Do not buy cards on this app! So many people willingly try to sell you fake cards on this app and Collx does nothing to penalize anyone from selling fake cards. They refuse to refund you for almost any reason that they can find.

I reported it multiple times and they responded by banning my account. The developer claims harassment isn’t tolerated but the only people that can ban users are the owners of the app. Stay away!!!

I have never written a review before and I honestly can’t emphasize enough how bad their support system is. Tracking cards is horrible they use separate tracking that doesn’t show up in USPS system. Will never issue credit for labels they provide that are refused for insufficient postage. Countless problems and absolutely no support everything will be your fault. If you’re trying to sell go to eBay

Even if you pay for pro, they will not help you resolve disputes. They will give a generic AI response that is no help. Save troubles because when USPS has issues (they will), it will be your problem. $40 worth of cards shipped but, they still refunded the buyers

AI listings / customer service rude
Conceptually the site is great, but it’s run badly. A seller was using AI to slop-list his ards, then if you purchase- he sees if AI listed it at a price he likes and if not (in my case) He cancels order. And sellers disclose they are doing it in the description. So it’s just pointless. And when I brought it up to the “priority customer representative” He was pointlessly rude. When I pointed out he was incorrect on something, he ended the chat without a word. Just feels like they’re running this out of somebody’s garage. We’ll cancel after we use our current buyer credits and go back to ebay, which at least feels like a proper business.
So many bugs
I honestly gave CollX a fair shot. I was a rookie buyer/seller but now I’m leaving the app. There was not a single day I used the app that I did not experience some type of issue from broken filtering, down to a broken scanner. The app would freeze a few times a day. Basically if I wanted to use CollX I would always make sure I launched it fresh. Don’t even bother with the filtering because it only works half the time. Also switching between your collection and your listing should automatically update the filters to show you the cards you have for sale or not for sale, I should not have to do this manually. Especially for ten bucks a month. The app has potential but definitely feels like it’s still on the early QA phase. I would not link my bank account with this many issues. Maybe in a year or so it will be worth revisiting but imo should not be a paid for app with this many issues.
Got banned
I put in my email clicked enter done with everything did not do the upgrade and then got permanently banned for no reason it said I did something in the guidelines, but I didn’t even have the time to do anything

CollX has a lot of potential, but the app still needs serious work.
The biggest issue is basic functionality - I wasn’t able to update my shipping address, even after getting orders refunded. The app shows the option, but nothing actually saves, which leads to unnecessary cancellations and wasted time for both buyers and sellers.
The marketplace idea is great and scanning cards is a cool feature, but problems like this make it hard to trust the buying process. If you’re going to handle payments and shipping, core features like account settings need to work consistently.
Fix the bugs and this could easily be a top-tier app. Right now, it feels unfinished.

Does not recognize cards
Just scanned a Ryan Sanberg Topps rookie cards. After 5 try using a black background to place the cards with little glare. Came up Gary Matthews, finally came up for Ryan Sandberg, but it said it was an 85 fleer.

collX responded to me promptly. They said to use the scan feature. 3 times I scan a 2025 Luis Gil golden image and it could not recognize The card. Maybe it’s me, but use another app and it recognize tue card from a picture. As mentioned earlier maybe it’s me and doing something wrong, but so far this experience with this app is horrible. Card recognization errors
I really want to love this app. I’ve been uploading my whole collection of 5k+ sport cards, Pokemon, yugioh, etc, however there is a problem in this app which makes it pretty much unusable. Whatever AI or code scans the cards from the pictures needs severe work. Out of all my collection, around 90% of scans either match the wrong card or just error out. Even the advanced AI pro recognizer is the same, may I even say worse, at matching cards. Basketball was nearly impossible to upload - and I had to do much of it by hand. However, Pokemon was unusable. Just got a handful of cards matched correctly out of my 1k Pokemon collection. Yes, just a few cards correct out of 1k. Around 50% errored out and the other 50% didn’t match correctly. Even tried different lighting but to no luck. I also have the newest iPhone so camera is not an issue. Super super sad and hope they get it fixed soon.
Update: Bought pro with the ai scanner - still is not working. Have contacted support but still no answers. The issue is happening with both vintage and modern cards. Vintage it gets the card wrong while modern is just unrecognizable.
Update 2: After spending hours on customer support to no avail, I have come to the conclusion that I must type in every card manually from now on. My success rate has dropped even more after getting pro, with now getting around a 1-2% success rate of it getting the card right. I may just delete the app and start from scratch somewhere else. Would NOT recommend you upload your collection unless you have hours to fix the apps mistakes.

