Not Worth It
I been using this app for a long time and purchased it, just after it came out. Fortunately I got a discount back then, because it wasn’t worth, what they were asking for it. Now they want me to pay for a subscription, not a chance.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a decent app, but nothing has really changed since it came out and it’s really outdated.
There are plenty of free or lower cost apps that do the same thing and this one, is definitely not worth a subscription or even paying a one time price for.

So I updated the app today and they’ve now gone to a subscription model, so my prior purchase is now worthless and the app is unusable! $30 a year is crazy for a little simple list app, which is all I want! Bait and switch!
Where’s my data from free app?
I’ve been using this app for many years. When did it become a paid app? And where’s my years of data? What do I do if don’t plan to pay for the app? Shouldn’t “charter” users have free use for testing it for you for all of these years? Please advise.
Not logicall
1. Calendar is not readily available, you have to dig for it.
2. You have to sign up and give them permission to charge you even though your just signing up for the free trial. I consider this a sneaky business tactic in hopes you’ll forget about it and they get your money vs. you being prompted your trial is almost up.

Introducing monthly fees for a previously paid (and expensively paid) app is a fiasco. A so-called developer should DEVELOP a different NEW product, and establish such scheme for its new creation, not steal the one already sold and try to make people re-pay for it. Shame on Lumen Trails.
Deceptive Update
DO NOT UPDATE! This developer sold this app (and 7 other versions in different colors with slightly different names) for as much as $19.99. Then they introduced an update to v10.3 (from v8.17), which they described as "Added an option to use Lumen Trails for free with ads, and introduced an optional monthly subscription, which removes ads and supports future development." But that updated simply introduced advertisements (and no new features) in an attempt to push existing purchasers of the app to buy a paid subscription to remove the ads. They did not ADD an "option to use Lumen Trails for free with ads"--existing paid customers could already use the app without ads. Apple should roll back the update and prohibit such deceptive practices.
No ads!
Hate the new update with ads. I PAID for this app. I should not have to put up with ads. Total ripoff.
Bummer of an "update"
This "update" inserted ads to a product I had previously PAID FOR. Looks like the only way to get rid of the ads is to start forking over $ every month. Very annoying. I guess I'll be looking for a replacement for this app now. Sigh.
Introduction of ads
I had a fully paid up version of Lumen Trails. This new version has suddenly introduced ads and is basically forcing me to pay a monthly subscription to get the of them
Frustrating
The app has tremendous potential but doesn't have the most basic tools. For example, no ability to create a simple checklist that resets each day. Also, they previously had a template function--their basic ones were helpful (customisable and saved time) and it's too bad they were removed, but this tool was also pathologically underdeveloped. The option to save templates was available but no library to share among users to improve everyone's use by sharing better templates (so they didn't even have to try to make templates if that was why they were removed--users would do the work for them). Overall this app could be amazing and never has been. It is the genius but lazy second son who could have achieved 3 PhDs but still plays computer games in his parents' basement at 38.

Needs Split Screen Support

Another great app turned to subscription uninstalled
Another great app that I purchased then they turn it free with ads and only offer a subscription model. Uninstalled.
I had it before.
I had this app before. It had more options available and it was free. They changed everything and are now making people pay. While it is very versatile, I don't think it's worth it. The interface on the "trial" version is annoying. All their apps are pretty much the same thing, but with a different colored icon and a different name.

I updated the app and all my previous information went missing. Maybe I did something wrong idk, but I lost body weight measurements for the last 2 years and my daily journals
