Hopelessly Useless Slopware
We have to use this app to register for sessions at an annual conference and it is an eternal pain in the rear end.
Navigation is terrible, there’s no search function for finding sessions on specific topics, and you can’t filter whether the sessions are full or not which means that you will sign up for sessions only to realise that they are full because someone else signed up for it without you knowing.
Oh and if you are a presenter your sessions do not show up in your calendar so the only way to put them on your conference calendar is to sign up for them which takes a spot away from a potential attendee.
If I could give this app a negative star review I would.

Seems sketchy
No search feature
Pretty poor app. There is no search feature that I can see
Attendee list
I cannot scroll through the list without starting at ‘A’ - there should be an A - Z alpha listing so one can go to any letter instead of having to start at the beginning. Also should be able to download the attendee list somehow.

It’s an okay app but I’m only giving it 1 star because of the nonstop pop up to write a review.
Terrible conference app and support
Nothing but issues and hours on phone with tech support.

Schedule of sessions selected is badly broken, I would rather have a sheet of paper at this point.
Never Works As It Should
Every time I use this app there is a different issue. It’s supposed to make events easier, but as an attendee it never does. Maybe shift some of that marketing spend to the programming.

This app keeps saying “unexpected error” when I try to do literally anything. I keep uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing works
Multiple Events
Hard to figure out how to log into an event after a previous event is finished. You end up logging into the expired event.

Logging in isn’t easy from app to desktop. Pdf files are not down liable

Counterproductive and impractical
I’ve used many lead receivable systems in my time, and this one is among the poorest. Not being able to record information real time in a tradeshow booth is not practical by the time the the system replicate to prospect has left the booth. I’m onto the next prospect. I have to go out of the app. To replicate then I get my leads too late to add notes.
Malfunctioning event app to avoid
The App won’t open properly. If you’re organizing an event don’t use this one.

The app doesn’t seem to work. Entered my email, it doesn’t email me an event code to get the info I need. Very frustrating. There’s no mention of how to get help. Why use these apps if they don’t work and you can’t get assistance???? Was the app vetted with actual users?

Glitchy
Tried to add sessions to my agenda, wouldn't work. "Attendees" doesn't accurately reflect who's present; only shows those who made themselves "visible," and even those have hardly any info in their profiles.
Poor app
Horrible app. Not easy to connect to videos. Does not allow for interactive chat with presenters. Seems to glitch on finding conference for the correct year to claim clock hours.

On 5G+ connection, app was painfully slow to refresh at my event.
Keeps Logging Out Too Frequently
The recent version of the application or server platform have the logout time out set too low compared to a year ago: since having logged in since last month, I have been logged out more than 5 times and logging back in requires 2-factor authentication code sent via e-mail which has a long delay and is excessively time consuming. Poorly designed application and system: DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Still working with it to see if it improves but I’ve seen it be glitchy at other conference events. This is the worse I’ve seen so far in using the tool.
Improvements
Participants overwhelmingly comment they refuse to leave workshops reviews because they must be logged in. As a result, they share they don’t feel like they can be honest because the comments are not anonymous. Also, participants want to be able to go back to previous days and access presentations and surveys if they forgot to place workshops on their schedule. Too much money has been spent for the app to restrict participants access to information that was paid for through registration and thousands of dollars through travel to attend the conference.
Livestreming
Not working - missing the presidents plenary. When you click on “watch livestream” it says already registered and will not take you to the actual livestream.
Event HFC
Unable to hear speakers and they seem unprepared.
Sending Past Events to the Memory Hole
While the event is going on, the program works nicely and smoothly. But for professional reasons I need to access the details of past events, and I really dislike the way these are closed so that nothing can be found after the fact less than a year afterwards. In a time where so much information is available indefinitely, the harshly temporal nature of Cvent is not good enough.

Battery killer
Using the accent app for a conference and any time it’s open my phone gets really warm which is a sure sign of high processor usage and I’m seeing the battery drain to match! This is especially bad at a conference where you tend to use your phone more than usual and need to squeeze every minute of battery out of your phone.
