App Makes Contacting the Bank Very Difficult
The CommBank app’s help/contact function appears to be designed to steer customers only to the woefully inadequate Ceba chatbot and chat staff. Chat staff have horrendous wait times for responses, often around an hour but sometimes longer. Westpac, as an example, allows customers to choose whether to chat or call - and even lets you call into the bank fully-identified so you don’t have to spend more time verifying who you are once your call is answered.

Multi device bug
It says up to 5 devices can be registered, but current device credential is always removed whenever I set up the app and credential on a new device. And there is always only one device listed in the registered device list. So basically I have to decide to use the app on either my work or personal phone, but not both.
Worst update
Why did you change the easy to use app with some crappy features that I don’t neeed. Revert back to original layout

Updated it two days ago and haven’t been able to open it since. Please fix!!!!
New transaction notifications bug
This app has worked well for two years but just started doing something really annoying: every single time I go to my savings account, the app makes me choose to turn on or off the transaction notifications. It doesn’t remember that I just did it yesterday or an hour ago. It’s driving me up the wall. Please fix this!
1 star, asked to reregister but can’t get netcode sms to US number
Tried to login and received a message that I needed to reregister. Netcode sms doesn’t work with my US number so I can no longer send payments to new accounts as I have to skip this step during registration.
Tried chatting with ceba, that was no help, actually gave me incorrect information that I could receive a netcode push overseas. This would’ve been great had you not de-registered me.

No netcodes. Awesome.
Forget about buying anything time sensitive online! I randomly stopped receiving netcodes and can no longer buy anything online until I go through the inevitably frustrating experience of dealing with CommBank technical support.
This happens at least once a month. You'd think they'd make the most important part of their service work correctly!

Dirty investor
We need corporations that stand up for people & the planet. We need clean green energy & companies that invest in it. To date, Commbank has not done the right thing. But they can turn that around. Now.
App constantly crashes
While its convenient to make payments through this app, it often crashes right after I transfer a payment which is worrying and an inconvenience.
Furthermore, I cannot see my transactions because the app also crashes as soon as I try to open the month-by-month records.

Not working with ios9 update
😑 whelp it doesnt work with ios9, ive reinstalled the app even. Works just fine till i actually log in. The moment my account is logged in to the app, it will consistently crash. It doesn't even load. Click the app, and it crashes literally the very next instant, cant even load the opening screen.
Kinda need to access my banking while I'm on the run. Extremely annoying that my banking app of all things, wasn't updated with the os. But hey I can still play Candy Crush because thats what matters hey 😑.

Astonishingly, incompatible with ios9. You'd think the largest bank in Australia would have had its app ready, given how long developer previews have been out.

I could access to my account via safari without this app. It should be independent app.

As an app, it's useless. You load it up and are given the option to login, which launches safari, or find your nearest ATM/bank, which replicates going to the maps application and typing 'commbank'. Why would anyone use this?
No native support
I don't see what functionality this app has for checking balances besides simply including a web link.

Re: confirming my transfer
I have call several times but can’t get a customer service to assist that can help with my inquiry? Have to change to apps communicate still no result! My question is I got confirmation no but it was pending and it did not deduct the amount

Every time there is an update for this app, if deletes my client number which I ask it to remember.... I'm living overseas at the minute and this is very frustrating!!!
