Stopped working with iOS 26
Had it for years but when I had to upgrade to iOS 26 it no longer works. When I open the app there’s no numbers on the buttons. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but it still doesn’t work.

Won’t even launch any longer. I used this app for years, now it is unusable.

Another cash grab
I’ve been using this app since 2010 as I travel internationally. I happily paid for the app to get all the features a couple years back.
Notice that almost all of the five star reviews are from more than five years. These were happy customers just like I was who were recommending this app to all of their friends who were also traveling internationally.
I go to use the app now and there’s ads all over the place, I’m filled in order to get the same functionality that I had already paid for, I must now pay a subscription fee .
This is another example of a company stripping away functionality that was paid for and then offering it as a subscription to make more money.
I will be moving on to another app. I will actively tell people not to use this app because of these practices.

I’ve been passively using this app for years because it’s usually inaccurate. All of the sudden I tried to use it today and I had to create an online account for it- BLIP!- IM OUT!

As a war is going on and people need to get to the hospital.I refuse to pay because it’s a 15 minute ride for me and it would’ve cost me almost $50. Absolute criminals.

Absolute rubbish.
Absolute rubbish. Don’t know how this app gets any good reviews. As a technical person, I could not figured out how to add a simple widget to show two currencies.
Need a ‘restricted mode’ for Advertisements
Advertisements show models in provocative poses with naked body parts being shoved to the forefront of the picture. I wouldn’t want my children to see these pictures, nor do I want to for that matter. Advertisements are inappropriate and there should be a restricted mode to be able to regulate them

I would choose the ones I like and every once in a while it would just reset my list and give me a default one.
I also do not care about “smart” currency suggestion feature, it boggles me every time I switch VPN, no I do not want to add Singapore as my IP suggested currency. I just VPN.
When tried to contact app developer by email the app tried to open Mail app. I do not use it, I removed it, I can’t even see the email address. I use gmail.

Useless.
The app resets to the default currencies weekly, and I have to re-add the 10+ currencies that I need regularly every time. The UI is by far the best of all the apps but the resets render it a waste of time for me.

Random resets so you can enjoy adding everything you were watching back into app. All good things must end.
Customizations lost after every update
Customizations such as currencies added to the app are lost after every update. I’ve reported this to the developer but they neither acknowledge nor fix the issue. I have the paid version of the app currency+ since I paid for ad removal years ago.my advice is to look elsewhere since the developer won’t acknowledge or fix the issues

A joke?
While you can ask for any amount you feel your app is worth, $20/year subscription while there are great similar apps for a one time fee of $2-$3 makes this option a big no go!

This app knowns my location without giving it permission
I’m giving this app one star because they know my location without giving me giving them permission to do so. When I went to add a new currency, it already knew what currency I was gonna pick based on “my location”. Seriously? Totally disrespectful. Immediately deleting this app. Unbelievable.
Widget won’t mirror app settings.

Where do you get your data?
I’m puzzled by what this app gives with the exchange rates and what I experience when go to the country to exchange my currency. I follow the rates on other exchanges and in certain countries it fluctuates daily but on this app they don’t change by much.

Changing saved currencies on paid subscription
It’s frustrating that currencies I keep deleting keep being added back to my saved currency list and ones want keep getting deleted. Leave my saved list alone.

Every time there is an update, the currencies I selected are replaced with standard ones someone else chose. Idiotic!!!

Every 2 or three weeks it dumps your settings and reverts to default. For no good reason.
