Annoying bug in Portfolio
Update: I got a developer response to send them an email and provide more information for them, And I did. But since then I didn’t get any feedback. So I changed my rating to 1!
Review: It works correctly when I supply assets on Aave or trade using Uniswap. However, after swapping some tokens to GHO and staking them through Aave Savings, the portfolio charts and PnL calculations become incorrect. The system now shows a 99% loss, even though it properly detects my staking position in the DeFi tab. The DeFi toggle is also enabled in the PnL calculator.

Frustrating
I have had CoinStats for sometime… It has never had my numbers correct. It says I don’t have a cost basis for certain assets… I don’t know how to go back and fix this, I don’t know how to speak to someone to understand it and get help. I would like to close my account and start over and see if it can get it correct… But getting assistance is near impossible.

Please change back the option on the converter part. I want to see if I invested x amount of money in y coin it’s in usd not stupid Bitcoin. At that point I need a coin converter for my coin converter? Makes absolutely no sense. Forcing people to use things they don’t support is wild.
Forced Ads Unacceptable
I was a paying customer but just uninstalled because of the forced ad when opening the app. There is no way to close the ad, and to access my paid subscription portfolio I have to click through a multi page ad every time. This is unacceptable when paying money for the app. Taking my business elsewhere.

I downloaded this application to check it out I didn’t authorize for them to try and take payment for premium upgrade and they keep try to take money from my account I want to get rid of this app so they can stop trying to take my money I not making money with this application

I strongly recommend avoiding CoinStats.
The app feels outdated and increasingly irrelevant. It doesn’t properly recognize creator coins or many newly emerging meme coins, which makes it pretty useless if you’re active in today’s crypto ecosystem instead of only holding legacy assets.
The biggest issue, though, is billing. There was no clear warning or reminder before my annual membership auto renewed. I was charged a full yearly amount for a service I no longer use, with no meaningful opportunity to stop it in advance. Customer support simply points to policy rather than showing any flexibility or understanding.
At a time when people are already dealing with real financial stress, this kind of silent auto renewal is unacceptable. Canceling only prevents future charges, it does nothing to address the money already taken.
There are better tools out there that are more up to date, more transparent, and more respectful of users. I won’t be using CoinStats again.

Takes 20 seconds for app to open.
Slowest app on the market. Time to find a new app. Used to be fast now it’s like DSL speeds. Wrong prices.
Unrealized gains
The app does not connect to mainstream wallets like a Arculus and does not properly calculate unrealized PnL. Waste of money

Everytime I open the app now it sends me to the browser with a ad it’s annoying.
POOR Support
Takes 3-5 days to get a response from support… and they don’t address questions. You’re pretty much on your own for figuring this app out. I still can’t figure out how to have multiple portfolios / groups for different wallets and they never addressed it. To see my P/L is the whole purpose of getting this app and it’s completely off. I will be asking Apple for a refund.
Can’t cancel, can’t get a human to help.
I have repeatedly attempted to get them to stop charging my card. My premium account was cancelled months ago. It was easier to change banks than get a person from CoinStats to reply and help.
NONEXISTENT customer service
I had all of my transactions over the past 5 years in this app. It worked great until it didn’t. I got locked of my account out last month and tried every possible way to connect with customer service and nothing worked.
The "all time" PnL formula is completely wrong
I've honestly been telling the support team about this for years now. The all time formula is completely inaccurate. It simply takes the value you started the portfolio and compares it to what you have now. Doesn't include buys and sells along the way. I had to re-enter all my transactions into CoinMarketCap to finally get the right numbers.
Hacked
It's been over a year since this app was hacked, and the silence from the developers is deafening. We've received zero communication about why or how the hack occurred, nor any information about the possibility of recovering our funds. This complete lack of updates is deeply concerning and frankly, unacceptable.
Be careful!
They will renew and bill you without notice. No email reminders and will argue with you with questions why you are trying to cancel service. I’m having to file with my cc. Beware.

Manual portfolio tracking data completely wiped didn’t do anything different other then open the app.
BEWARE! Crypto scam
Nice app and features. However, this company offers the ability to “connect your wallet” to the service to automatically track your assets. The problem with this is that they somehow get the keys to your wallet (in my case TrustWallet.) CoinStats had a breach in 2024 that drained over $2 million from connected wallets. I gave them a year to investigate, but they never communicated how it happened or made amends. Buyer beware!

