Doesn’t work anymore
As other reviewers have said the daily games aren’t working. I emailed the developer, didn’t get an answer. I checked the app store and updated my app as it said there were recent bug fixes. It fixed the daily games aren’t working for one day and it’s not working again. I wouldn’t bother downloading as it seems like they can’t get their stuff fixed.
Can’t see the clues
I can’t play the game because I can’t see certain numbers. The number clues are too small and pale. The font toggle only changes the letter size. It would really help if we could zoom in or if the numbers were larger or darker.

I’m sick of games advertising what they are, but, when you actually get the game, it’s not the way it was advertised at all!! It’s a letter guesser without the cute clues that were advertised. :/
Bad developers
It’s fun to play obviously. But they barely give you lives and when you lose all your lives it takes too long to get them back. Trying to force you to spend money. And if you fail a level they don’t replace the letters they gave you to start it out. So after your forever wait period, you then get no help and they are super vague on the topic of said level. Very poorly made. Going to hop over to a different creator, maybe they got it right.

I truly enjoyed this game. However after a while it became too expensive so I deleted the app. I am still getting money taken out Apple Pay weeks later!! How do I fix this and get my money back?

Most games of this type upon the third mistake, you can watch an ad to get another chance. Not this one. While there are no ads during the game if you make a third mistake, you have to buy your additional chance for two dollars.

This is the worst game ever they make it impossible by the time you get to the super hard levels and barely give you any lives, like do you not want me to play? Terrible game.

When it works…
It’s a great game. But I find it doesn’t work more often than it does work. Between the blank page ads that make me force close the app and reopen it to the pauses during the game that cause me to get Xs and HAVE to watch ads (that are sometimes blank page ads) to continue.
Buggy, with two minute long ads
The daily puzzle calendar crashes if you try to open it after completing all available puzzles. Fix it.
Also, be consistent with your citations. If you’re going to say Mary Poppins said something rather than PL Travelers or the Sherman brothers then don’t say a quote is from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle rather than Sherlock Holmes.
And look. We all get it. You need ad revenue. But there is no such thing as a mobile game so compelling it is worth sitting through multiple two minute long unskippable ads in order to play. All games which allow these extensive ads get one star. No exceptions.

Need major updating. Frustrating more then brain working
I love a good cryptogram and this one kept being advertised. I got it and I hate it. The game freezes constantly so you land up putting a letter in the wrong place. Lord forbid you need to step away from the game for a second. It logs you out then you lose all letters and clues and lose a life. This should be a fun game brain teaser but it is honestly just a stressful mess that needs more work on the game and less on marketing

The ad mentions how gameplay will have no ads. Yet immediately upon playing, I had some

The lagging is so annoying but the worst part is if you pause the game for a few minutes it starts the level over. It’s most annoying when you’ve spent money to get extra bonuses to reveal letters etc. It’s happened to me several times resulting in me losing at least $20!!

Love app but purchases are a bust
I love playing this game but I’m done wasting my money which goes no where. My first purchase was to remove adds. It was a great move. However when I purchased the Legendary Bundle I had it for about 24 hours before it disappeared. I sent an email to support and heard nothing. Now with the recent update the adds are back! I’m prompted to purchase the remove adds again! What’s the deal? That’s the last straw. I’m done with this game.

What’s with the letter “P” that shows up when I tap an empty space, causing an error when my finger was nowhere near the “P”? And level 337 has a non existing word in it, “Rote-morizing? Was that a misspelling, or some kind of slang? And why do some of these games burn up my battery? Other than those things, I really like the game.

Fun, except when you fail
When failing at a level, the entire board is cleared, not even letters that you would start with are there. This makes it nearly impossible to complete the level, especially when you run out of hearts (gaining more requires waiting 30 minutes to refill or to purchase coins in order to play again). Literally stuck on a level since I don’t have those beginning letters, making this game not enjoyable.

This game was an ad in my other games! I was drawn in and intrigued. I love the game! The delays and glitching may cause me to delete the app and find a similar one.

Exciting and fun but it definitely glitches and freezes which makes it double entry and loose tries and even repeating the level. There is also no free ways to earn coins….

While ai do love to play this, the freezing all the time is annoying. Wish it would be corrected. You spend more time waiting than playing. 🙁

i love this game, but it lags, while in the middle of a puzzle, then comes back to, after i’ve done guess something different and marks it as a mistake. and randomly crashes. once that’s fixed, i’ll rate it a 5star.
Great game, needs improvement
I love playing this game. It’s fun and super addicting. However my problem with it is how much it pauses (glitches). If you don’t realize that it’s in a freeze, you end up getting errors because even though the screen is frozen, it’s still tracking all your clicks and movements, and completes the moves after the screen unfreezes. I would upgrade the stars on my review if that would be fixed!
Love the game HATE the Lagging
PLEASE fix the glitches! I’m losing letters because it glitches. Game is set up wonderfully. Lags REALLY BAD. Not just one level but ALL levels. Needs a fix. Will update review once addressed.
Freeze and crash
I really like puzzles like this but it seems this game is very glitchy and will freeze up and kick you out of the game. So I ended up deleting it.
Fun game. AWFUL app
I have never had an app freeze and crash as much as this one. It’s so frustrating because I love the game (which is the only reason I didn’t give it 1 star) but I have never played a single game without it freezing multiple times-often causing me to lose the game when it catches up & types more than one character at a time. If I have to leave the app for more than a couple of sends, I like every other app with this game that I’ve used, it won’t save your progress. You have to start all over. Also, if you accidentally click to give yourself a hint you can’t X out of it, and if you strike out, you can’t just watch an ad to refresh.

HORRIBLE glitch
So upset because I love this version but the glitches// freezes are so horrible. Deleted it after passing Level 80 so I REALLY tried to give it a chance. So horrible
Too small
The letters are even smaller than the one I’m doing now with low vision. It just makes it harder, especially with the colors in the background and I can’t see it other than that I have no complaint.
Glitchy and cuts you off
It’s super glitchy and too sensitive so it says you got one wrong even when it glitches - it does it enough times to make you lose, sometimes right in a row. And then you can’t play.
And then if you leave the app or someone calls, you lose a life and can’t play for like 30 minutes.

Glitches
Like the game but freezes often during play, restarts puzzles without reason and I’ve had the same daily puzzle that has been solved multiple times for the last 5 days.
Fun but doesn’t work well
The game itself is fun but it frequently freezes up for seconds at a time. If you don’t realize it an hour Nett the letter a second time this will cause you to get a wrong answer. Also if you lock your screen at any point during the game it may or may not start over and cost you a life.
