Going downhill
We have used this app for over 6 years and it has steadily got worse. The pictures are constantly oriented incorrectly. No matter how the phone is held the pictures will randomly be 90 deg or 180 deg off. We only use it in our shop and have multiple devices logged into the account. It is constantly logging people out. Just had a price increase and no increase in product quality. Was hoping for more from this app.

I was the one that pushed for us to use CompanyCam here at our company, and after MUCH advocating I was finally able to convince our board of VPs to invest in this application… I am now on the look out for a new platform with similar services. The GPS feature is TERRIBLE. It’s a bait and switch because it comes off as it will helpfully since it GPS tags a location and quickly comes up as you get near the project site… but it is LAUGHABLE how inaccurate it is. Often I stand right in front of the site and it gives me surrounding address across the road ONLY! Ridiculous. This would be an amazing, time saving feature if it worked. Also, this app limits the camera zoom capabilities… why? So odd. Also, when one takes a picture, a box slides up from the bottom of the camera view preventing you to fully see your next shot… again… why?

Even in 5G+ mode after two hours only 14% of a 3min video has uploaded and if you change screens or the screen saver comes on it stops and requires you to restart from the very beginning. Extremely frustrating app
I stay at one job site
I have to take multiple pictures at a job site over several hours. If I close the app, it forgets where I am when I need to take more pictures. If I haven’t left my job site, and my phone monitors where I am. Why can’t company can know where I am. I’ve mistakenly put pictures in the wrong folders as it opens in an unrelated folder. I get called on it down the road. Fix this.
SURVEILLANCE STATE
The amount of data this app collects is absurd. Employee tracker should be the actual name. Since when did Americans become so accepting of surveillance. I quit my job over the invasion of privacy

I literally can’t even upload a photo from my phone and it is very hard to find what I’m looking for on the home screen unlike the last version… I used to love this app now I almost cannot stand it
Too many issues
Ironically today I couldn't even log into my app until just now. Shuts down army often. Takes a while to upload. Get your phone super hot and shut down the phone. And after you edit a photo you have a few second delay while it's trying to tell you that your edits were saved when I really don't need to see that I'd rather just keep moving.

I have to use this app daily for work and I can’t stand it. Works maybe half the time, the interface sucks, and godforbid your phone updates the app. This will be the 3rd time I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall this app.

Difficult to navigate and I’ve lost my templates (that don’t go away with updates, yet are missing).

Faulty page
I wasn’t able to sign up because on the sign up page your unable to move from answer slot where you put your name , email address, and password. The computer or laptop might be different but the mobile app doesn’t work!

I love the the app and the idea but a lot of my photos are missing from job a lot of the time if this was fixed this would be the best app
Annoying
I signed up for a free trial just to evaluate the service, and instead of being allowed to test it peacefully, I was constantly harassed with phone calls pushing me to sign up. Multiple calls during a trial period feels intrusive and unprofessional, and it completely turned me off from the product. A free trial should give customers space to decide on their own, not pressure them with nonstop sales calls. Because of this experience, I would not recommend the Cam App.

Have used Compnay Cam for a year. We pay $150.00 a month to store photos. Company Cam does one thing really well. Stores photos. The rest of the ‘features’ could be good if they were usable in a way that didn’t pigeonhole you into formatting your lists in a way that makes no sense. Help isn’t clear. You have to schedule an online appointment for a tutorial. I work in the field, not in an office so this isn’t useful. If you look up the YouTube videos, they are somehow less helpful. I can make sense of it. If you are looking for a project management solution, this isn’t it. First there is no calendar or timeline. WTF. The tasks and checklists section is horrid. Can’t import your templates, but good luck building anything usable. And forget doing anything in the field except take pics. ‘Oh but it has AI walkthroughs for field notes!’ I spend 15-20 minutes editing AI walkthroughs and reports. The ‘AI’ is more like dictation. Have had conversations with support. They don’t get it. It doesn’t appear these people have ever worked in construction. I can also tell you it’s the best one I’ve found, which is sad.
Not working
Yesterday it stopped working it will not upload pictures. Caused me a lot of time and money. Please fix asap
Always freezes or crashes
Unbelievably frustrating, this app has frozen every single time I have opened and attempted to use it. I can open the app and complete one action and then it will freeze or crash.

I hate it when they change the layout and way of doing everything making me have to relearn how to use it. It’s a waste of time, app makers should stop periodically scrambling everything up and then calling it innovation.
Update
New CompanyCam update is absolutely atrocious. I love the old version and was way more user-friendly from a management standpoint. I no longer have the access or set up like I previously did even after watching the new set up. Please change this back to the old version.
Didn’t work for me
I couldn’t even get my logo to upload correctly. The app shut down several times when I was just testing it. It is a great idea, but if I am going to pay $300/month for 3 users I don’t have time to be on with customer support just to upload my logo. It just kept telling me “couldn’t save” or “uh-oh, something went wrong”. It could be because I was on an ipad, but that is all we use in the field.
Harassing customer service
Downloaded the app. Was immediately bombarded with phone calls and texts constantly from these people. I get enough of this, don’t need to be harassed constantly 5 seconds after downloading app.

If i wanted to leave a review I would, program needs a lot of work within the optimization category. You guys constantly harassing me to give you a review every time i open it isnt ok. Do better

WHY COMPANY CAM, WHY??
Dumbest app sometimes, it’s incredibly aggravating to use in the field which is the whole point of the app… every time you click out of a form field you’re forced into the edit field page which takes 15 seconds to load, and has added countless hours to my reporting over a couple month span. Then, there’s the horrible picture tagging functionality - WHY on EARTH would I be able to tag multiple photos at once? Wouldn’t that just make way too much sense? They have the functionality built into the app already when you’re taking pictures to put into a form, but the SECOND you click out of it (and wait for the edit page to load for 15 seconds) your ability to tag more than 1 photo at a time is gone… It’s genuinely the dumbest, least thought out application I think I have ever used and I genuinely wish I could give it a 0 star. 1 star is too generous. Engineering team should be so disappointed in their Frankenstein creation.

The app seemed to come highly recommended. I came to download and try it out, when I saw the latest update having to do with Tayler Swift I now have second thoughts about trusting this company with my business needs. To be fair my bad review is without having tried the app. Just disappointed to see a professional company couldn’t stay professional so I refuse to try it.

Wyatt from senior sales laughed when he heard a woman was working with me. Then tried pushing a $300/month plan onto a business that’s just getting started.
This company seems far more focused on aggressive sales tactics than building real relationships with clients or potential clients. Being pushy in sales doesn’t make you persuasive, it just makes you a bully with a title.
The app has a lot of potential, which honestly makes this experience more disappointing. Do better.

Changes not good
Company Cam was pretty good until they did their latest redo. It went from intuitive and easy to use to the opposite of that. Whoever did your new UX/UI design took you backwards.

Functions and bugs in app
This app is very glitchy at times, it tends to have bad service a lot (bad WiFi connection). The app erases word content a lot and or doesn’t pick up wording very well. Some picture don’t upload until next day making nuisance as we have to take time to go bad correct old work.
