Clunkiest app I’ve ever dealt with
This might be the most ineffective and clunky food service ordering app that I’ve ever dealt with. Nothing works as it should and they make it damn near impossible to make any adjustments to your order. Complete waste of my time

Super slow app
App is super slow and buggy even when on fast WiFi. Not even usable because it hangs up when you click “View Menu”. I guess I order from an app that understands the assignment.
Open the Safe
Any app that requires manually typing in your username and password as opposed to autofill is considered a safe to me. I dislike unlocking a safe every time I want to use an app, so as a general rule, unless it’s advantageous to me to have manual means only methodology to access an app, it better have treasure storing capabilities.

Terrible App
This is absolutely the worst app. It is completely unusable since the last update. I spent over an hour trying to place an order because I would get everything in and it would come up with an error message. “Something has gone wrong.” I would go back to my cart, it would be completely empty. I would have to start all over. Half of the time the menu is completely blank and I would have to close the app, start again, no progress saved. If you try to call the store and place an order they say you have to do it on the website or the app. The only way to get a to go order is to go there, place the order, wait for it, correct them when they have it wrong (twice) so it takes two hours to just get a takeout.
Terrible
I can’t believe that Cracker Barrel would allow such disgusting app to represent their store. It never works and it has cost them so much business. You are better then this Cracker Barrel.
Service horrible
First time I have ever had to write a bad review at this establishment. Good gets delivered with no forks or utensils, I ask for them and the waitress goes to another table of 5 to get their order. So I go get them from the back myself. I come back to my table she is still with the table of 5 then goes to the next table to ask if they need anything. Walks past my table with glasses empty. Comes bravo 5 minutes later and ask if I need anything?
Great food. Worst app
I can’t say enough negative things about this app. It doesn’t keep me signed in. It isn’t compatible with my password manager to sign me in. It allows me to order things from the menu that aren’t available because of the time of day. It allows me to place a long detailed delivery order for a restaurant that’s open near me and it doesn’t remember my address so I have to type it every time. Then I go to pay it doesn’t remember my payment information. And then it tells me the restaurant is closed at 7am on a weekday. How about telling me it’s closed before you let me select the restaurant or delivery or estimated the time the food would be ready?

Broken
As someone else has stated, when placing an order the app states it must be updated, despite already having the latest version. I submitted a help ticket online with a screenshot and was told some generic response “make an account”, which I did. Did not change anything and the support online just wants to close tickets to meet a quota.
Useless
App will not allow me to submit an order and tells me I need to update my app in the App Store, but app is latest version. Totally pointless.

It is impossible to order anything to go on this app. Constantly getting errors. Finally said screw it and ordered mcdonald’s. Def won’t be using it to order anything takeout

Wasting my time
Added a bunch of stuff to my order, then it asked me to sign in before placing my order. Then it lost everything in my cart. Then I traded everything. Finally got to place the order, and it said it could t contact the store. Could have saved me a bunch of time if it just told me that at the start.

I’ve tried on multiple accounts and multiple devices and am unable to add anything to the cart to order anything. Once it’s “added” to the cart, nothing ever shows up.

Wastes my time. I’ve input my order twice tried to pay after I put my order in. It tells me you have to update, but I go to the App Store to update and it says open app that’s all. A circle that doesn’t end.

Tedious app results
I literally downloaded the app 4 minutes ago. I filled out everything required of me. And go through the whole process of placing an order and then put my credit card info into the app and they tell me I need to update the darn app. Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous!
Garbage app
Downloaded app, picked meals, went to pay and 1) tip function didn’t work and 2) got an error being told I needed to update the app to place an order. EVEN THOUGH I LITERALLY JUST DOWNLOADED THE APP. Immediately deleted app and ordered Bob Evans. No wonder this place imploded after their logo fiasco.
Food great- app developer=horrible
This app is honestly trash. Every time we go to order online, I give it a chance but then it crashes half way through. Then it doesn’t remember what I had in my cart so I’m forced to start over every single time. To the point where I have to get my laptop out. Designer who cannot make a functional food app at this point should be reassigned honestly.
Basically Unusable
Do not use this app. It will cause you nothing but frustration. The website is just as bad. Call your local Cracker Barrel to place an order. I have items in my cart I literally cannot remove. Every time I try to order something there’s an error. You also have to input your credit card every time. App and website ordering need complete overhaul, and to allow for Apple Pay.
Don’t waste your time trying to shop.
The app is absolutely horrible to use .Never works properly. And the customer service are absolutely useless. They never solve your issue s. No wonder they lose business the way they do.
Login is a pain
Every time I get on here it logs me out and makes me sign in. So annoying, to the point where I don’t even want to order the food. Keep me logged in foo!
The App is Fine
The app is fine but I no longer risk tetanus while eating at their locations. The remodeling of the stores and rebranding was a mistake so I voice my displeasure at their decisions through this appstore review.

I tried to place an order on the app since I got gifted a couple of gift cards but there is no option for gift card payment :/

Please update app to allow comments can be left in regard to the order being placed, ie., “please place all loaded potato items on the side”. As well as being able to order without ordering the whole meal, I just wanted a burger. What happened to all of the condiments? Only have Heinz 557 to choose from.
No communication
I placed an app order. Arrived before pickup time. Waited 30 minutes for order without seeing or hearing from anyone. Left for work to avoid being late. Tried calling later for refund and no one answered phone for 10 minutes. Please hire more staff, especially on Saturday nights.