No seller accountability
Sellers on this app have no accountability. They don’t update their postings, they don’t follow thru on purchases, and there are no consequences. As I buyer, dealing with sellers on this app is extremely painful. Save yourself time and pain and buy elsewhere.
Can’t identify the card
I would scan a NORMAL BASE card and this rare card (sometimes the same player) pops up and it’s worth whatever! Like why is finding a base card so hard! I also rarely give one star reviews.
Don’t use any way of signing up besides email.
Don’t set up your account with Apple ID or anything other than your email even though it gives you the option. Everything is locked before email verification and I used my Apple ID as login. Scanned 100s of cards and can’t do anything on the app. Tried to work with support to add my actually email but unable to message support unless you have your email set up. Tried to create a new account and I can’t. Forced to go to other apps.
Horrendous
I have thus far scanned 5 cards-and not super uncommon ones-and the app has pulled up different cards as comps every time. And I’m not talking slightly different, I’m talking see player but entirely different cards. This app is entirely useless

I’m not sure where all the five star ratings are coming from. The first three cards I tried to scan came up as completely different players/cards.
Counterfeit
I bought 10 cards thinking I would be covered on this platform from counterfeit/fake cards in 2026, i was wrong. They make you send the fake cards back to the seller and then the mail lost my cheap return label, so I am now out over $100 for literally nothing. COLLX NEEDS TO START BANNING COUNTERFEIT SELLERS AND HAVE THE BUYERS BACK, RIDICULOUS!!!!IF YOU WANT UNAUTHENTIC ITEMS AND SUPPORT SHOP HERE
Problems
This app has a wrong email address associated with me that I NEVER CREATED and I can’t change my email address with out getting a notification number emailed to me from this app. And I am obviously not receiving said notifications number because it’s sending the notification number to the wrong email! I just started this app and it’s already being pointless!

I have had soooo many problems with the database. The A.I. seems like anti-A.I. most of the time. If you want to add 20 cards to your collection, you better clear the whole afternoon. Least intuitive system, EVER
A Failed Experiment
So I decided to set up shop, as it were, and list my collection on here for sale/trade. From the moment you create your shop, you’re peppered by “ambassadors” that try to build you up on the site’s perks and compete for your first sale. Once you actually sell a card to them, however, they vaporize from existence and will ignore you and any further message you send any of them. There’s clearly some kind of incentive for being a new user’s first buyer. Then you get into the meat of the app:
1) You are completely buried in advertisements to go Pro. They will literally pop every few listings and every single time you log on until you do. Just sign up for the free trial and cancel to get rid of most of them (although now they John’s users for their newest Pro tier).
2) The seller market is a ghost town. So many users aren’t active anymore, and the system still lets you make purchases from them. The issue? If you don’t file a return within 30 days, CollX keeps the money you spent on the card and you can’t get it back. Supposedly it’s paid to the seller, who isn’t active anyway so they won’t ever get it, but this is a mechanic that clearly needs to be changed.
3) You get a $10 store credit per month as a Pro member, so that easily explains why the ambassadors are willing to buy a cheap card from you. However, you can’t take the money out. Why? They require a $10 minimum transfer amount, AND they take $2 of it for every transfer as a fee. The $10 card I sold only paid me $7.20 after fees, and I can’t even remove it until someone buys something else. Even if I finally raise $10, I’ll only get $8, meaning I only made a paltry $5 of that first sale. I’m the months I’ve been on since, that remains the only sale.
CollX is nice if you want a catalogue of your cards and don’t mind relentless pop-up marketing to view it. Otherwise, leave it for the hardcore collectors that buy $100+ cards from each other and find a better place to sell your cards.

Kept trying to charge me 9.99
Was simply trying the app out and it kept trying to charge me $9.99 all someone accidentally has to do is have pay with Face ID and it could be potentially be charged. Happened like 3 times, super shady greedy common
Refund dispute
DO NOT USE OR SELL CARDS ON THIS APP. I sold someone a valuable card (180) . He asked when he’d receive it I told him I’d send it asap. He received then saw it was delivered and he immediately tells me someone used his account to purchase the card. I don’t have the tools to verify so we asked Collx and he asked his credit card to investigate fraud. I disputed the refund until resolved. They then told me they would investigate and get back to me. Don’t hear anything for almost two weeks. Then all of a sudden I get told that the card is refunded I am out the full amount and I don’t have the valuable card in my possession. First of all, How can you refund something when I don’t even have the card back? Second of all I reached out to Collx support because there’s no where to see the resolution or the refund process. Third of all. I get told that I’m the one that “accepted” the refund, did no such thing. Fourth of all, I reach out to their awful support and don’t hear back for actual days. They only respond once per day it seems. I am out $180 dollars and the card apparently because someone else fraudulently purchased a card. Now I am liable because of that? What the F is going on with this app, buyers and sellers beware.

