Eine der veraltetsten Banken, mit denen ich je zu tun hatte.
Im Jahr 2026 ist es einfach unglaublich, dass man für grundlegende Anliegen immer noch Briefe per Post schicken muss, anstatt alles digital zu erledigen. Jedes Mal, wenn es ein Problem gibt, wird man nicht über die App oder das Online-Banking unterstützt, sondern aufgefordert, einen Brief zu schreiben und mehrere Tage zu warten. Das ist extrem ineffizient und frustrierend.
Ich habe keine Zeit, 5+ Tage zu warten, bis ein Brief ankommt, bearbeitet wird und ich vielleicht eine Antwort bekomme. Banking sollte heutzutage schnell, einfach und digital sein - vor allem, wenn ich bereits die TAN-App nutze (die übrigens auch nur per Brief aktiviert werden konnte… absolut lächerlich).
Das gesamte System wirkt, als wäre es in der Vergangenheit stehen geblieben. Schlechter Service, langsame Prozesse und keinerlei Fokus auf die Kundenerfahrung.
Definitiv eine der schlechtesten Bankerfahrungen, die ich je gemacht habe.

Wenn man die App benutzen will, dann muss man ständig erst ein Update durchführen, bevor die App überhaupt nutzbar ist. Für dringende Fälle, in denen man Informationen zu seinem Konto braucht oder Überweisung durchführen will, muss man erst ein Update machen, bevor die App überhaupt nutzbar ist. Absolut unzuverlässig. Stornierungsformular entfernt
Kunden, die ihr Konto kündigen möchten, müssen das Formular ausfüllen und per E-Mail an die Bank senden. Danach müssen Sie anrufen und 30 Minuten warten, um einen Kollegen zu erreichen, um Ihnen zu sagen, dass er das Konto nicht kündigen kann.

Won‘t increase the 2000€ credit card limit - no reason provided
Using the in-app customer service with multiple re-directions didn’t help increase the unjustified low credit card limit. At some point I‘ve been asked to call the card‘s customer service which wondered why the CS diverted me to them. After re-trying the the in-app support I‘ve been asked why I keep requesting it since they told me it is not possible, which is not true, I‘ve only been forwarded from CS to consultant, then to card‘s own support and then back to CS. I‘ve spend in total more than two hours without being provided with a reason for the rejection.

Terrible app
This app is terrible. It fails to update in time and it is way worse than apps for BUNQ, N26, and others like it.
Find another bank

Was initially very happy with the app but it now hasn’t been working for over a month and no one has been able to tell me when this will be fixed. Very disappointed

After upgrade it doesn't seem to work
After upgrading my iPad to the latest iOS the app doesn't work anymore. It starts up but then immediately closes again. While it still shows as an active running all nothing happens when I switch to the app window.
Inter-account transfers impossible
I have used the app for some time now and it seemed to work fine.
Since the latest update I cannot transfer money from my current account to my credit card account. The screen shows up where I get to choose the "from account" option but the app will not allow me to choose the "to account" option.
This is extremely frustrating, especially since I am traveling and that this is such a BASIC function! So annoyed!

Would love it if English was added as an option just like the website.
Disappointed
I wish I could give this bank no stars. Absolutely zero customer service and fees for everything. Tried their online banking but they want to see me in person to make any changes to my own account. They make being a customer painful. Very disappointed.

Aufruf an alle die unzufrieden sind mit dem sogenannten Service. Nehmt das Angebot an und verlasst die Bank gibt 100€. Die hole ich mir.

Lächerlich
Die Commerzbank ist bei online banking einfach stümperhaft. Nichts funktioniert, die Anweisungen entweder falsch oder kompliziert, und das ganze Interface design nicht zeitgemäß.

Crashes constantly, shows "daten werden geladen" for hours on end, doesn't store you PW. Pretty useless, better use your computer to begin with...
Digital input is broken for money transfers. Numbers will not show correct placement of comma.

For example, one CANNOT set up a standing order to an IBAN of another European SEPA country. To do that, you still have to visit a branch!

Bad app design!
Payments are not shown instantly, one can not know his exact balance at the same time! Some payments appear and disappear for no reason!

1) faceID has not worked since OS13. When I try it tells me to call the service number. So I always have manually input my password
2) one can not change the amount being transferred. I have to leave it, input the ref number review all info then click on the amount in order to change the value. So I need to go forward then step back to go forward again. One should be able to just click on the euro value and change on the first go.
3) this is a small one but has bugged me since the beginning. When there is no reference number the font color being used to prompt the user to enter one, is a light grey, hard to read and it’s ugly. I would suggest making it white.
