’ve tried several usernames thinking that’s the issue but it’s not. I tried redownloading the app and that didn’t work either. :(

it won’t even let me create an account? like i’ll put all my information in, and it’ll say there was an error creating my account and to start over. which i do, and then it STILL won’t work. and i’ve seen it happen to other people too!

I am trying to create an account and when I get to the page to create a password, it keeps saying that an unexpected error occurred. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app and it keeps happening. It makes me exit and start over every single time and every time it gives the same message.

There hasn’t been one day that relates to me in the slightest. You can tell it’s just random general quotes and motifs that they hope people relate to.

It was good, at first
I like this app a lot but it also created or changed my chart data randomly to something entirely incorrect. This throws off my readings or messages of the day making the app ultimately useless.
Can’t sign up
I’ve tried signing up like 10 times but it keeps spitting out an error message and sending me back to the beginning. Deleted the app, reinstalled but keep getting the error message.

Consistently wildly inaccurate, short, vague. I frequently have the exact same 1-2 sentence horoscope for multiple days in a row. I never really find anything accurate in my horoscopes. I really need to reach or think creatively to try to make these horoscopes apply to any current situation. They all seem to make up problems that aren’t relevant to my life or situations, and they never seem to see any big changes coming whether they’re positive or negative. Other apps seem to be able to regularly predict a major event or coming change with ease. The “pressure and strength” fields are completely off. Mine say the same things every day and they don’t relate to my experience at all. They mention various things to watch out for that I never encounter. I’ve been reading my birth chart horoscopes for more than a decade from several sources, some better than others. The costar app seriously leaves me wanting, so much so that i frequently skip costar and go straight to better apps. I can’t even view my spouses horoscope without paying for a custom friend slot or making him register his own account on his own device, which he refuses to do which is why I read for him. weird. I’ve used Daily Horoscope on and off for 15 years and while that one can be a bit off at times, it is extremely accurate and specific semi regularly. The pattern app has the best and most accurate readings consistently, it’s just a bit all over the place and feels hard to navigate the app. I just deleted costar as I realized the only reason I open the app at all was the quick reference natal chart, so I took a screenshot and deleted the app. I don’t know why this app is so popular. I’ve never encountered anyone irl who recommends it, and many instagram psychics give better, longer, and deeper free public horoscopes than I ever encounter here. Plus at least IG psychics are real people, not AI 👎👎👎
A bit extreme and edge-lording
While I like the design and layout, I feel like this app is trying so hard to be edgy and provocative that some of its insights are harmful or just plain odd. It’s hard to tolerate when in a bad headspace.
Overrated
I had this for a week and every single message was so negative and kept pushing the fact that I was “lacking” when I already have a lot of friends, amazing career, a great love life and family life. It kept assuming the worse and would generate the same replies to my friend’s. It’s not zodiac accurate. All these good reviews have to be fake
Stop using AI
Stop using AI. Get a brain. You’re ruining the planet, the horoscopes aren’t particularly accurate (often nonsensical), it’s not the edgy vibe you think it is, and the app is just kinda… trashy. Like, the whole thing is grossly pretentious

I have been using costar almost since they came out, watched every update come and go. Unfortunately another good app gone down the drain from personal astrology to corporatized vomit that doesn’t even apply to the user anymore. Some people remember when we could send kind messages or suggestions about the app, or many other features we lost due to the development procured moving forward. It’s sad to see that a good source of knowledge became not only inaccurate but indubitably they threw a paywall into it as well, sounds like a joke.

The update sucks
I’m really disappointed with the recent updates. I used to open Co-Star for daily horoscopes , and the you page but now those features are either gone, buried, or stopped by a paywall. You ruined the app with being greedy for money !!

Costar keeps changing platform w updates that don’t make sense impacting user experience and accuracy of information. For example now when you click on “friends” and then “updates” where you would typically see info on transits to composite with three tiers of useful information (power, flux, pressure), then you could forecast out two additional days - this was clean, user friendly, and informative but now after the updates it has a random compatibility meter (which should be under compatibility if you’re going to keep that feature) and then you can only see the current days transit information and readings. Since the updates have be felt very limited with what I can do and experience with this app. Disappointing.

Never answered I have been emailing them for months
I absolutely loved Co Star because it was extremely so accurate and I’ve been using it for about. I would say 2 to 3 years and it really disappoints me that I have to come on my favorite app today and put a one star, but to be quite honest with you I’ve been extremely disappointed with the company itself.. I’ve been paying since last year of 2025 and even 2024 for pro star and it has never worked for me. I’ve reached out to them multiple times and honestly, I am so dumb. I don’t know why I would continue to pay for something. I just thought that maybe they would reimburse me and help me with the situation and they kept

I have contacted Lea multiple times from costar support. she has failed to follow through with the multiple times that we have emailed and has started a new chain every time because I would always go back to the app and just submit another support ticket when Lea wouldn’t answer and then Leia would just say hi Jazzz send me screenshots. I’ve sent her screenshots multiple times. We have so many email threads. I’m beyond shocked that they really do not respond to their customers. Their whole app is glitching for me and it’s taking such a long time to get a hold of them so maybe a review will help them reach out to me because I’ve spent countless hours fixing.

The main feature that I would check has been removed in the update. Not much to bring me back daily or weekly as far as relevant updates anymore.
Last updates wrecked app
I’ve had this app for years and have loved it until the last 6 months, these latest updates have completely ruined the app. At first the for you page gave so much insight, they changed that and now you don’t get that. Now they took the extra daily insight with friends. I’m giving them one more update and if it’s not fixed I’m deleting the app.

Not Worth It
After recent app updates, anything that provides more than very superficial information has either been put behind a paywall or deleted entirely (daily updates??). Even paying for ProStar doesn’t provide enough features to justify paying between $50-$120 a year. It’s just not worth having anymore.
It use to be great
I paid $30 and received nothing even when I emailed I got nothing. Every time they update the app they make it worse. All the fun stuff that used to be there is gone.

What a waste of money!!!! I spent $5 on a compatibility report and they just gave me like 2 paragraphs of the same regurgitated BS they show on the daily. What a waste of money. I thought I'd be getting a detailed report that actually went into all of our signs!!!??? Not 3 sentences that are already shown on the basic compatibility chart. What BS I want my money back now.
Disgustingly cruel
The notifications they send are so horrible. Why would anyone need to be told to give up, or be prompted to antagonize themselves. The creators of this app are sick people. I could see them driving someone in a fragile state to suicide and I hope they get sued into oblivion. It’s pretty gross that apple promotes it. The aesthetic is cool, but the language they use trying to sound “edgy” is pathetic.
