I added all my accounts manually which took about an hour. When I tried progressing, it wanted to charge me. There’s no free version and it doesn’t tell you that it’s a paid subscription app. If it told me from the beginning that I wouldn’t have been able to use the app without paying, then I wouldn’t have wasted an entire hour for no reason.

Doesn’t work at all. UI is absolutely atrocious. Complete waste of time setting up accounts because it doesn’t track half of them.
You can’t bulk rename transactions
This is almost a good product. But out of the box two features ended my time with it.
First, you cannot bulk rename transactions-e.g., my gas purchases come in with the store number such as Arco #134. I want to search for all transactions with “Arco” in the name and rename them all to do that.

These are such basic capabilities that I worry about what harder, more important features I’ll find missing later.

Overhyped and underwhelmed
I bought this app based on the “AI” it contained. The price was very high but I bought in. Bad move. $100/year for nothing more than is available for free. Typical marketing scheme gimmick. Never again. Update: they replied claiming some “AI” used in predicting categories. Avoid this scam. Terrible use of the advertisement. Unlikely they even are US based.

I have Revolut and Chase half of my things are on Revolut and after all the process Revolut is not available…what is the point of this app if the main provider are not available.

Lots of bugs
I gave it a try and ran into way too many problems. Account linking process was unclear and glitchy. When it finally populated my data I was unable to assign new categories to the transactions. That made it unusable for a budgeting tool so I gave up after several hours.
One of the most disappointing apps I’ve ever used.
This app looks nice, but it’s inflexible, unclear, and not user-friendly. The help content is extensive but disorganized and often off-topic. It’s hard to make adjustments or corrections, add accounts from the same bank, and the logic for transfers, internal transfers, and credit card payments is confusing. I canceled my subscription and delete the account after 9 months of honest use.
No transaction rules
There’s no way to rename everyday transactions or create rules based on amounts unless it’s recurring. There’s a bunch of numbers and letters following the merchant and even with recurring it doesn’t always recognize it. Other apps use ai this way. Why not Copilot?
Terrible app
Tons of bugs. Customer service doesn’t help you and transactions will duplicate and you have to erase manually. There is a lot bugs with trying edit categories, and I tried to fix it all but it started wasting more time than being beneficial. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to spend their money on this platform.
Cannot import historical Quicken data
What good is a money management program if you can’t import your past financial records. It may be pretty, etc. but it’s worthless until you use it for a couple of years and have a history for analysis.
Such A great app
No offline or personal access unless you use the demo. Otherwise MUST go online and sign up for yet another account + password for you to be tracked and to get hacked or leaked.
I got this to save money not spend it
I downloaded the app and starting setting things up, then it asked me to pay a obscene subscription for the basic use of an app that most use to save money. I do not wish to use the money that I would more than likely be trying to save on an app that should be free. I understand trying to make ur buck from the app but it really feels greedy and feels out of touch. Please at least make it cheaper like $5 a month.

I am trying this app but I am not convinced. It claims to auto-analyze the transactions but it doesn’t, it creates rules to categorize the transactions but you cannot edit or modify the rules or create rules on demand. The budget items aren’t very intuitive, specially the income. Everything is an expense when you categorize it.
I am trying to be generous, so I am giving the app another couple of days but so far not impressed.

Malfunctioning App + Terrible Customer Suppory
I liked this app when I first started using it about a year ago. Unfortunately, after a few months my budget began randomly changing even when no new transactions were added. I contacted support and they acted like they were going to fix it, so I renewed for another year ($100).
Six months later the issue is still not fixed. A budgeting app is useless if the numbers aren’t accurate.
Support has been completely unhelpful - just generic responses with no real solution. They also refused to refund the renewal even though the core feature of the app is broken.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this app. If you want a budgeting tool that actually works and has responsive support, go with YNAB instead.

