After charging me a membership fee, they charged me an additional amount that is unexplained. Now, when I attempt to access the app, I am told me account is permanently blocked. So I’ve paid them twice for none of the things they promised, and now they’ve blocked my access but haven’t closed my account.

Laggy, support never reaches out, advances don't work , and they charge your card for no reason

I signed up, entered all my information. I got a message that said they couldn’t confirm my identity. How, I have no clue. Next thing I know I’m blocked from the app. I’ve had the same email and telephone for years so not sure how that happened with no explanation.

It was great until I needed to update my bank information I’ve tried for 3 months to get ahold of someone through customer support. I’ve had no luck and haven’t received an advance since. There’s not even a way to change or delete the bank account you setup with. It’s not user friendly and locks the bank account you choose into it.

This app sucks I was approved was giving the cash advance they will try to charge you one day sooner then pay date, that’s what happen to me my due date was 6/17 they charge me 6/16 and since I didn’t have the funds in my account I was overdraft and now can’t even repay them I ask multiple times to repay, the customer service sucks they have no chat support no option to repay and just unwelcome stress on my life your app sucks change the way we can pay you back

I paid always on time and then my bank got disconnected and the wouldn’t let me login after that it closed my account and said I was blocked permanently! I. Did nothing wrong and paid on time I submitted a ticket with no response or resolution
Customer ain’t helpful
I have a zero balance but it requesting to pay off the zero balance with a debit card that been close due to fraud !! ( there’s NO MENU option ) I contact customer service they ain’t able to resolve the issue ! But when it comes to withdrawal othe monthly payment they are quick to do it with my bank acct !!

They literally took 60$ out my account and deleted my login now when I go to login it’s says I don’t exist but they still charged my account I never even got an advance from them yet. I recommend you do not use this app. They will still your money and delete your account.

Got approved for a cash advance which was helpful at the time. However, they blocked my account due to “breaking” their terms and conditions which I honestly don’t know what I did wrong. Now I don’t have an option to pay them back since I can’t even use the app so I uninstalled it.

BUT now for some reason every time I TRY to log back in it tells me "Whoops... something went wrong" nothing went wrong. but it won't let me log in. Triple charged me no customer service
Used credit genie for awhile with only a few hiccups. Last week I manually repaid my $100 and it said system error. Checked my bank and they took $300. $100 was refunded I got an email saying it was an error but they kept another $100 getting $200 back on a $100 advance. Reached out to customer service multiple times and absolutely no response. Had to file a dispute with my bank.

I already paid my cash advance 3 day prior to the due date I even contacted support stating that and showing proof, get to get a response then today this Friday they proceed to attempt to charge my bank account again after I already paid the amount and I have proof! I contacted support multiple times which it’s pretty much impossible to get in contact with someone or get a email response, I repeat do not use this service they don’t look as you as a human just a money bag to try and take advantage off

Bro I seen all this stuff about ohhh this app can help you get money for gas and groceries but whenever I went to try it I was instantly denied for a cash advance and I have no clue why to I wouldn’t personally take the chance considering it might not work all these apps are the same they say that they can help but then they don’t like I’m struggling right now and needed the money so why lie to me ????

I thought I would download bc I needed a little cash didn’t get it next thing I know there’s two 9.99 charges on my bank same day emailed them didn’t hear anything back so I did it again the same so now I have 5 emails to them and still no response I’m done. That’s not right. Supposed to be a reputable company. Huh.

This app is not worth the time - my account got permanently blocked for reasons unknown to me. I removed access to my bank account, and cancelled their subscription, because this app is a complete waste of time, and never gave me a cash advance - even though I receive direct deposit, and there is transactional activity in my bank account. Yet this app blocked my account with no explanation. Probably just mad because I cancelled my subscription and, previously unlinked my bank information. I never had this issue with the other cash advance apps, and always got the money when I needed it. Terrible app.

Horrible Worst App Ive Ever Encountered
The customer service is absolutely nonexistent so don’t expect to receive any kind of response about any issue you encounter. I cancelled my membership on a Friday before noon and was charged the membership fee the following Monday and overdrafted my account, and can’t get any kind of response. Now I’m out $40. $10 from the membership fee and $30 for the overdraft from my bank because of this apps illegal practice. Save yourself the trouble and DONT GET THIS APP.

Whenever I select cash boost, it shows an error and it won't let me borrow cash. It's just stuck on qualify.
Good For Two Months
Dropped me from $100 to $10 and I didn’t miss a payment with them or anything. Cancelled sub and closed account.

The app crashes ALL THE TIME. My account has also been paying back the advance for 2 days, mind you, the money has BEEN drafted from my account yet the account still hasn’t refreshed. This has been a horrible experience.

Credit genie took an extra $100 I have not been able to get it back! Their customer service is a chat bot and they just regurgitate the same msg, but no one does anything! I have filed with consumer fraud, BBB and now my state atty general’s office! Be aware of these type of online lenders!
Disabled with no exact reason
I have used this app for a long time with no issues. I pay the $9.99 membership and just paid it on May 21st. Then my account was permanently disabled with the only reason being terms and conditions but I still have NO idea what happened

They are horrible they charge you fees every week they’ll also charge you 14.99 to have the money to your account you got one time to use a debit card then all of a sudden that same debit card will be disconnected and they will tell you that your information is invalid or to check the card details and you cannot be verified. It’s a bunch of bugs and errors with this app they dont fix . It’s horrible they will say it’s you but it’s them. They also charge you a subscription fee too . By the end of the month your paying about as much as half or a little more then the amount your actually approved for . It will never make sense. Don’t do it !

I downloaded this app yesterday and seen a lot of great reviews on getting the cash advance but everytime I try it says “something went wrong. Try again later or get support.” I don’t understand

Finally after paying off the Cash Boost, I was able to reconnect my bank. I tried to apply for an advance and I get a message saying I need to use another bank because the bank account I’ve been using for months is being used by another customer. It’s the same account I’ve been using since I opened my membership. Also there’s been login problems where you constantly get error messages trying to log in. You have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to fix it, but it’s almost constantly this happens. After so many headaches, I just cancelled my membership. Support is OK, but when they can’t help, they just give you generic responses.
