Countdown

you can make the countdown and see the numbers, but you have to pay to do everything else like see it in a widget and edit the colors/ emoji of the countdown. Overall there are better apps to use as a countdown and i wouldn’t recommend this one.

I deleted the app because I simply just have nothing to countdown for and it keeps redownloading. I’ll look at my home screen and it comes back every 2-3 weeks. Super annoying.

Do you honestly believe that everyone wants to have this oversized font blasting in their face? 6.3.0 is a nightmare. I loved it up to this point. If you were going to insist on having this kind of font then at least have the decency to let people choose how it appear!!!

What in the world does the fee cover? The intellectual property or the complex design?

Edit: Alright, since the developers were upset with my last review, I’ll leave a more in depth one. This app is very simplistic, but not in a good way, there’s nothing drawing you to the app, no apparent style or theme that sets it apart from literally any other countdown app. In fact, most countdown apps on the App Store have their own unique theming or color scheme. This app does not. In fact, the icon on this app looks almost exactly like another countdown app available on the App Store.
It’s a little frustrating as well that you can only pick a background color rather than a background image. That’s not a truly custom experience. Also, it’s not advertised anywhere (as far as I saw) that a custom image comes with buying premium. If that is an option, it should really be included with premium.
I understand that the app should be easy for users to navigate, but it’s just not enough. Their “premium” features are just features that most other countdown apps do plus more.
I do understand charging for your app, apps are hard work. However, if your premium features aren’t all listed, how am I supposed to know if I should get it, or if the ones that are listed truly are your only premium features, then you have some fierce competition on the market. Building the app is half the battle, selling is the rest. You have to make a good app and be able to sell it, and the premium offers just don’t sell it when compared to many other countdown apps on the app store that often offer more features for a one time payment of $1.99-3.99.
I’m sorry that my review saying I wasn’t a fan of a premium only app was unfair to the developers, so I hope this review helps provide some more clarity on why I feel that this premium subscription specifically and this app don’t keep up with the competition it has.

You have to pay to have a widget and that was the whole reason I wanted the app. I mean the app itself was fine but I really wanted the widget😭😭

The doesn’t support anything but days remaining on the lock screen. Seems like it should be an easy fix to include the whole countdown. The only reason I paid for the full app was to be able to display it. Please fix it.
