I looked up a lot of the ads within this game and every one came up as a probable scam. Most selling clothes that look well made. The latest one I looked is selling America 250 themed clothes. This is definitely a ripped off website. Total scam.

More ads than gameplay
It really sucks that they push the users so hard with this game. Every 30 seconds of gameplay they make you watch a 60 second ad and a lot of the ads arent 60 seconds long so they just put them on loop.

Ridiculous
Update - the timers are absolute BS. Playing a multi level quote, each part extremely long and the timer is at the bottom. There is absolutely NO way anyone can guess a correct letter to beat the timer. Ridiculous. And the mid game LONG ads are a distraction and unnecessary. Do better. What app developer in 2026 does not save your progress?! Had to reset my phone, downloaded this app again only to realize they don’t save your progress, no way to log in so everything is GONE! I’ve been playing for years and back to zero. I no longer have the option to watch a video for the scissors, extra mistake shield etc. Such BS. It’s 2026 not the early days of app development.
Waaaaay too many ads!
Not only are there too many ads, but many seem to run longer than 30 seconds. This makes the game more frustrating than fun.
Clueless
Don’t download this game. Too many ads and if you do pay for the ads to stop, they will get you from buying more keys so you can keep on playing. And when you run out of keys, you’ll have to buy more for you to be able to continue playing.

Since last themed event, a new one has not started. It’s been days. They’re the best part of the game. I have little to no interest in this game without them
Payed and still getting ads
I liked this app. I liked it so much I paid $5 to get rid of the ads. When I open the app now I get a long ad. I will be disputing this charge. Absolute bs.
So many adds
Game itself is entertaining, but having 2-3 multi minute video advertisement breaks per puzzle is ridiculous. Heck, even opening the app usually requires an ad break before you even start.

This has got to be one of the worst games ever! I can understand ads in between games, but this game take an “ad break” many times DURING the game!! It only lasted an hour before I deleted it!

This was my favorite game. But the fun has disappeared. When you have to watch an ad which lasts 2 to 3 minutes with no way to exit, it takes way to much time. I play at least 5 other games which allows an opt out when an ad starts. Going to stop playing

This app is nothing more than a “pay-to-play” item. The farther you get into the “puzzles” the more you find they are next to impossible to complete under the apps given conditions at the time. If you have lots of money to give to a company getting paid to show an insane amount of ads, go right ahead. Otherwise, keep looking.

Used to be fun. A true deciphering game. But it’s no longer about that. It’s about guessing. Truly ruined it.

I could live with it if ads were played after every game but they play them during games too if the phrase is on the longer side. I did not even get halfway through a phrase before it gave me 4 ads and I decided to delete the game right there. I am not watching 10 unskippable ads just to finish one phrase. This is a great game but there are to many ads. Some the ads won’t stop till you play there game (NO). Others ads are to long and yet others show you how to play and use the stupidest people playing them. You can’t relax playing this game with the ads they have.

They removed the packs from the game and just have a bunch of uninteresting promotions and events instead. Going to download a diff app that has them, very disappointed. Used to love this game

Game is fun but the amount of ads this game has is insane. You can’t even finish a board without ads. Then on top of that the ads they have you watch are the ones where you have to click next every few seconds up to 5 times each ad. So when the ad plays you don’t even get a break for a minute instead you have to keep clicking next to get through the ads. It’s terrible and now I will delete this game

It takes me way too long to complete a game because of the “Ad Breaks “ in the middle of a game. I don’t try to complete some of the competitions because it takes so long! I’m very close to deleting this app and finding another Cryptogram game app.
