I’ve been a loyal player of Dark Wars for nearly two years, but the last six months have been nothing short of a disaster. It’s clear the developers have zero regard for their player base. They’ve stripped away all the rewards and content that made this game enjoyable and worth my time.
After this last season, the lack of any meaningful rewards is the final straw. I refuse to continue funding a team that shows no appreciation for its customers. If you’re considering diving into this game, do yourself a favor: save your money and your time. It’s simply not worth the frustration anymore.

These games should be banned who is regulating these games you would do a lot better if I gave the product advertised no good
Wrong game!
There's very little I hate more then false advertising. I get that the ads are a stylized representation of what the game is but I downloaded this game thinking it was like the ads suggest. Make THAT game and I'll come back to it, the one advertised is beautiful and amazing looking and at the very least, advertise the game as is so people at least know what they are going to play and you might not have as many people delete because it's not what they thought they were getting!

Don’t waste your time.
If you came from one of those really cool 2.5D ads don’t bother downloading, it’s not the same in game. The page preview doesn’t even match. If you want to be lied to every step of the game, go ahead and download otherwise don’t bother.

Dead community
If you see this ad an are interested in this game don’t bother to download it. The community in this game is dead and no one plays it. Everyone in alliances don’t text back and haven’t been on for months. Most things in this game have to be done with a team (events) but you can’t even do it cause not one is active. Don’t waste your time like I did. 😠

I was expecting something like what was be displayed in the video for this game but however I was disappointed. I don’t even understand how this is a top rated game or whatever. Seems quite boring to me really. You should actually create a game like what is shown in the ad. A zombie survival game where you find a train to ride on and build your home and have to scavenge for food to stock up and water.
Latest season is terrible
Terrible terrible season…devs have taken everything fun about this game and ruined it. Origin lands is the worst season of any game I’ve ever played. The tile wars, constant random rule changes, 4 hour battle times on Saturday or weekday mornings (For US players) have destroyed enthusiasm and interest in the game.people are quitting every day (p2w and f2p) alike. Devs- you get one more shot at this or I’m out after 1.5 years of playing this game
False advertisement
The game is nothing like the one shown in the ads. They make claims about trying to capture the themes of the game with the ads in their responses to complaints about it in these reviews, but then why not show actual gameplay with the actual level of graphics and art style actually used in game? No, they are intentionally showing something more interesting than what they are offering to convince people to download a game. Which is false advertising.
Watch your bank account closely
I purchased an in game pack. They double charged my account and when I disputed one of the charges they tried to strong arm me into giving them money. They are dishonest and are not that good at development.
Bullying Allowed
This game allows bullying and harassment of players and alliances. I recommend a different strategy game if you want to enjoy the game.
Not what was advertised
I saw the advertisement of a “cozy” game on social media and after playing it for a bit realized it is NOTHING like the advertisements. I have no interest in attacking other people’s shelters and frankly hate that they advertise it as something it is not. I’m sure people have fun with this game however I was looking for an actual cozy game not whatever this is. If you’re not paying for all the upgrades you village will be attacked and raided by other players in time zones you’re not in so when you wake up all of your resources will be gone and you have to start from square one where in the hell do you think that is cozy. I get that false advertising is the only way you can gain followers but this is insane.

I really wanted to play the game like it was advertised. But it’s nothing like the ad. I’ve deleted the game. If you ever make it like the ad I’ll definitely play.

Why can’t games like this simply show real in game gameplay. Game is nothing like the adds because a add can’t be created without ai nowhere now and days and for a player base that is actually in love with the game you think you could real them in with the genuineness of the game play, but instead, lie to people and they will fall in love with the thought and idea of what the game could have been. The reality is if you like the game good for you nothing like the ads.

The advertisement I saw AND the images you have on the app page show extremely different art. The art shown is very “Studio Ghibli” esq. but the game it had me download is more like a Pixar animated movie. The gameplay looks completely different as well.
Pay to play/win
Overall a great game, similar but better than Clash of Clans, however the devs have been told multiple times by myself, and a multitude of others, the pay to win is a problem and players hate it. They have been informed they have till the end of this month of this post to fix the problem- there are several easy ways to fix it and they still make money, if not more, but refuse to do any one of them- or face with legal repercussions that may result in the end of the game. I really hope they fix the issue because it is a good game otherwise.

Totally different game.
I downloaded this game based off of the really cool looking Ads I kept seeing about “aesthetic apocalypse comfy game”. Upon starting the game I quickly realized it was absolutely NOTHING like the ads. No cute little anime van/train car, and certainly not the same style of game that was advertised to me. How do companies keep getting away with this completely inaccurate ads. FYI, the game sucks too and it looks HORRIBLE! Wish they’d take the hint and actually make what they keep claiming to have.

Everytime I’m on YouTube, I get 1000s of ads on this game and I’ve blocked every one of them (yet I still get spam advertised). I get that your game sucks so you have to make it seem good with fake AI ads, but it really pisses me off. Yall devs are a bunch of bums and would probably have a good game if instead of making fakes ads, you worked on your bum ahh game. I’m very curious to see if the devs have enough of a spine to respond to this.

This is perhaps the most dishonestly advertised game I’ve ever seen. It shouldn’t be allowed on app stores and certainly shouldn’t be advertising the way it is on Google and other platforms.

The gameplay is absolutely nothing like the ad. I hate when they do that. Why show an ad for a completely different game to lure people in, if it’s not what they’re going to experience after they download the game? So frustrating! Deleting it now.

Just another bait and switch game
I saw the ad and it looked similar to a game like the old school Mario brothers where you run, jump or shoot something. But in typical fashion for the false advertising Chinese internet game makers who seem to have some anime fetish, the game was not as advertised. It’s no different than any other game that has the home base, millions of tasks, lots of slow narratives to get through and ultimately feels like a lot of work for zero reward.

Got the game for the ad because a game with cool graphics surviving in these awesome setting would be awesome. It isn’t.. it turns into toxic money grab whale fest where the player with the most money creates the biggest team of power hungry individuals who control servers and beat the snot out of weak players. You don’t have to spend money but people spend a lot of money for power in this game

Do NOT purchase anything in the app!!!!! You can use the game for free, but the app is not safe when purchasing. Multiple times I have bought something, and it never gets applied to my account. When I take it to support they basically tell me “too bad so sad.” It’s genuinely insane. As someone who works in tech, I cannot fathom how they are getting away with stealing like this. DO NOT PURCHASE
Misleading ads
I’ve been playing the game for like 6 hours and have yet to see anything that resembles the images in the ads or on the App Store listing. This game is starting to turn into Game of War all over again. Absolute joke. Apple needs to force devs to use images and videos from the actual game.