TERRIBLE COMPANY THAT STEALS YOUR MONEY.
The app calculated all my gains and losses incorrectly. I cancelled and deleted it years ago yet they claim I still have an account and charge me every year without any notification. They refuse to refund me because their policy is to cheat and steal rather than have a good product or customer policies.
I can’t access my account because they won’t reset my 2fa. But they’re more than happy to keep stealing from me. How many times do I need to ask for it to be reset???

Poor Service
I have paid for the premium service for several years. I renewed my subscription at the Apple store and the app is still not letting me access my data. The company does not respond to email after 6 days.
Extremely disappointed after the latest update
All of my portfolio data is gone, and now I have to spend hours manually re-adding all my coins. On top of that, some pages in the app won’t even load - and I’m a premium user. This is unacceptable for a paid service. Please fix this urgently.
Do not trust!
No notification of any kind was received about Premium subscription renewal and they charged account anyway. Unwilling to refund charge which they were contacted about within minutes of making it. Poor customer service! Do not trust.
New app version
The new update which they forced me to do does not improve on the app whatsoever. I can no longer see whether my coins in my portfolio tracker are improving or not on a daily basis they used to show up red or green, depending on the performance that day and now it’s just white, which makes no sense because the 100 coin tracker shows red or green, depending on the coins performance for the day. Very disappointed in their changes.

Paying for Premium and Still Getting Full-Screen Ads
I’ve been using CoinStats for about 3 years and I’m finally fed up.
I pay for the yearly Premium plan, yet I still get ads, including full-page ads that block the app until I close them. I’m constantly clicking out of popups just to get back to the main screen. If I’m paying for Premium, I shouldn’t be dealing with any of that.
It’s also buggy: trackers don’t always update when I hit refresh. Half the time I have to tap to another screen and come back just to get the numbers to update.
Between the full-screen ads on a paid plan and the unreliable refresh, I can’t recommend CoinStats anymore.

They renewed at 3x the original price. Then had the audacity to tell me I should have read the fine print. I have a software Company and someone isn't happy with the charge and it's within reasonable amt of time I just return the money. They will be gone in no time with AI coding apps. These practices are inexcusable.( the yearly price they show you now maybe renew for $330. So be ware.

Support was semi helpful…maybe one email a day with a link to some coinstats support that proved useless. Lack of engagement with attempting to help me or even just checking in to see how my experience was going along was just disappointing. The app looked appealing had it worked out, but nah. Ended up cancelling subscription. Still in search of a more customer-centric experience.

Used to be 5 new update really killed it
It never loads right now and also they hid the news in a secret compartment in options i really hope they fix it back to the simplicity we all enjoyed before. I been using coin stats 4+ years and in the last year they really have ruined it the app gets worse and worse with every update they really should have kept it simple there is a such thing as too much and this app has long crossed the too much garbage point. My advice to anyone reading that likes simple crypto data go to coin gecko its still pretty decent, Also they force updates every few days very annoying also like it is riddled with bugs
Swap feature not working
It’s kinda sus that the swap coin feature doesn’t ever load or work. Fix it!!
Cool animation BUT I’d rather see my balance
Idk if I accidentally tapped something or if this is some weird update but all my balances are now animations and I can’t see them. I basically have no use for the app now. Why would you do that without showing either a clear way to toggle it on/off ??? Or if this is some upgrade feature- make that clear.
Widget issues
The widget doesn't work, I get no assets multiple times listed so its just a black screen to randomly showing up. I updated the app and removed and added the widget, but no luck. Frustrating app. Transactions are showing up as new buys when they are just transferred from one portfolio to the other. Even though the portfolios are both in my profile.
Greed
Now that I’ve gone through the trouble of adding all of my wallets, you expect me to pay a subscription fee to gain access to viewing my account again. Classic greed, classic bait and switch.

This app is incredibly inaccurate. The watch widget just makes numbers up too. Completely useless imo. It has a lot of potential but it’s currently useless.
