Stop breaking it
Nothing but constant issues from this app and the camera. Multiple instances of push notifications breaking and taking days to fix. Most recently they issued a firmware update that completely broke cry alerts, arguably the most important feature. They didn’t communicate the change, they know they are broken, and they refuse to roll back the change, instead choosing to drag their feet on a fix. Go with another brand. This one is trash.

Buggy mess
The app is still a buggy mess. Half the time you open the app it says not connected to the internet which is obviously false. Or it finally opens but there’s no volume. When rewinding the feed it now buffers and freezes more than ever and sometimes plays the first few seconds in slow motion.
Poor app
poor app, after upgrade, the app will automatically capture photos and videos, then create daily highlights even if I disabled the auto photos capture feature, and their support team not able to address this issue

Update your privacy setting!
There is a mandatory privacy settings update that continues to error out when we attempt to accept. Access to the app is currently blocked as a result. I will update my ranking when this issue is fixed.

A baby monitor consistently disconnect, can’t login, can’t pass privacy screen. You a name it all
Not able to accept privacy policy update
The latest update of the app require you to accept the privacy policy update. However, when I try to accept it, it always report “Unknown error occurred, please try again”, and it’s blocking us from using the app and device. All my family members are experiencing the same error, log-out/login or reinstall the app won’t fix the problem.
Cannot use after policy update
Accept policy update says error occurred, decline forced to quit the app???? At least we need to see the camera when putting the baby to bed!!!!

Privacy policy update breaks app
Guys, what the hell there’s no way to accept your new forced privacy policy without getting errors and it’s blocking using the app. Why did no one test and fix it this.
Can’t even login
It was fine until it isn’t. This morning it pops out a privacy update. I am fine with it, but the privacy update won’t disappear even when you clicked “accept” - some internal error happened. I decided to log out and try a fresh login. Unfortunately I can’t even login anymore. This is so disappointing that you need it most, but it just refused to work!!!

App does not work. Always always shows errors and fails to connect. Parents don’t need another thing to stress over when it comes to baby sleep. Please fix the ongoing issues.
DISABLED FUNCTIONALITY
We have been using for 2 years & suddenly functionality is completely disabled due to a privacy policy update that causes an error when you accept!
Slow App that fails to load
This app often fails to load the camera connection. You have to force quit and open again hoping it works. When it does connect to the camera is it very slow. Wouldn’t buy this camera again. The AI is also terrible. You’ll have to pretty much turn it off unless you wants an alert the baby rolled over every time they put a hand in front of their face.
Great when it works
Originally had a really hard time connecting the camera when setting up for our baby in 2024. A lot of app issues that new parents just don’t need. The support team is no help, ever, in any situation. The video stopped working in 2026 and the support had me upload a video via GoogleDocs using a link they sent me, asked what email I used to upload the video, then told me to go unplug the camera. In my sleeping child’s room. If you can’t fix it, just tell me that. Rage. Bait. That being said, when the app works, it’s a great monitor. Just major app issues and a really horrible support team.

