This USED to be a great game. However, the following negative changes over the last few updates ruined it:
1. Requiring connectivity to play. There is absolutely no reason for this other than to spam with ads. Goodbye playing on flights or in places where there is no or only sketchy wifi. Exactly where you WANT a game.
2. Hugely increasing the number of ads, including DURING a puzzle. Infuriating and baffling. It breaks your train of thought and you have to see an ad after every single level anyway. Another obvious cash grab that demonstrates zero understanding of how players even use their game.
3. Changing how earning hints is structured so you have to watch even more ads. The ad-for-coins instead of ad-for-hints is another blatant cash grab.
4. The word group quality has vastly decreased. There are several misspellings, some of which change meaning. It feels like a particularly stupid AI has been used to generate the lists. And incentivizes yet more ad watching. See the theme?
Doubtless the devs will reply making excuses. If they spent half the effort they do actually understanding players and fixing the game as trying to manipulate reviews, they might have something. Too bad this is a cash out and run game. Could have been great. You guys failed.

Just wow
I’ve been playing this game for a little while now. Don’t get me wrong I like the challenges and all but what happened to paying for a certain amount of hints? Now you need 900 coins for 1 hint? And it costs $2 for 1500 coins which is still ONLY 1 hint That’s ridiculous! Please change it back!!! Sheesh

Fun play but …
This is a very interesting and engaging game at first, and definitely worth trying. The concept is appealing and it draws you in quickly. However, as you spend more time playing, some of the word associations start to feel inconsistent or don’t always make logical sense, which can be frustrating.
The biggest downside, though, is the number of ads. There are simply too many. Ads appear extremely frequently and often pop up right in the middle of gameplay, interrupting the experience. While it’s understandable that ads are a primary source of revenue for free games, the current level feels excessive and takes away from the overall enjoyment.
In short, it’s a fun game with a lot of potential, but the overwhelming number of ads and occasional lack of coherent associations make it harder to fully enjoy over time.

Went from 5 stars to 1 star. This game is full of ads, which I tolerated because I LOVED playing this game. The game used to give you free hints to help when you got stuck; however, now you have to use coins to get hints. If you don’t have enough coins you have to watch MORE ads! And the worst part is most of the hints are word groups that you already know. So terribly sad that I will not be playing anymore. I would not recommend now.
WAS a great game
I have over 400 levels complete and loved the new monthly events but the new “must get an add to continue playing” made me mad and I have now uninstalled it. I’m understand the need to make money and I would do and ad or 2 a week when stuck but….I liked it without the ad break garbage. Sorry. Was a great game
App no longer working
UPDATE: Another update has been released but this issue has still NOT been fixed, so I still can’t play the game at all. I sent the email to app support as requested by the developers, and yet still no response or update on when the game will be fixed. Feels like this issue is just being ignored. I will keep sharing this until this is fixed.

A decent game, way too many ads to begin with, so I played while on airplane mode. With the latest update the developers have now blocked the ability to play while on airplane mode. This removes the reason why the game was enjoyable- deleting.

This game might be ok if you could play it for a bit without a million ads. The “ad breaks” are almost constant and are very disruptive. It’s simply an ad ,a Hine mechanism and not a game. Don’t waste your time.

Changing back to the previous capabilities will bring back previous gamers, and future ones.

I spent most of the game watching ads than actually playing. Next level, ad! Almost done with your current game, ad! Need help, ad! There’s an ad for anything you do. To make it worse, the ads are very long. I finally had to delete the game because all the time I waste watching ads!
Boo to the new changes!
Not liking the new changes in April/May 2026. The puzzles are too difficult with weird uncommon words. I have to google way too many.
I do like that I can build up coins for use with suggestions but the puzzles are more complex, sometimes with several words that could go together. Making it impossible to solve without google and using coins.

I really enjoy the game itself. It definitely makes you think since a lot of the words can come together but aren’t the answers. I did have difficulty with the pieces moving where I wanted them to. Sometimes they would not move at all. The whole playing field was frozen.
Unfortunately the biggest issue is the ads. I never complain about ads. I know bills have to be paid one way or another. This is ridiculous though! Ads popping up whenever, then more ads with the “tap on the shoulder” that another is coming. Then some of those ads freeze. Playing takes concentration and having ads popping up ALL the time makes it makes the whole experience not fun. I’m going to try and find a similar game with another creator. I play other games from y’all and don’t have an issue. So why this.

What did you do? Now you have to buy hints? Sometimes watching ads were a pain but I’m not buying coins to get a hint! Most often the complete category is not on screen without hints. If this continues I’m out

I really did enjoy playing this game for a couple minutes, but having an ad pop up after every one or two games is excessive and they’re not short ones. Wish there was an option to purchase an ad free version. I get that’s how revenue is generated but it’s too much.
Used to love this game
BUT, the recent update changed the colors and how everything looks, and now it’s soooo ugly 😩 it would be so nice if there was an option to switch it back. I used to sit here and play this game for hours, but now it’s not satisfying enough to deal with all the ads. Not saying that everyone feels the same as I do, but it’s disappointing that my game looks entirely different and there’s no way to change it back to how it was.

The word associations are often ambiguous and new words in some puzzles don’t drop until you make a combination into a broader category within the puzzle. Also the ads are too often and too long. Some ads never end, forcing you to close the app and restart. I’m deleting it because it’s just too annoying and not very logical.

I love this game! But the ads keep getting worse and worse. Recently they have been popping up every few seconds. It’s almost unbearable. It’s truly unfortunate because even even my kids like it and a teacher saw us playing it and said she was going to share it with her class because she found it educational.

Too many ads, during and in between games. So many words make no sense in categories either in British or American English, special added categories don’t understand the meaning of “alphabetical”. Loved it at first, but now I’m irritated by too many things. Deleting.
