I got this app and am disappointed that an annual $50 fee is required for full access. The description didn’t mention limited availability unless you pay, so I’ll probably delete it and find something else that doesn’t require such a high price.

Garbage app, not worth money. Should be free.
Checkout “Bartender: Cocktail Recipes” instead
This app could use some work. Hasn’t been updated in 5 years, old design, the make me a drink feature doesn’t really work, most drinks are paywalled.
I found a waaaay better app - Bartender: Cocktail Recipes. I’ve been using this one instead.

Why?
When I renewed two months ago, ALL of my previously saved, cocktails, and data have disappeared!
Good, but has terrible subscription
No update in 4 years yet still no updates? How is a subscription justified? App has had no content updates and both free and subscribed are getting nothing. They should remove the subscription and just put it in maintenance mode.
Waste of money
Got charged the premium fee but all the premium drinks remain locked

Selected a full bar of ingredients and it said the only thing I could make is a non-alcoholic mimosa. Fail
Absolutely poor
For a bar that rotates about 36 different ingredients the unpaid app provides recipes for a whopping 8 drinks… even though they are using your data and selling it you will be forced to pay for the app if you want an additional 9 recipes. 17 drink recipes for fee. I don’t think so. Not for me.

I added the free version of your cocktail app. When I discovered the cost and limitations, I went to delete it from my iPhone, a pop-up appeared offering me a one-time fee, which is what I was looking for as I definitely would not agree to a monthly/yearly subscription. But after I sent in my money, I soon discovered I *still* couldn’t open most of the cocktail recipes available on the app.
Please send a refund.

Avoid downloading you can’t view recipes unless you pay
this lacks some of the most basic bar essentials
i couldn’t even add most of my cordials.
Abandoned Software
This software has been abandoned. Any added recipes you add via the Premium feature is unexportable. You’re trapped in a dying app and have to move recipes manually to save them. Stay away.

I would happily pay $10-$20 for access to a full catalogue of recipes. A monthly subscription model is absolutely nonsense.

If you bartend for more than a month you’ll have a list of drinks that aren’t on here, and even a shortlist of ones that aren’t incorrect.
On top of that, some cocktails you have to buy premium for in order to see the ingredients!

Basic and blah
Entered all my bar ingredients and supplies and got lots of recipes. But basic. For example, I have four gins in the bar not just “gin.” As well as a variety of everything else. After seeing the results, I tried ChatGPT - I shared the varieties of gins (used to compare), fresh fruits, liqueurs, mixers, etc and bam! Chat returned a slamming recipe with variations based on the gin brands. The $25 I paid for this premium app was a waste. Can’t believe I didn’t use AI to begin with. 🤦♂️
Nothing I Look Up is on List
As a new bartender, out of the 10+ drinks Ive looked up, only one has showed up. This app doesn’t even have a Long Beach, Johnny Vegas or Sweet Tart on there.
Overrated
This app doesn’t list half of my selection. Has the basics but it’s sorely lacking in selection.
Lame
Half the cocktails are hidden behind a pay wall. Find another app.
Not robust enough
I went to add the things I have in my pantry. Tamarind juice- not an option. Mango juice - not an option. Okay, fine, I’ll select from the listed items I do have. I gave this app 24 different ingredients and it still couldn’t recommend a single cocktail I could make with them.
Expected more
Honestly.. this was rated so high that I even decided to get the yearly membership and now fully regret it. The options for drinks is not wide enough, it calls for certain types of alcohol or mixers. It doesn’t let me explore new stuff. It really isn’t worth the $$
Search function misses the mark
I searched for “Gin Campari” and the results was none.

I like this app so much but I felt like I had been cheated on when I realized they have a FREE website with MORE cocktails and the PAID app has less and many more bugs. Womp womp 😡
Lots of incorrect recipes.
Mai Tai, Marg, Aviation, all have incorrect specs. Lots of other cocktails on this platform have incorrect recipes. I understand the appeal, but for anyone that takes cocktail seriously. Beware.
Sells your email address
You have to log in to create an account/use the app. I decided not to keep the app because if you want to add what you have in your liquor cabinet, it requires the paid version. However, the next day, the email address I used to sign up has been spammed repeatedly. I recommend creating a dummy email account to use this app.

Opened it and searched for a “Cherry Blossom” cocktail. Though it found a match, it would not show me the ingredients without paying money for premium.

So this app is great, but only for certain recipes, not everything. They didn’t even have a “Sidecar”
Wrong recipes
Liked it until I looked up how to make a rum runner while on a bar shift as a new bartender and was left so confused and needed help from a manager.
It has the completely wrong drink listed, and now I’m just too afraid to use the app.