Do not buy this monitor. Consistently disconnect. You can’t even reconnect without manually plug/unplug the device power. Stay away from it
Unreliable
The only thing reliable about this app is being consistently disappointed. Every night I have to restart the app at least 3 times before the sound will work, which is arguably the most important feature.
Not working on iOS 26.2
After updating to iOS 26.2 nothing works. I can never connect to the camera even after several reinstalls
Privacy issues
I’ve used this camera for over 3 yrs it works fine. With the current app update you’re forced to agree to its privacy policy but are prompted that you can decline the policy in settings. If decline the privacy settings-which appear to have updated which third party companies or agencies have access to data and images- you’re forced to close the account and won’t be able to use the device. They don’t clearly state which agencies they are selling data to or why. This is very concerning especially since we’re dealing with children.
Absolutely Horrible
AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. The second that you set up the app it will give you AI features, so when I set it up a month before my son was born, I was wasting features. Contacted support and they were of no help. Lately, I have been getting "no internet connection" and having to constantly restart the app to check on my child. Now? It logged me out overnight. Trying to get back in has been a nightmare. It "sends a code to my phone number" but I get nothing. I try and contact customer support and it says "someone will be with you shortly". 10 minutes later? Still nothing. I close the chat to go do something else and come back and the chat is now gone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
The worst app
Absolutely horrible. it works maybe 15 percent of the time and the other 85 percent of the time we just have no monitor . It used to work great when I just had one and then we bought a second one for my second child and everything has gone downhill with their app and it’s absolutely horrible and we’ll be buying different monitors soon
Safety Risk - Doesn’t Work
To start, I’m a very experienced software engineer, so please trust me when I say that the failures of my tests of this product were not due to a silly user error, like failure to update app settings, software versions, etc.
Secondly, the failures of this app are not 100% consistent; I’ve received some face covering and rollover alerts over the 3 months I’ve had the product. However, they’re extremely inconsistent, which in my mind is more dangerous, because it baits the user into trusting the device.
Regarding the tests, I’ve tested across 2 iPhones with fully updated iOS, updated app versions, full app permissions, app opened, app closed, “ai status check passed”, etc. etc.
A face covering was simulated by placing an object above the infants head but not body; the object was held there for at least 30 seconds for 3 independent tests across multiple active iPhones. Every test failed to alert.
PLEASE be careful not to trust this app for rollovers and face covering alerts.

Can’t even sign up
So far the process for setting up the app has been extremely frustrating as I keep encountering error messages when just trying to create an account. It seems this app doesn’t work at all.
Not Reliable
This app/monitor are horrible. It constantly has connection issues where you can’t pull up the camera, and most of the time the feed from the camera is spotty at best. There will be minutes worth of lag/catching up on occasion, where it will be a live feed for about 30 seconds then nothing for minutes at a time where it’s froze, then momentarily go back to a few seconds of live feed. Worst baby monitor purchase you could make.
Camara almost always fails to show live video
The application has had so many issues lately. Camara is always lagging to connect or just simply fails in connecting. Have to open and close the app several times. I definitely do not recommend for parents who want to do a quick check on their kids. Walking to the room and checking in-person is faster than the app at this point.

I regret purchasing the CuboAI. The product is filled with design flaws that make it nearly unusable and completely unreliable in the moments when it matters most.
The camera sends constant, excessive notifications that quickly become overwhelming. Most of them are false alerts, so you end up ignoring them altogether, which defeats the entire purpose of having a baby monitor. Even worse, when you do get an alert, there is no way to jump straight to the moment it was triggered. You have to manually scroll through the timeline and guess when the event happened, which wastes time and adds frustration.
If your child starts crying and you want to see what happened, forget it. There is a significant delay between live events and when you can actually view the footage. Sometimes it takes up to two minutes. That kind of lag makes the system useless in urgent situations.
Live playback controls are also shockingly bad. You can’t pause the video. If you want to rewatch something, you are stuck rewinding in 15-second chunks and watching in real time. There is no way to scrub through or jump to a specific moment. It is clunky and frustrating.
The lullaby feature feels like an afterthought. The selection is tiny, and you can’t queue up multiple tracks. If you want to change the song, you have to do it manually. Otherwise, the same lullaby loops over and over.
The app itself is slow, glitchy, and poorly designed. Combined with cheap hardware and a basic AI model, the whole product feels like it was slapped together with minimal effort.

Just get the Nanit
This app is so laggy, the camera takes ages to load, you have to force quit the app loads to get it to show the camera, the ai detection is poor. It’s a good enough quality camera but it’s frustrating to use and to scroll back a few hours to see how baby’s night went so just get the nanit it’s more reliable I wish I had

The app is extremely slow even with fast internet connectivity, the music feature is constantly delayed and takes forever to load, and it’s not clear where they store the “daily snapshot” pictures they take of our baby or if you can opt out. We are considering returning this product.