I got on this app to sell some of my older basketball, football and tcg cards. First two sales went normally smaller cards no big deal. My third card was a Kobe Bryant card. $20 card shipped in a CollX provided pwe label. Packaged correctly as I have multiple 1000s of sales across eBay Mercari and tcgplayer. The card made it to the buyers post office via tracking. Then nothing. I communicated with buyer. Never showed up. We took it up with CollX customer service. He asked for a refund I escalated it to support. They said to wait a little longer see if it showed. I reached out two times more times after that to support to get help. Never got any. At this point I moved on $20 whatever I stopped selling on this app. Then almost a whole year later they randomly let refund the buyer. So I reach out again asking about compensation. (Since most platforms will compensate both parties if you use their tracking and labels). Not with CollX first they told me there was no proof I sent the card…. I then supplied them with 8 screenshots of tracking scans messages etc…. Nope I don’t get compensated almost a year after all this because it doesn’t say it was delivered. So seller beware. This platform will NOT have your back under any circumstances. I have deleted the app and will never use again.

Absolutely worthless
Every card that I have tried to scan has either come back with a player from a completely different sport that in no way matches the player are says not found and to inter manually if I wanted to enter everything manually, I just write it in a piece of paper. i’m glad I signed up for the free trial instead of paying for a full year for something that doesn’t work.
Keep saying unrecognized
So I was just trying to scan my cards to put them on the marketplace, but it just keeps saying unrecognized unrecognized unrecognized. It was so annoying and I couldn’t even see in my cards then I was just thinking about you and ChatGPT, but that couldn’t work because I can only scan one card every day yeah and I have like 100 cards so I’m probably more so yeah it sucks. I do not reckon.
"Banned" before I could log in for the first time
Installed, entered email, confirmed new account then the app opened to a page stating I was banned for not following community guidelines. I haven't even been able to try the thing out yet. Guess I'll find another app.
Terrible apps to many scammer
I lost a $250 card in part of a trade with a scammer on this app collx support did absolutely nothing and was no help. This app is terrible. I recommend no one downloaded it.

Lazy App! Developer does not even try to fix it!
CollX is the must laziest app I have used, on a short note. I have only seen one reply to a person who reviewed it! One!? I have seen more apps who are more helpful than the stupid CollX app! Let’s be honest, I have seen most of the reviews saying how they were banned for zero reason! If this happens to me I will literally lose my mind, I sold a Signed Alec Burlsen Card and might get banned for this, however. This game literally will make you try to buy pro by popping up for a couple cards you scan, and to make it worst, the add a 500 card limit. Okay, I am fine with the ad to try to switch me to pro is fine, but adding a 500 card limit is the last straw! I swear there are more people who have 500 cards than total reviews written. Also! It scans cards incorrectly! It once scanned my Eagles Free Safety as a Saints Cornerback! And barely scans 5 cards before not understanding them, but for all you Pokémon lovers out there, this app does not scane Pokémon cards! I understand that this is not a perfect app but how do you see White Green and Grey as The Saints??? You don’t to a normal football fan! And now it does not understand Pokémon? Great Job CollX, you made my most hated app ever, Overall. I hate this app more than I hate the Dallas Cowboys and hope someone sues the CollX app for all the money people have lost on banned accounts!

Horrible customer Service
The in app customer service never works. They refer you to Pro app customer service and then they always tell you to email customer service. The service members are rude and do not communicate with one another. Me and others have had frequent issues with getting our monthly credits. They never take responsibility and it takes weeks to get responses. It’s no surprise people are going to other apps. Horrible business.
Update: They contacted me MONTHS after my issues. I’ve already canceled and moved on nearly 6 months ago. Thank you. This app is proof of concept that every that can make an app maybe shouldn’t.

I used to think this was the best app for card collecting and then…
I was enjoying this app like no other. I was telling EVERYONE that thought about Card Collecting for a second that they would need this because it does everything for you. But after a handful of months I’m getting familiar w things again. I realized one day that out of the 102 cards I scanned 98 had to be edited because it was the wrong parallel. I couldn't take it anymore so April 30th my last day w these guys. My advice don't settle, try a few out and give it a week and go w what fits you and your needs. #SorryCollx #ImOnlyBeingReal
Glitches
When trying to scroll through my collection it starts to glitch and I can’t scroll it just keeps bouncing from all the different names…. And I noticed some of my saved cards don’t show up all together when I sort by player…

The scanning technology on this app is not reliable. You will also need to go thru a lot of card types just to label your cards correctly.
Do you like fees with your fees?
This app is only good for sharing your collection digitally with friends. After selling a few things and getting hit with fees several steps of the transaction and the fact that the shipping label did not actually cover the shipping I had to list stuff elsewhere. They say it is the lowest selling fee around but between extra shipping and withdrawal fees you will end up paying 20%-25% in fees.
It’s an ok app.
If you have a problem on this app, which you most likely will, support or “priority support” will not contact you for days! There is no form of support on the app and most times when you do get in contact they “escalate” the problem but it never is resolved and they take days after days to respond, to be dealing with money, this app should have better support
