I talked to customer support and I said what happened to the rest of the deposit that was paid on time ??? They were 0 help ! And all the told me it’s based on the bank account and what’s spent and we give you the deposit based on your spending history ??? I have the same paychecks in the account every week to the month that this is paid ! And you wanna track the spending and what’s not paid on time ? I highly don’t recommend this app ! If you’re looking for extra money ! Worst cash advance I have ever used !!! No other cash advance says okay you paid this deposit on time ! We will give you Less than what you paid for especially for it being on time !!!! Makes 0 sense !! They will rob you of the money they gave you !

I really liked this App for a while, until it started, randomly choosing, when my due dates were outside of my pay dates from my employer. When I reached out to customer service, asking why I was getting due dates outside of my pay dates they told me nothing could be done. Then I got penalized and had my amount lowered. I completely understand if I wasn’t paying on time and my due dates were set up correctly/accordingly, but it’s another thing when they’re scheduling my due dates outside of them and then penalizing me.

Here’s my issue, my debit card is near expiration two months from now, I just found out it’s going to take two weeks to get to my address since it auto ordered.

Low Level Security
I would not use this app anymore, my account got hacked out of nowhere and I lost 340 less than 24 hours. The hacker changed my email and address on my account. How come a financial institution like Dave have a low level security that allows hackers to access consumers account. The customer service also not the most helpful and their English is so bad. The customer service agent said it would take some time for them investigate the problem even though less than 24 hours a hacker just took my money and I have to wait more than 24 hours from Dave to find the problem even though your security got broken by a hacker in less than 24 hours. It’s crazy. Don’t use this app anymore.

They will pull before your check deposits so they can charge you extra fees. Agents are rude and not helpful.

Most deceiving, money hungry money app out there. Don’t expect an extension or a consistent offer, they will switch your available amount from $600 to $150 in a blink of an eye with no change in income on your end. And the fees should be illegal to begin with.

I ALWAYS settle my Dave checking extra cash on a Friday, and if it’s a wonky day like a holiday or something, on Saturday. Meaning a week between each settlement. Fair right? Well this week?! I put allllllof my money that I had in my bank account for groceries for myself and my daughter. It’s a TUESDAY. I just checked my bank account because my card wasn’t working at the store, and oh guess what? DAVE DECIDED TO TAKE MY MONEY RANDOMLY ON A TUESDAY WHEN ITS NEVER ONCE BEEN IN THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK. I am now randomly because of stupid DAVE without groceries for me and my kid. I have never been so heartbroken and disgusted in my life. The operator I talked to had no explanation whatsoever, and this is for SURE when I’m getting rid of this stupid Dave account that had helped me for so long. I settled last Friday and thought I had a whole week to go like I ALWAYS have. How could they do this to people? Especially in this economy when everyone is struggling? I have never felt so betrayed by a service in my entire life. Ever. I hope nothing but the worst for everyone who works and owns this company. What a slap in the face for being a completely loyal customer who always did it right every time. Thanks Dave for being crooked and useless

Not consistent doesn’t make sense why you can’t have the same amount pulled out every single time. They tell they can’t do anything about it. It’s quite frustrating cause when you actually need the money it isn’t the amount that you need.
Then they asked to pay back about $25 back as well when other places only asked for 10. It’s a terrible app, don’t use it.
