Cloud save fail.
Amazing game. But I redownloaded cytus recently, and my cloud save progress was gone. I tried several things when I emailed support, and nothing has worked. There doesn’t seem to be any real process for restoring lost save files besides turning cloud save off and on or updating my device (which didn’t work). So 6 years of CYTUS II (after 5 years of CYTUS), and I’m remiss to say that I have to be done with it. If I build up that progress again (i had all max characters), it could just happen again, and I refuse to do it.

It’s a great amazing game with great storyline and beautiful music but the reason why it’s getting one star because the backup never works and I’ve had to restart three times already. One time it wiped my game just because of the update. I can’t play this game anymore cause I can’t deal with the pain going through it all over again, just to lose the data a fourth time.Very disappointing the developers due lack of data back up programming!

Please let's have an option to change the tapping animation. I'm begging you. Also, there are a lot songs I want to -lay from ivy, please make her songs more accessible. I don't want to level up neko or paff. I HATE their songs. At least make so I can pay to play come on guys. What are you doing with these terrible decisions.
Cloud save?
Somehow I end up whit all my progress lose, I go to my apple Game Center profile show like I have 100.000.000 I asume minutes in the game but now all the characters are lvl 1 I have always have cloud save on this does not make any sense

Say no to AI art
I am super disappointed in your guy's decision to replace real artists with AI. I played your games for YEARS. It is my favorite past time to play on long waits and to play with my friends. I've been a fan for about 9 years, played Cytus 1, Deemo, VOEZ all to completion & this game. I was happy that it is continuously updated with new characters and songs. But now I am extremely disappointed with you continuous use of AI and getting rid of incredibly talented artists who deserve better. You guys wouldnt be here without their beautiful artwork displayed across your games. No panel of your games was without their hard and talented work. Do Better.
Issues syncing purchases
I spent ~$40 on the game and can’t sync my purchases from my phone to my tablet.
I have emailed them and not received any reply.
There seems to be no easy way to reach them for technical support. Disappointed. I would have spent more on the game if not for this.

I really did love this game before and had been playing it for years but I can’t support a company that fires their artists and replaces them with crummy AI “”art””. Don’t give them your money.

Are They Really…?
I have been supporting Rayark for years now. Probably since Deemo, back in 2014? Deemo, Cytus II, and VOEZ were my favourite go-to rhythm games whenever I was out and about, and had to pass time. Even the first Cytus was extremely creative with their hidden songs! I have put more hours into Cytus II on my phone than expected. Everything about it is beautiful, each character has a different genre of music, there is actual story, and they put time into threads and responses in game that talk about stuff that’s happening. It’s so immersive and I loved it. However, I found out recently that Rayark had gotten rid of their artists and are replacing them with AI??? I was always raving about how great Rayark is about giving credit where it is due, but if they did this just to cut costs, then I cannot support them any more. I really loved them, but I really don’t want to support companies who try to capitalize on AI creations. Putting artists out of businesses so easily is horrible when they’re making good money with all these songs. So unless they can solidly confirm otherwise, I’m going to be really sad about not being able to sink more money into these games.

This was a nice game to play, however the recent termination of your artists in exchange for AI art is disgusting and is disappointing to say the least.

Don’t buy Cytus or any Rayark game anymore period. They recently fired all of their artists and went ahead to replace them with AI DONT support this company anymore they only want to make a quick buck now and no longer care about the value of artists in the slightest.

THEY FIRED THEIR ARTISTS TO USE AI ART
As a long time fan of cytus II since the launch of the game I am disgusted with the actions of Rayark. I’ve followed the game since the beginning but will now delete and no longer support this awful company. These actions are inexcusable, the art is what gave the game it’s soul. Seeing a company carried by its artists betray them like this is reprehensible and deplorable.
Usage of AI Art
At some point, this was my favorite rhythm game. I loved this company, where I listened to beautiful music and enjoyed the equally beautiful artwork. But now they are using AI to make the art. What a disservice to their real artist team and the player base.

Great game! The storyline is so interesting and I love the art but sadly the studio is using AI art recently and even hiring AI specialists to potentially even use more AI within the game.

It used to be a great game, with interesting story, though now the said "tech takeover" is ironic, as the game has entirely shifted to AI and thus fired all creative teams. Please stop supporting the game, please do not buy packages within the game.

I really loved this game so much. The playstyle was close to a basic rhythm game but moves around the screen, which makes it more fun and is great for the touchscreen, I also love the layout which makes the game feel like as if you’re experiencing the events through social media and news sources which is so cool. Unfortunately, the company who made this game recently fired all of their artists and replaced them with AIs, which is something wrong on many levels. Often capable artists have trouble finding jobs and making adequate amounts of money, and on top of that AIs are trained off of non-consenting artists work. Artists deserve to be paid, and their art shouldn’t be used for this kind of thing without their consent. As someone who’s put years into art and animation and hopes to someday dedicate their whole life to it, I can’t bring myself to play a game that treats their artists like this.

Disappointing
I loved Cytus 1/2 and Deemo but I can’t support the company if they’re going to fire all their artist in favor of AI art work I’m disappointed and will never support this company again
Game Devs Lack Respect For Their Workers
Rayark, the company behind the game series Cytus and Deemo, recently fired all of their artists in favor of using AI art. Especially for a game like Cytus 2, whose message in its entirety is to warns against the over usage of AI and apathy of those around you, this is unforgivable.
Stop spitting in the face of artists.
I used to play this game religiously for its extremely well made art music and writing. I found out recently that this company uses AI generated images instead of paying artists now. It's already hard enough to get a job in the industry as an artist. Having our hard work get discarded like this only to get replaced by cheap copies insults me and many other fans of this game. For a game that's all about the dangers of AI you folks are extremely hypocritical.

I’ve heard that Rayark has fired all their artists, in lieu of using AI art for their games. Not only is this extremely disrespectful to the artists who worked so hard to provide the visuals for Rayark’s games, but it is also incredibly inhumane. There is no excuse for blatantly disregarding the efforts of people and their talents in order to cut costs or to make more money. Although I am a fan of all of Rayark’s games, I cannot support them while they favor AI over people who have put their soul and sweat into their games. Until Rayark re-hires their previous artists, and discontinues it’s use of AI art, I will be deleting Cytus 2, and any other games I have that they have made. And if anyone agrees with my assessment of the situation, I think you should too.