Unreliable Hardware
I’ve contacted support multiple times and followed every troubleshooting step they gave me. Nothing worked. The camera still goes offline randomly-most recently at 12am with loud beeping that woke up my baby. Absolutely unacceptable for a product meant to provide peace of mind.
Support keeps sending the same generic instructions instead of actually fixing the issue. No real solution, no offer to replace the faulty device. If you value your time, sleep, or sanity-look elsewhere. This product is unreliable and the customer service is frustratingly ineffective.

Disappointed
I would have given this monitor a higher rating, but the company has completely lost my trust. After a full year of being able to view nightly snapshots and track my baby’s sleep patterns, they’ve suddenly locked those basic features behind a paywall. It’s incredibly disappointing and feels like a greedy move-charging extra for functions that were originally included with an already expensive camera. On top of that, the app freezes frequently and often disconnects. I’ll definitely be switching to a more reliable and customer-friendly product. This experience has left me frustrated and disheartened.
TERRIBLE
DO NOT GET THIS!!! I just want to look at my baby in real time. Every time I open this app, it takes 2-3 minutes (and multiple app restarts) to launch the camera. It’s SO BAD.
Get a non-wifi monitor
Despite being located directly above my router, I constantly have “connectivity” issues with cubo. It is unreliable and inconsistent. Initially I loved the microphone feature. I also loved the moments wall, but that was taken away and is now a feature of the premium package. I do not recommend this product.
Do not buy
Absolutely atrocious software - rarely works. Do not waste your money. The notifications are annoying, the hardware is bad - you have to perform a factory reset to change wifi. It is the worst product I’ve purchased in the last two years.
Audio rarely works anymore
Audio is arguably one of the most important things- hearing if our son is crying. Sometimes if I open and close the app, I can get the audio working again but lately not even that fixes it. My husband hasn’t been able to get monitoring audio working on his phone In weeks. Whether the app is open and in focus or backgrounded- I can’t hear anything. I’ve tried taking my phone off silent mode and restarting the app and nothing.
Won’t turn on
This is our second CuboAi, we got one of the first models when our daughter was born in 2020 and loved it. That one still works actually but has alot of issues if it loses power and can take forever to restart. With our son, we got the newest model as of 2023 that included the pad that shows you if they are breathing and the breathe rate. Loved it. But it’s been having issues, and as of yesterday I think it got bricked and now seems to be a $400 investment down the drain. Worked as of yesterday afternoon, and then stopped working completely. Won’t power up, and because it can’t connect to wifi, the pad is also useless. Oh and looks like there’s only a warranty for one year, so we are 6 months past it being covered so I doubt even if a firmware update bricked this that it would be replaced, so now I will have to replace it with something else. Will contact support and see if because we have been loyal customers there’s something they can do.. Otherwise I will not recommend this product again, and my baby due this September will not be using CuboAi.
Cannot connect when traveling
Very frustrated and upsetting that we cannot connect to the camera when traveling and did not get prompt customer support .

Buyers beware. The rating of this app should be a good indication of the number of extremely unhappy customers with this product and company.
We bought this camera 2 years ago thinking we were getting the “Ferrari” of baby monitors, and the disappointment has been immense.
This is not much that a cheap camera in a nice looking casing, and a mediocre app that has most features behind a paid wall. Reliability if connection is poor - so be prepared by regular connectivity issues.
To make matters worse, the company is pushing updates to the hardware without any notifications and no way the revert them back. My camera has been bricked after the most recent update and the customer service is clueless. I’m sure they are flooded with customers in the same situation.
Save yourself the trouble and get yourself a tp link camera. It will give you better functionally for 10% of the price.

Terrible connection issues
I always have problems with my WiFi disconnect from it. Even received a whole new device from the company. Now my lullabies won’t ever play because I need an update but it all says up to date. Terrible experience with this app and device.
New update
The app opens and then when I click the video of my child to make it full screen, it auto crashes. Every time. I’ve tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, changing WiFi and network connectivity, ensuring the app is fulling updated (I suspect this is the issue, since it hasn’t happened before in the last 2 years of use), etc.
