When I compared two items that I had physically appraised against the app, the app gave an extremely low price. When I went to cancel it, it only cancels it starting next year. Nowhere did it allow me to trial the app and I want my money back.

Incorrect identification
For my very first scan with this app, I tested it by taking a picture of an item that I know a lot about. The app misidentified and vastly undervalued the item. That would be OK if the UI provided an opportunity to offer a correction or to reject the incorrect label, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't. Why would you pay for something inacurate?
Paywall misleading and false information
Very bad at showing pricing information. It is misleading the users and accidentally get subscribed to unwanted plan and gives false information ℹ️

I tested this app against my 1700’s quarter sawn oak armoire which I paid $28,000 for several years ago. Its value in the app is $1,900. Comparing to others valued in this search, it looks nothing like them. This is a fail.

The first try and instead of aluminium vintage tray I got the answer that it’s a frame. Just great!
Bad Company and App. Worst customer service!
Horrible company and the app is sub par in accuracy to other comparable apps. They only offer a full year subscription at $40 until you cancel and all of a sudden they give shorter more reasonable rates. “Bait & Switch” these are crooks! Bad company m, app, and people.

Not helpful or true
I have tried to no avail to get our money back for this app. Well, it is fun to scan things around your house. I use it for work. And it is not accurate.
Refund needed
They charged me for this prescription that I did not asked for. I want my 39.99 back now.
Reminds me of a scam!
I received incorrect information. I was testing out the application. I wouldn’t trust it for any reason to give me the information I’m looking For. I tried to find Customer Support to cancel my subscription and guess what there is nowhere to do it. If you know one, please let me know! I am frustrated and angry and I will keep trying to cancel this subscription and get my money back. Don’t download this app it’s garbage.
Absolutely unreliable app
I signed for this app and couldn’t cancel it for the entire year. I would be glad to keep it, but it’s absolutely useless toy. I tested it on a number of items, well known and rare and it never ever gave me a correct info. Don’t use it waste of money.
Can’t even try if you don’t pay 39.99
Who knows if it even works, or how well. Not you if you don’t pay the 40 bucks. Can’t even try once to know for sure this is for you, so to me a total fail, unless they are selling a junk app that in fact does not work. What it looks like to me!

Couldn’t get it right if it tried.
Depending on the time of day and how you hold the phone in your hand you might get a correct ID but more than likely not. I’ve scanned the same piece of vintage jewelry twice, 30 seconds apart and got two totally different answers. Worst purchase ever. If I could get a refund I would. Misinformation has cost me money since I started using this app.

Is not accurate
Tried this out on a few items and afterwards within an hour requested a refund and was denied. Scanned an item made of cast resin and it identified it as a wooden item worth thousands of dollars
Poor assessment
The dresser was a Lambert original with stamp. Worth a bit more than $800 as a generic art deco dresser.
Often wrong, overestimates price
This app is okay at identifying items. It seems able to do so about 80% of the time as long as you include additional information. Without it, its accuracy is far less.
I cannot get it to work AT ALL in stores like Goodwill or Value Village. It only works with wifi. It does not work with cell service at all which makes it somewhat useless for my purposes.
Where it goes very wrong, however, is the value of the item. I have NEVER seen an item sold for the amount Curio claims it is worth. Items for sale on eBay, Etsy or even the overpriced Replacements are priced always lower than the Curio estimate. I have seen items at high end antique stores valued less than what this app estimates.
So, beware when using this tool to value items.