Other apps are far better
They keep clearing my review so I’ll keep reviewing it. Used to be so smart with transactions now it makes the same errors over and over again. This app is aging. Used to be the cool new kid on the block but no functional new features for quarter after quarter. There are way better apps out there for features. Go look up Origin. AI in it! Actual new features every quarter! It’s like copilot just phoned it in to make money and stopped innovating. I’m gonna let my subscription expire and go to Origin next. You should too.
HSBC not supported
It does not support my HSBC accounts. So I have to manually register my movements. It’s so frustrating.
Deleting it
I’ve been using this app for couple years, but now I’m deleting it because I’m tired of the glitches. Sometimes it doesn’t show the transaction, very often you need to reconnect your accounts and then the double transactions appear
Stealing from Disabled person
I literally have no idea what this app is. I’m disabled and have no use for a budgeting app that cost $100 but they took out of my bank account when I request requested a refund for an app that the meditate is going to show that I’ve never used. They refused to give me my refund. It’s insane because I would never download a budgeting app when you live on $600 a month you know where every penny goes. The fact that the company doesn’t just see to it to give a refund to a person requesting a refund the day the charge is made obviously even if I had use the app I wouldn’t have been satisfied with the app otherwise I wouldn’t have done that, but you want to penalize people just for downloading the app. Oh you better remember to cancel your subscription on time or we’ll keep your money that’s lowdown.

- Transactions recently started getting duplicated, requiring a lot of manual cleanup.
- It's not possible to skip forward to future months for planning ahead.
- Automatic categorization of transactions only works half the time. It never seems to "learn" which transactions go where, even on recurring transactions with stable amounts and dates.
- Recurring transactions are frequently mislabeled as standard, causing constant managing.
- UI is generally unintuitive and confusing. Setting up new recurring transactions is a nightmare workflow.
Overall I think Everydollar is much more polished for a similar price.

Counter-intuitive and dumb App
I’ve wasted money on this Mac app for several years. Just tried to figure out what i’m paying on insurance. well guess what. it doesn’t notice all my Blueshield payments as insurance (or any category). So i try and select all in transactions and assign to insurance category. guess what doesn’t work. impossible. and even after making a rule (using partial match) doesn’t detect and assign category to the transactions. this app is bugged and really dumb. last year i waste money on this garbage. Cancelled.
Needs better UI
Its a good app that pulls the right data and its well priced. But how they show you that data and more importantly how you customize that data is sub below par. Can't remove/hide items in their navigation bar and also can't add custom budgets for categories (or rather its hard af to figure out how to)
Feedback pop ups are constant
every time i open this app now it asks for app store feedback. i thought apple limited the amount you could do that
Needs to be morenuser friendly
Could be really useful if i could figure out how to change the budgets. to a simple person just trying to manage a simple budget, this was not user friendly to figure out. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to of back and delete certain budget sections, and theres so many categories on the main page i had no idea what it was telling me about my finances. Just, no. I miss the old Mint finances app. That was extremely straight forward and user friendly. This app is set up kind of like that which is why i downloaded the app but this is like a way more complicated version. Finances dont need to be this difficult

When those go down (at a frequency of: A LOT) you are blind to your money trail through the app. Meanwhile, this team has seemingly no control of the outcome towards resolve and no means of updating their users of timelines or expectations. If you are not OK with having various bank connections falter for weeks or months on end from time to time, this app is not for you.

Copilot is the best money managing app I’ve tried but it’s still only fine. It could be great but they just don’t really seem to be improving it. I didn’t use the word budgeting because that feature is an absolute mess - the UX makes no sense. There’s a bunch of small annoyances all over the app (like the fact that you can’t filter by year; instead you have to manually select all 12 months individually). It’s also very hard to set rules so I end up categorizing tons of tiny interest payments individually. I’ll probably stick with it for now but if they don’t fix this stuff I’m sure a better alternative will pop up.
UX/UI breaks with very little complexity
Any complex budgeting, not even too complex, the UX breaks. Whoever your designers are, they need more training to understand what intuitive is
Why does anyone pay for this?
Maybe this works well for others but it categorizes my direct deposit paycheck (same amount, every two weeks, PPD ACH) as an Insurance payment. So basically it underrepresents my income by about 95% and over represents my expenses by 200%. You can then imagine the quality of the budgeting. It looks nice and seems to have a lot of bells and whistles but if it can’t block and tackle, this app
